Before knowing how many people use Omkar mineral water we asked to our 100 respondents about the mineral
water, whether they actually know about the mineral water or no and do they prefer drinking tap water or
mineral water. When we asked them why do they use mineral water we go to know that to keep their and their
family health safe as a reason of hygiene they use it and also as we know that now a days how the water is being
getting polluted. So to avoid all those disease causing from drinking water from anywhere available, the people
prefer for mineral water. Also we got to know that during the time of travelling, the people dont want to carry
lots of water nd make their journey uncomfortable instead they purchase the mineral water from the available
stores, drink the water and crush the water bottles. This even avoids the carriage of water and makes their
journey good. Form the survey we conducted we got to know that all the 100 people use mineral water. They
are aware of mineral water. And all of them use it.

As we got to know that people use mineral water so our next question is if you are using mineral water then
which of the brand you are using and our respondents told that some of them use one particular brand for one or
more specific reasons like taste, price, availability etc.. But some of them they wont particularly choose a
particular brand, as their basic need is only thirst so without much concentrating about the brand they just
purchase an available mineral water. From our survey we got to know that out of 100 respondents 40 of them
use Aquafina. As we conducted the survey in Dharwad the availability of Aquafina is more there because the
plant of Aquafina that is PepsiCo is situated in Dharwad. 26 people use Omkar brand, 24 people use Kinley
whereas 10 people use all the above brands that is they havent stick to one particular brand. They use the
mineral water as per their availability.

In this question we asked our respondents whether or not they are aware of mineral water or no because some
people might be unaware about some of the brands. As it might happen sometimes because of lack of publicity,
advertisements etc. From our survey we got to know that 91 % that is 91 people are aware of the Omkar
mineral water that is they know that a brand of mineral water name as Omkar is also available. And remaining
people that is 9 of them dont know that is they are not aware of the mineral water. It might be because of lack
of advertisements or they might have not checked with the other brands or also possibly Omkar wasnt available
in the shops from where they purchased the mineral water.

To know about a brand, its companys responsibility to see that it makes proper effort and correct decisions to
create the awareness of their brand by hoardings, pamphlets, advertisements etc. When we asked about the
awareness of the Omkar brands mineral water we came to knoe that 91 % people are aware but when we asked
about the efforts of company put to make the brand awareness then our respondents results was that 50 people
are satisfied with the awareness that had been made by the company whereas remaining 50 people also say that
they are not happy with the awareness created by the company about their brand that is Omkar mineral water.
This means that the company can still try to make an attempt of creating the awareness of their brand so that
much of the people get to know about Omkar mineral water.

To create the awareness of a brand we have many of the methods like promotional activity, advertisements,
increasing the availability of the product etc. Different people will be having different opinions for these
questions. Like one might say to increase the availability so that if product is available at all the place people
will get to know about the brand whereas others might feel that by advertisements, the people now a days are
much addicted to TVs, Internet etc. so from this they may become aware of the product and still many have
many opinions about this. From our survey we found that 39 people feel that promotional activity may increase
the awareness of the Omkar mineral water, 33 people feel awareness can be created by the advertisements
whereas 25 people feel it for increasing the availability of the Omkar mineral water may increase the awareness
of it.
