BTP was very useful in my interview for Honeywell, it is not in their area of interest but
he was just impressed by the project details. If you are applying for a core interview
BTPs will definitely help.

o Subjective has proofs from graph theory. Algorithms and Stochastic process
questions.
E.g.: If the probability of an insect dying from time t to t+dt is a function f
(t) (Which is given) .What is the expected time of survival of insect/how
many insects would still be surviving at the end of a certain interval of
time.
Any good Graph theory book will have the proofs.
Step marks are awarded. So its okay even if your end answer is not
correct.
I answered only 2 out of 12 subjective questions.
o Do not leave in-between the test.
Test score is used for shortlisting.

o Questions asked in interview depend on which objective section you have

I attempted math so Math puzzle questions were asked. Herd on the
Street- refer this book for puzzles. I got 2 questions form it.

random, How to generate 7 random numbers.?
Some questions were based on Pigeon Hole Principle.

As for now they are in need of people. Mostly they will come for placements this year
also.
Profile is coding involving php, javascript, HTML, Mysql, redis, sphinx etc i.e, stuff
related to wen development.
We had about 2 months training for learning all those. There is also an option for going
into app development for IOS or android.
We haven't started it yet but we might work on it future.
Skill Set:
Only skill that you need is now to code(any language).There will be a training period, so need to
learn anything beforehand.

There was an APTITUDE test. They shortlisted some 25(not sure) and first 10 had only

o Grilled on my intern for 15-20 minutes which I did in Transocean. (Another oil
field services company)

You will be assigned a segment like Wire Line, Cementing etc. You will work on off
shore/shore based oil rigs. All necessary training is provided beforehand. You need to
coordinate/work with the onsite crew and complete the task. Work is both mentally and
physically challenging.

Short-list was made for the test based on CGPA cut-off of 8.00
There were two tests:
o Preliminary aptitude test
o Coding test: questions like: given a number n ,count the number of3s that
appear in all numbers from 1 to n were asked
Selected students had 2 rounds of interview (technical + HR).
The interviews were fairly easy. They did not ask any technical questions in the
technical round. Both rounds were like HR rounds.
Just let them know that you are interested in the company.
They were very particular about a good academic record. They kept asking whether I had any
backlogs. They hire for a more senior position from IITs than they do from other colleges, so
they were particular about this.
Relevant Courses:
Not any courses in particular. Since it is an IT profile, some CS courses may help. Just let them
know that you are interested in coding at some level
