Expressions of Warning
Following are classification of Warning expressions use for our products.
Classification is determined by the degrees of estimated danger, however
warning of label must be follow irrespective to the classification.
May consider the heavy injury or death of personnel in case of wrong
handling, and indicated cautions of extremely emergency of arises danger.

on instrument if misuse. (Background: Yellow)

For safe use operations for test
- Basic works for load frame
1. Movement of crosshead. Upward or downward of ram, sufficiently use

prohibited.

are not around the testing machine load frame.

control console.
- While suspend testing
1. In the case of an emergency, remove load by turn the loading knob to
return direction for stop testing. Cautions while testing.
- Tensile test
1. Do not put on anything on the table when carry out the tensile test, as
scattered to surrounding by the shock of rupture.
2. Following 2 points must be confirmed before start tensile test.
1) Suitable chucks are using for test piece.
2) Test piece is chucking properly.
- Compression test
1. Install suitable cover for test piece scattered by compression.
- Bending test (Need bending test device of option)
1. Fc material is break and danger, so fasten test piece by string or rope
others.
- Materials
1. In case of testing the materials different to the normal metal material,
such as hardness or permissible stress value is extremely high, etc.

1. Never apply load to the test piece by movement of crosshead.

10 mm.
Tensile test
1. After some tests, clean the surrounding of upper or lower chucks

Compression test
1. Place test piece on the center of compression plate.
Bending test (Required bending jig of option).
1. Attach test piece vertically to the bending roller.
Concrete 4 point bending test
(need concrete 4 point bending test jig of option).

Use SHEEL teracce oil C150 (220) for operating oil. Do not mix with other
kind of oil.
Oil volume must be more than 70% (about) of the oil level gauge. (When
ram unit is most lower position).
For maintain accuracy of loads and obtain accurate test results, perform
periodical inspections once a year.

Material
1. In case of testing material is different to the normal metal material,

Test preparations (common to tensile, compression & bending tests)


1. Turn on power source
- Primary power source ON
- Breaker located at left side of control console ON
2. Worming up
- Pump switch on the manual control panel ON. Operate about 10-15 min
- Press AUTO SET UP key on the Auto Control Panel. At this time, ram
upward about 50 mm and downward until position ORIGIN lamp
illuminated and stops.
Procedure of manual operation after operating Hydraulic Pump
1. For circulate oil well, up or down ram about 50 mm. (Repeat return open
of loading knob 2-3 times).

2. Open loading knob.


3. Confirm light on of origin lamp, after upward ram about 10 mm.

This is hydraulic system universal material testing machine to perform
tensile, compression, bending, concrete 4 point bending and concrete
compression tests of metal materials and various industrial materials.
(bending, concrete 4 point bending and concrete compression test jig of
optimal accessories are necessary).
The testing machine has following features.
