The vast majority of boiler tubing in most boilers is of the low carbon variety. When temperature ranges
are near the critical points for low carbon, medium carbon or carbon molybdenum steels with higher yield
strengths may be required to give added protection and comply with applicable codes. Elevated
temperatures and the corrosive and high abrasive properties of certain fuels in high-output boilers
