I.

Terms and Conditions for New Users

a)

All new customers of SOUL Software would be entitled for SOUL Premium Membership for a
period of one year from the date of supply without any additional payment;

b)

After completion of one year, the SOUL user would be required to pay an SOUL Premium
Membership Fees as indicated in the table given above;

c)

All software updates will be provided free-of-cost during the premium membership period;

d)

On-site visit for troubleshooting would be restricted to two free visits in a year for SOUL Premium
Members period. In case, additional visits are necessary, actual TA and local hospitality will have
to be paid by the Institute of SOUL user;

e)

Training on installation of software and operations will be provided to only one person at the
INFLIBNET Centre with free hospitality. Additional person(s) deputed for training will be charged
at the rates indicated in the table given above;

f)

The Centre reserve the right to accept or reject any order fully or partly without assigning any
reason thereof;

g)

Payment should be made in advance by mode of Demand Draft drawn on any nationalised bank in
favor of INFLIBNET Centre payable at Gandhinagar.

h)

Service taxes will be charged extra @ 12.36 % .

II. Terms and Conditions (Applicable to New as well as Existing Users)

a) SOUL Premium Membership entitles you Free two on-site visit and rest of the all visits if required, are
paid (Actual travel expenses + free Hospitality provided by your institute) Free Software updates if any,
will be provided for valid members

b) Data conversion services will be provided on payment as indicated in the table given above;
c) Services for authentication and tuning of records are available based on available fields and would be
limited to spelling correction and formatting of the entries. Charges for the same will decided on case
to case basis;

d) Customization will be done on payment basis without changing the database structure. Charges for
such customization will be decided on case to case bases depending upon quantum of work;

e)

Service taxes will be charged extra @ 12.36 % .

II.

Terms and Conditions for Existing Users

SOUL 2.0 will be supplied to all existing users of SOUL (version one), free-of-cost, on receipt of written request
from the users having adequate hardware and software, with following terms and conditions:

a) On-site installation of SOUL 2.0 will be done on payment and terms and conditions as indicated in
the table given above;
b) Support under Annual Maintenance Contract will be rendered on payment as indicated in the
table given above;
c)

All software updates will be provided free-of-cost during the contract period;

d) On-site visit for troubleshooting in the software would be restricted to two visits in a year. In
case, additional visits are necessary, actual TA and local hospitality will have to be paid by the
Institute of SOUL user;
e) Training on installation and operations will be provided at INFLIBNET Centre on payment as
indicated in the table given above;
f)

The Centre reserves the right to accept or reject any order fully or partially without assigning any
reason thereof;

g) Service taxes will be charged extra @ 12.36 % .
