Hi Ambika,
Basically it whole depends upon which type of data you are willing to load.
When you are willing to load day by day data means you are willing to analyse data perodically than set your Model to "Periodic".
However If your data from the source system comes in year to date form than you must set your Model to "YTD".
Normally, For Planning and its related Model we use "Periodic" and for Consolidation we use "YTD".
Say for example:

1) Periodic Calculation: We have Opening Balance $100 in the system and $50 were added during the period. In periodic calculation $50 wi

For a User to access BPC 10.0 should have the below two roles assigned in BW:
/POA/BUI_FLEX_CLIENT
/POA/BUI_UM_USER

Turns out that in our case, the standard /POA/ roles as provided by SAP had been edited and no longer provided the prerequi

I would try two things:

Check your BW roles /POA/BUI_UM_USER and /POA/BUI_FLEX_CLIENT
They should offer at a minimum the following:

If these are correct, then it will be BPC authorisations that are stopping the test user from being able to reach BPC. Check th
to your environment and assigned a Team and Task Profile that gives the necessary BPC level Auths to access the Web Client
check that these have been properly generated in their User Profile in BW.

Goto tcode RSPC and select /CPMB/LIGHT_OPTIMIZE . From the displayed process chain select process Collapse and double click on it.
process asProcess display:Compression of infocube.
Press Ctrl+F1 to change it to change mode.
Check Switch on Zero Eliminationand save.
This option will delete all zero records during compression.
