Compliance

The impeller shall be of cast bronze enclosed double suction type, both statically an hydraulically balanced. The impeller shall be keyed
to a shaft. The shaft material shall be steel to the shaft shall be protected by; sleeves with a gasket joint between it. The shaft shall be
protected by; sleeves with a gasket joint between it and t he impeller for protection against shaft corrosion. The sleeves will be bronze Noted&Comply.Grease lubricated bearings are used per UL/FM requirements
to ASTM 8584-932 or equivalent. The sleeves will be positive drive by means of a key and with an extern sa sleeve nut set screwed to
the shaft for a reduction in shaft wear

The shall be equipped with renewable throat bushings, casing rings in bronze to ASTM 8584- and inter stage channel ring to reduce
casing wear and maintenance costs. The casing rings and channel ring shall be hold by Anti-rotational pins to permit easy reinstallation
and reduce down time, impeller wear rings are optional. The rotating element shall be mounted in (Grease) (Oil) lubricated ball
Noted&Comply.Grease lubricated bearings are used per UL/FM requirements
bearings (when temperatures rise above 225"F. Water jackets shall be added). Heavy cast split glands shall be furnished on each
stuffing box design for easy removal for packing inspection and maintenance. Heavy fabricated steel base to mount the pump and
driver shall be furnished. Flexible shaft coupling shall be furnished to connect the driver pump. Coupling shall be installed with coupling
guard in accordance w ith section 8 of ANSI 8 15.1, Safety standard for Mechan ical power transmission Apparatus

The M otors for Emergency firewater pumps and Training fire water pumps shall comply w ith NEMA MG-1, Motors and Generators,
shall be marked as complying w ith NEMA Design 8 standards, and shall be specifically listed fo r fire pump service

Comply. IEC type motor manufactured by A88 is provided.

The main pump set shall be provided with a direct drive, totally enclosed fan cooled, 2900 rpm, F class insulation, temperature rise
restricted to class 8, IP-55 protection type Standard Motor wound for a 415 volt 3 phase 50 Hz. supply w ith flexible coupling and
mounted with motor alignment jacking points

Comply. IEC type motor manufactured by ABB is provided.

The motor shall fully comply with QP standard ES.2.03.0001 (Elect rical Engineering Philosophy) ES.2.14.0030 (LV. Cage Induction
Motor), ES.2.14.0098 (Electrical Requirement for Package Equipment) NFPA 20 (2013), & NFPA 70[(2011) CONTRACTOR shall ensure
compatibility of pump and motor in all aspects

Comply_ IEC type motor manufactured by A88 is provided.

The driver shall be selected in accordance with NFPA 20[(2013) clause 9.5.2 to provide the required power to operate t he pump at
rated speed and maximum pump load under any flow condition. All motors shall be rated for continuous duty. The motors shall not
have a service factor greater than 1.1.5.
