CCRA.W.6: Use technology, including the Internet, to produce and publish writing and to interact and collaborate with others Reading/Language Arts & Technology Projector Website www.wordle.net Notebook paper Computer for each student (or group of students) Adjectives Wordle Ranking Thesaurus Students will make a list of the top 10 adjectives they would use to describe their teacher. Students will rank them as well. (#10 is most important adjective, while #1 is the least important). Students will then pair up with another student, working together the pair will develop one list using the information on their separate lists. Students will choose 2 of the adjectives on their list to look up in the thesaurus and use words from the thesaurus to replace them. Students will type their adjectives into the computer, using the ranking system as the number of times they will type the word (this is so that they can see how the most important will be larger in the wordle than the least important).
