ADL-13 ENROLLMENT:
The name has been changed to Officer Basic Course (OBC) and can
now be done online, but there is such an enormous demand that National is
now filling the July 2010 class. Members can still enroll through the normal AU
A4/56 channels until 1July 2010.
See the CAP University portion of the www.capmembers.com website
for details. If you are currently enrolled in the ADL-13, please continue your
studies. Their enrollment will continue normally and will expire 12 months from
the enrollment date, as usual. No new enrollments for ADL-13 for senior members should have been submitted after 21 Dec 09.
The three simple steps to enroll in the Officer Basic Course include:
1. Confirm your eligibility to enroll in OBC-Seniors must have completed
Level I. Cadets must have completed their Mitchell Award.
2. Ensure you have not completed ADL-13-If you have previously completed
ADL-13, members will be not accepted as students at this time in order to
accommodate all the members that need to complete this requirement.
3. Complete the OBC Enrollment Form found at:
http://members.gocivilairpatrol.com/cap_university/officer_basic_course.cfm

the last day to submit any quarterly reports from 09.
215 Specialty Track:
All squadron AEOs need to be enrolled in the 215 Specialty
Track for AE. Anytime a new AEO takes the position, a CAP
Form 2A must be sent to the wing DAE who will mail them an
AEO orientation kit and remind them to enroll in the 215 specialty track. Currently most of Nebraskas AEOs are not enrolled. The AEOs that need to get enrolled ASAP; Aaron
Pigula (02), Gene Saunders (04), Doris Willert (16), Pam
Spaccarotello (19), Andrew Kocarnik (56), Greg Schriver
(93), and Dave Anderson (94).
Its Time to Brag:
Thats right, now is the time to brag to the Wing of what your squadron has done this
year. The end-of-year activity report can be found on pages 38 & 39 of CAP Pamphlet
15, the Aerospace Education Officers Handbook dated December 2009, or online at
http://members.gocivilairpatrol.com/media/cms/PO15_7F5AF1EE8A806.pdf. This report is required at the end of each year by every squadron AEO, sent to Wing Headquarters, Attn: Lt. Col. Bev Talbott. We need yours today.
Brewer Award:
January is also the month that members in your squadron (Cadets and Senior Members)
can be nominated for the Frank Brewer Award. This nomination must be completed on
CAP Form 25, which is located in CAP Pamphlet 15. Anyone can make a nomination. Cadets who are nominated must have earned their Mitchell
Award and be current members; Senior members must
