Year 6 pupils have visited Bradford University and attended the Jobs Skills fair at Bradford College
The Cadets and 2 Olympians have also visited Class 5 and 6 focussing on raising aspirations
Year 6 recall evening took place where present year 6 pupils had the opportunity to discuss concerns with pupils
who left our school last year
A Range of visitors from different professions are booked in for transition week with Year 6

Maths and Writing books were scrutinised at the beginning of the year and individual feedback given to teachers
Updates:
Both sets of books were scrutinised again during the developmental review and feedback given
Both sets of books were scrutinised again in January and a marked improvement in all classes was acknowledged. SLT are
now confident that marking and feedback is improving and sound
Chris Quigley training was attended by all teachers. Staff have all written action plans as a result. These will now be
collated and discussed at a staff meeting. The impact of this will be monitored after half term.
A reflection on current planning grids/formats will also be carried out as a result of the actions from Chris Quigley
The curriculum outcome to excite and engage pupils this term and has been planned as a digital showcase. Throughout the
term pupils will prepare for this by creating videos, entering a photography competition and creating resources to support
e-safety.
