the scarlet ibis. In a full paragraph, compare and contrast the bird
and the narrators brother. Conclude your paragraph by explaining
why you think the author titled the story The Scarlet Ibis.

36. Explain the allusion in the title of If I Forget Thee Oh Earth.


Explain the allusions relationship to the plot of the story.

37. Describe Grandmother Cain. Give both a physical description


and a character description. Use evidence from the story to support
your description.
