Able to hit the ground running and provide creative design and fast, accurate pre-press production. Excellent
management and trafficking skills ensure projects are delivered on brief and on budget. Working with high
profile blue chip companies, I endeavour to exceed client expectation with clean, crafted design.

Achievements
Established, trained and motivated a team of 10 designers, enabling the company to diversify its creative
services and directly influence significant wins in several major blue chip accounts worth over 700k, notably
Pfizer, Roche and AstraZeneca.

Successfully instituted guidelines and procedures, including an in-house document detailing timelines and
costs for a variety of print media, which enabled the commercial team to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and
understanding to clients at pitch level.

Professional Experience
Graphic Designer: Amiculum Business Limited. Worked alongside the Interactive Team providing front end web
designs as well as 2d pre-press projects.

Studio Manager: Prime Medica. Responsible for leading a team of designers in the creation, design and
execution of all projects. Always involved with the conceptual process in a hands on capacity, alongside
briefing, monitoring and approving work from design to artwork and ensuring budgets and deadlines are met.

Freelance Designer: Concepts, mac and marker visuals to finished pre-press artwork.

Head of Design: Adelphi Creative Media. Headed up a team of 10 designers and production staff, overseeing
the creative output, retaining a hands-on approach and leading by example. Involved in the entire design
process from start-up meetings to presentation, ensuring that the team delivered an average annual business of
circa 200k.

Design Manager: Adelphi Communications. Responsible for the quality and creativity of the design and
production output. Increased responsibility for building, motivating and mentoring a team.

Senior Designer: Baseline Graphics. Working with the Creative Director, initially producing marker visuals, this
developed into a Mac-based role. Liaising closely with clients at all stages of development, designed and
produced a range of B2B projects from conception to completion.

Education and Training:

Educated to degree level at Leeds University achieving a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design
“Presentation Skills” – 2 day course enabling me to become a more effective communicator
“Managing Conflict within the Workplace”, – 2 day course designed to help managers get the best from their
colleagues with ongoing feedback and mentoring skills.
