Peraturan mengenai standar kompetensi bagi apoteker yang akan bekerja di

Singapura di atur oleh Singapore Pharmacy Council (SPC). Apoteker dikatakan

kompeten ketika mereka sudah mempunyai keterampilan, pengetahuan dan
kemampuan dalam bidang farmasi.
Standar kompetensi didefinisikan sebagai kombinasi dari keterampilan,
pengetahuan, sikap dan nilai-nilai yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan pekerjaan
secara efektif. Kerangka kompetensi ini menjelaskan koleksi kompetensi yang penting
bagi kinerja yang efektif dari seorang apoteker yang bekerja di Singapura. Kompetensi
harus diperoleh selama pelatihan awal dan dipertahankan atau lebih ditingkatkan
untuk kinerja profesional yang lebih tinggi.
Ada 9 kelompok besar dari kompetesi standar apoteker di Singapura, yang harus
diikuti oleh seluruh apoteker baik dari Singapura atau luar Singapura yang akan
bekerja di sana.

Area fungsional 1-4 merupakan peran utama seorang apoteker berlatih dalam
praktek farmasi. Sebagian apoteker terlibat dalam bidang fungsional 5 dan 6 dalam
berbagai derajat. Standar kompetensi ini dimaksudkan untuk membantu menetapkan
standar minimum praktek apoteker pra-pendaftaran yang akan mendapat pelatihan
baik rumah sakit atau sektor masyarakat.

Uji kompetensi
Kompetensi dapat dinilai oleh penguji menggunakan minimal 4 dari 6 metode berikut.
Metode penilaian wajib ditandai dengan tanda bintang :
1. Supervisor observation*
Supervisor akan menilai peserta pada aspek kompetensi selama periode waktu,
dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai kondisi di tempat kerja. Sikap, perilaku
profesional dan kualitas kerja harus diamati.

2. Written assignments
Ini melibatkan pengajuan berbagai jenis tugas yang berbasis praktek sebagai
ditugaskan oleh penguji (misalnya laporan, studi kasus, alur kerja operasional)

3. Learning log*
Pengalaman praktis dan sertifikasi saja (misalnya saja Pertolongan Pertama)
harus dicatat dalam log pembelajaran. Ini akan menjadi bukti didokumentasikan
belajar dan reflektif catatan yang memberikan bukti mencapai kompetensi. Catatan
harus disusun oleh masing-masing peserta pelatihan dan ditinjau oleh pembimbing
yang ditugaskan. Catatan idealnya harus ditarik dari pengalaman praktis nyata tetapi
ini tidak selalu layak diberikan berbagai pusat pelatihan dan sektor. Sumber terbaik
berikutnya didasarkan pada simulasi praktek profesional.

Prescriptions : The trainee is required to keep records of counselling for 35
dispensed prescriptions. Minimal 3 resep yang harus dipilih dari kondisi medis berikut

Peserta pelatihan dapat memilih kondisi lain untuk sisa 14 resep. Peserta pelatihan
harus mencoba untuk memilih kasus dengan masalah yang berbeda dalam setiap
kondisi medis.
Intervention : Peserta pelatihan diperlukan untuk merekam 20 intervensi dilakukan
dalam format TITRS (T-Judul, I-Pendahuluan, T-Text, R-Rekomendasi, S-Signature).
Drug information : Peserta pelatihan diperlukan untuk merekam 10 pertanyaan obat
dilakukan dalam format direkomendasikan termasuk Enquirer, jenis dan detail
penyelidikan, respon dan referensi. Peserta harus menyertakan setidaknya satu
penyelidikan yang diperlukan pencarian literatur primer.
Counselling of Minor Ailments : Peserta pelatihan diperlukan untuk mencatat 20
kasus penyakit ringan menasihati dalam format SOAP (S-subyektif, O-Objective, AAssessment, P-Plan). Setidaknya 2 kasus harus dipilih dari masing-masing 6 kategori
inti berikut (total 12 kasus):

Ini akan menilai kemampuan komunikasi, pengetahuan, penerapan teori ke
praktek, pengambilan keputusan profesional, penilaian dan sikap dari peserta
pelatihan.

5. Project work
Peserta menjalani pelatihan selama sembilan bulan atau lebih untuk
menyelesaikan setidaknya satu proyek. Proyek ini harus berbasis praktek atau
menjawab pertanyaan penelitian tertentu. Project ini harus melibatkan penelitian
literatur, perencanaan dan metodologi, pengumpulan data, analisis statistik,
presentasi lisan dan formal write-up

Evaluasi akhir
Setelah selesai memuaskan dari semua penilaian kompetensi, ditugaskan
pembimbing masing-masing peserta pelatihan harus menilai kinerja peserta pelatihan
menggunakan formulir evaluasi dan menyerahkan hasil evaluasi dan rekomendasi
untuk SPC.
Ujian
Semua peserta wajib untuk duduk dan lulus ujian kompetensi yang dilakukan
oleh Dewan Farmasi Singapura. Rincian pemeriksaan, instruksi untuk calon dan
silabus akan diberikan dalam dokumen terpisah.
