FIRST DAY:Read the notes with Scripture references.
1. What truth about God did you receive from the lecture, and how will you apply it to your current circumstances?
3. a. What had the Lord told Moses about the 10th plague on Pharaoh and Egypt? (See Exodus 11.)
The Lord was to bring one more plague afterward Pharaoh will let them go from Egypt. When he let them go, he will surely
drive them out of Egypt altogether.
b. What did Moses tell Pharaoh?
About midnight God will go out into the midst of Egypt and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn
of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant who is behind the handmill.
c. How did Pharaoh respond to Moses warning?
Pharaoh harden his heart and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
4. a. From Exodus 12, briefly give the Lords instructions about the Passover.
b. Why did the Lord call this the Passover? Give a verse or verses to support your answer.
Verse 13- The Lord was to pass over the houses of the children of Israel once He see the blood on the door posts.
c. Read John 1:29; 1 Corinthians 5:7. How is Jesus Christ the true Passover Lamb?
Jesus took away our sins that we may be saved from death.
d. Have you received Christ as your Passover Lamb?
Yes.
THIRD DAY:Read Exodus 12:31-13:16.
b. Read Numbers 3:13; 8:17. When did God set apart the firstborn in Israel for Himself?
c. What does this tell you about Gods relationship with Israel? See Exodus 4:22.
d. How does your life demonstrate that you are set apart for God?
7. Why were instructions about the celebration of the Passover by foreigners necessary?
10. a. What words or phrases from Moses song to the Lord do you find most meaningful? Give verse numbers.
b. Write words or phrases of your own that describe God and how He has helped you.
c. How could you demonstrate your thankfulness to God for His help?
11. a. Because of Gods unfailing love and strength, what did Moses predict God would do for Israel in the future?
