PARISH MASS BOOKS We are now using Volume 2 of the new Mass books for Year B. As
with Year A and Year C, books if you would like to donate 1.95 for one of these books, or
7.95 for the large print books, please feel free to do so, and we will enter into the book a
dedication for your intention. Just put into an envelope the offering and the name(s) you wish
inscribed in the book(s) and hand to Yvonne: for a deceased person please add 'RIP' to the
name or names; for someone alive, please add 'Intention'
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT every Monday at Our Lady of Peace from
7.00pm to 8.00pm. All welcome to join in Contemplating the Face of Christ through prayer,
praise and stillness. There is also Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with Worship, Scripture,
Silence and Divine Mercy Prayer at St Andrews every Thursday from 8.30am 9.30am. All
welcome.
DATES FOR YOUR DIARIES
CWL Monday 1st June, Walk in Cliveden. Meet outside Our Lady of Peace at 11.00am and
share lifts. Lunch at the Orangery where you can buy food or bring a packed lunch. Also on
Monday 13th June, at 2.00pm in St Andrew's they will be holding their Branch meeting with
visiting committee members and speaker from the Slough Food Bank. Please bring food to
share for the tea.
CONFIRMATION PROGRAM Vigil with Sacrament of Reconciliation and rehearsal on Tuesday,
9th June at 7.00pm in OUR LADY OF PEACE Church. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be
conferred by Bishop Peter this year on Tuesday, 23rd June at 7.30pm in Our Lady of Peace.

BAPTISM PREPARATION COURSE The next Baptism Preparation course that Deacon Marek
will be running begins on Wednesday, 3rd June at 6.00pm and will be held in the Sacristy at Our
Lady of Peace. If you wish for your child to be Baptised over the next few months, you will need
to attend the course. This is especially important for first time parents. If you have not already
advised that you will be attending, please contact Yvonne on 01628 605764.
OUR LADY OF PEACE INFANT AND JUNIOR SCHOOL Summer Fete is being held on
Saturday 6th June, from 12noon 3.00pm. If you can help in any way please contact the Schools
on 01628 666715 (Junior) or 01628 661886 (Infants). Donations will be gratefully received.
DAY RETREAT MISSION RENEWAL A day retreat has been organised on the 13th June to
enable us to reflect and meditate on our Mission experience with the Sion Community last year.
The retreat will be led by Fr Simon Penhalagan at the Bridgettine Convent, Iver Heath. The cost
of the retreat is 25.00 to include lunch. Please advise Bob Bryant on 01628 543650 if you
intend to go as we need to know numbers for catering. The theme is Trust, Surrender, Believe,

ST ANTHONYS SUMMER FETE Saturday, 13th June, 12noon 4.00pm. Join them for a fun
filled day, lots of activities for young and old alike including : Music, games, refreshments,
raffles/tombolas, craft stalls and many more. Entrance fee for adults 2, includes entry to a raffle
draw, children free.
CATHOLIC MIRACLE RALLY with Cor et Lumen Christi Community, Saturday 13th - Sunday

WINTERSHALL THE LIFE OF CHRIST Saturday, 27th June. The greatest story of all time,
movingly recreated by a cast of over 200 authentic detail, outstanding quality sound and music
the Life of Christ is an experience not to be missed. It is both educational and entertaining,
amusing and serious. Running from 10.00am to 4.00pm, this is a promenade performance in
three acts with a brief interval, which takes you back in time to Palestine of Jesus day. See

BURNHAM LIGHTHOUSE the Christian run holiday club, will run from Monday, 27th July to
Friday, 31st July. The craft team at Burnham Lighthouse are collecting the following items: Clean
Jam/Pickle/ Chutney Jars - labels and lids removed. Flattened Cereal Boxes. Cotton Wool.
Embellishments-beads, sequins, glitter etc. Christmas Wrapping Paper. This years theme is
Christmas, so any festive bits and pieces will be gratefully received. Please leave in the box in
