MENA-Water provides systems, services and equipments for the treatment of municipal wastewater.
The process includes physical, chemical and
biological treatment. As the requirement of water
quality has become more rigid, its more important to produce cleaner effluents of wastewater.

of conventional secondary biological treatment
for further stabilization of oxygen-demanding
substances in wastewater or removing nitrogen
and phosphorus.

Containerized Solutions
Our containerized package plants are turn-key
solutions for wastewater, drinking water and
mobile sludge dewatering.
The systems are modular to be extendable and
movable. The equipment for the complete
treatment process is pre-assembled in standard

ISO containers to facilitate easy transport, quick

delivery and installation with minimum on-site
construction. Our containerized solution support
up to 20,000 people per container.

Sludge Treatment
Sludge is a by-product of wastewater treatment
and industrial processes. This material may be
contaminated with toxic organic and inorganic
compounds. Coarse primary solids and secondary
bio solids accumulated in a wastewater treatment
process must be treated to be disposed of in a safe

and effective way.

MENA-Water offers complete solutions for sludge
treatment comprising thickening, dewatering and
sludge drying. We also offer fully containerized
and mobile sludge systems.

Renewable Energy
Many industries and municipalities are spending a
lot of money for disposal of their waste products.
But instead to dump it in landfill the organic waste
can be treated through digestion to get electrical
and thermal energy and high quality fertilizer.

connected to electric network, the use of solar or

Secondary Treatment
Secondary treatment is mainly used to remove
small organic substances from the waste water.
The products for this treatment are aerators,
mixers, scrapers and others. This utilization
reduces up to 90 percent of the organic matter
in wastewater.

Package Plants
These are turn-key solutions for water, wastewater and sludge treatment.
On site the installation requires only short time
with minimum civil work, piping and cabling.
This allows quick realization. All the plants are
easy to extend with additional units or
movable to new locations.
For treatment of wastewater we offer MBR
Package Plants. This package plant is a modular
Membrane Bio Reactor plant suitable for
municipal or industrial wastewater treatment.
All the treatment process sections including
wastewater holding tank, anoxic tank, aeration
tank and membrane tank are integrated in ISO
standard containers. The effluent reaches a
quality which can be directly used for irrigation
without any further treatment.

Product Groups
Sludge Treatment
Sludge is produced during the treatment of water. This is
inherently so because a primary aim of water treatment is
removing solids. In addition, soluble organic substances are
converted to bacterial cells and the latter is removed from
the wastewater. These solids must be treated through
thickening, dewatering and/or drying to be disposed of in
safe and effective way.

organic waste digestion and independent energy supply for
equipment in isolated areas. We give ideas how to produce
from organic waste energy through biogas co-generators. As
