Section

Subject Code : 10122ME303

:B

Staff Handling: Mr. M.A.SARAVANAN

AIM:
To study about the laws that governs the conversion of energy from one form to another, the
direction in which heat will flow, and the availability of energy to do work.
OBJECTIVE:

To achieve an understanding of principles of thermodynamics and to be able to use it in

accounting for the bulk behavior of the simple physical systems.

To provide in-depth study of thermodynamic principles, thermodynamics of state, basic

thermodynamic relations, Principle of Psychometric & Properties of pure substances.
To enlighten the basic concepts of vapor power cycles.
