On the So-called Re-integration

Tuesday, 09 February 2010 08:56 S.H

The recent American tactic to lure away members of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan under the name of
re-integration is the old formula of colonialism which says divide and rule. This is the formula which the British Digg
th th
colonialism was using in the 19 and 20 centuries to subjugate the
proud Afghans but it failed to conquer Afghanistan. Similarly, during the past eight years, the submit
enemy used all wicked tactics including military power, torture, blind bombardment and
detainment but they have utterly failed to bar the Afghans from their struggle for Share
independence of their country or derail the resistance from its course. Now, they are
moribundly trying again to drive a wedge among the ranks of the Mujahideen by giving them bribery
and providing them jobs. This will also bring in nothing for the enemy— only they will repeat the
historical mistake once again.
Undoubtedly, the invading enemy tramples down on all recognized rules of combat while facing the home grown resistance
of the Afghans. The brutalities, tragedies , and racial cleansing of the Pashtun at the hand of the invaders is now a part and
parcel of the history , being a black stigma on the face of the American democracy and human rights record.
Ironically, the Americans and their coalition partners used to call the Mujahideen as terrorists, then ,they started to call them
armed opposition and now they, some times, refer to them as “ the fabrics of the Afghan society”. It means all these were
politically motivated misnomers to throw dust into the eyes of the public of the world. The Mujahideen are the true sons of this
land who have been struggling for liberation of this soil from the claws of colonialism.
As we have said earlier, by resorting to some nasty tactics, the enemy only prolongs the current war but will not grant them
victory. Every time, the Islamic Emirate puts forward constructive proposals for establishment of true peace in the country, the
enemy reciprocates by cynical wiles and colonialist tactics instead of coming with viable proposals. Unfortunately, they have
not learnt lesson from the past eight years when they tried all tactics and wiles. Since the Bonne Conference when they
imposed some murderous warlords on our people up to now, American policy is based more on its colonialism ambitions
rather than the ground realities in Afghanistan. The recent tactics of re-integration which is accompanied by their announcement
to launch military operations in Marja district of Helmand province will also face fiasco as their previous stratagems.
They claim eighty percent of Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate are not related to the struggle ideologically. They are wrong.
No question, the current Jihad is a popular upheaval but at the same time, all Afghans are ideologically Muslims and aspirant
of establishment of an Islamic system in Afghanistan. There are no difference among the Mujahideen when it comes to
formation of an Islamic regime in the country and independence from foreign yoke.
