Senior Software Test Manager

procedures, test plans and test reports. Performed gap and root cause analysis and presented
to the Program Manager to develop a strategic plan. Managed testing teams that included two
independent groups in the Information Sector. Updated schedules as well as risks to the
programs. Interfaced with customer testing teams, user acceptance testing teams, and
operations requirements testing teams to ensure that tests were reviewed and accurate.
Achievements:
Reorganized the testing team and provided a new schedule that consolidated a years
worth of work into eight months
Worked with the customer to organize their user acceptance testing (UAT) methodology
contractual requirements. Prior UAT plan did not address end-to-end testing and
underestimated the time to complete the project. The programs schedule was
reworked to save several months of work that would have cost additional money on a
fixed price contract.
Reviewed the automated testing tools (LoadRunner and Test Complete) when put on
one project and directed the initiative to implement the tools. The tools were not
implemented after twelve months of work and testing was conducted manually. This
initiative saved the program valuable time in testing integrity as well as introducing
regression testing during the second implementation of the project.
