PLEASE TELL ME ALL YOU KNOW CONCERNING YOUR MISSING SON.

HOW WOULD YOU EXPLAIN THIS? PLEASE WRITE IN DETAIL YOUR IDEAS THAT WOULD ACCOUNT FOR
HIS MISSING?

#1.) He was last seen by my wife on 6/14/14 (Saturday) at about 2030 hrs/2100 or so.
#2.) my wife called me at about 2145 hrs to tell me that Charlie was gone again, and that she had looked
around the whole house and didnt see him, so yes she was sure that he had left.
#3) I called 911 as I was heading home from my office which I did immediately upon hearing the news
from my wife.
#4) He has been gone for 3 days now, and we (wife, other family, friends, neighbors, etc.) have been
doing everything we can think of to try to find my son.
#5) He was under pressure from me because I had given him an ultimatum, after failing the fifth grade,
while living with his mother, I had begun home schooling him to get him caught-up after he had failed to
correct his lack of academic performance when I had enrolled him in a second public school.
#6) I had informed him in no uncertain terms that since we had made progress and corrected his
academic underperformance in large part

that home schooling will be over effective August 2014. I informed him that he would be in public or
private school nearby if his behavior was in order; but if not, we will be in boarding school and/or
military school.
#7) He was still struggling with correcting the behavior piece of his progress, so he was concerned about
how things were going to work out for him.
#8) My son had made significant improvement on his behavior, but since he had so far to go in
correcting his personal behavior he was not certain where he would end up in school in two months, but
what I emphatically and unambiguously made clear to him was under no circumstances would we be
doing a continuation of home schooling!
#9) I dont know where he is at, and I dont have any solid leads or direction that I can help provide to
everybody to find him. I have a number of loose suspicions, but nothing solid that I can really offer.
How would you explain this?
-My son ran away again; and I want your help (law enforcement) in finding him ASAP!

IF YOU WERE GOING TO CONDUCT THIS INVESTIGATION, HOW WOULD DO IT?

If I were going to conduct this investigation I would thoroughly look into the following:
-1) my neighbor Neil
-2) My sons mothers cousins, extended family, and teenagers from their neighborhood that Charlie
may have had contact with.
-3) Africas son Ricos fathers kids and their friends and acquaintances. Charlie spent a lot of time with
these kids and their friends when he visited with his mother, but other than the fact that many of them
are teenagers and /or young adults, I dont know much about them.
*4) This seemingly transient substitute teacher that I do not know, and who has no (known by me)
connection to my son, that falsely tried to get the search for my son called off by reporting to one of the
search venues that he had been found.
-5) Check the Martin Luther King Homes.
-6) My neighbor that called his mother and me sounding aphasic/impaired in some way. Because she
reportedly-according to my older sister presented w/o any of that when they spoke with her today.
7) Canvass his mothers neighborhood.
-8) Canvass my neighborhood
-9) Have myself and my wife do lie detector test immediately so that we can silence some of the people
automatically think that the parents had something to do with it.
-10) Put his mother (Africa) and her cousins, nieces and nephews on lie detectors immediately too. *
Some of them were not and have not been witnessed by me as being present during this ordeal.
-11) Get a hold of Rico (Africas) youngest sons father) and his teenage/young adult child, and all of
their teenage friends and question them and put them on lie detector exams.
-12) Thoroughly canvass and search the blocks on both sides (east and west) of his mothers house,
because the last time he ran away (about 2 years ago) this is where the police found him.
-13) Check all video cameras in the vicinity of my house, (2) his mothers house, (3) and the area in
between.
-14) Keep up the press coverage to not only get the word out, but * also to put pressure on anyone that
may be harboring him to cease and desist.
-15) Get the word out about the $1,000 reward that I have offered, and help me with raising more
money for the effort.
-16) Search my CPU that is only partially functioning, but that still has recoverable data for any clues
17) Have officers also get on the media and make a plea for my sons safe return.
-18) Continue helping us get the story out to the media.

-19) Fully question my wife and I so that you can clear us quickly in your investigation and be able to
announce to the press/media that we are not suspects, so that everyones attention can be focused on
pursing efforts and or leads that will result in the safe return of my son.
-20) Check the police reports for any information on similar disappearances in my area, & his mothers
area.
-21) Give me advice on things to do to help get my son home.
-22) Give me the direct cell phone number of someone that I can call as I think of more ideals on how to
get my son home safely.
-23) Call me as you develop any new ideas/ways that I might be able to help.
-24) Call me any time day or night without hesitation if/as you come up with questions that I might be
able to answer that might help.

LIST THE (5) IMPORTANT CAUSES THAT *COULD HAVE CREATED THIS SITUATION? *

1.) My sons behavior: we found out later that he actually did pee in the garbage cans that Neil and
many others suspected him of doing. We also found out from my son (after days/weeks?)of
lying that he in fact did set the trash fires that were started in the tunnel at our home. (The
newsletter and fire department report according to what we read in the newsletter practically
said that our son did, because it was stated that it looked like a child did it ** my child is the
only one in the building. *** also, my son tried to burn down our home twice (my wife only
knows about once) and left us with an electrical fire that I was miraculously (and barely
believable to me) able to put out. The neighbors might suspect something on this note as well
if they ended up on this note as well if they ended up with unexplained electrical fire damage. I
heard Neil having allot of work done in his apartment that may/may not have been r/t the
damage that was done by my son. These things, and more definitely did not make him adored
my all at the complex/in our community.
2.) My son never got pushed hard enough when he was at his mothers house to do even an hour
or two, worth of school work, or to do his work-out. Im not saying his mother (Africa) didnt
mean well; or that she did not try, but I literally almost never got the results. Even after years of
effort he would go over to his mothers/her family and do zero and/or next to zero work! (OVER)

DESCRIBE IN DETAIL YOUR DAY ON THE DAY THAT YOUR SON WENT MISSING, COVERING FROM
THE TIME YOU WOKE UP UNTIL THE TIME YOU WENT TO SLEEP?

I am trying to remember for certain if/when I came home Friday night after I had gone with my
patient (Terry Froehner) to have surgery. (My has died in this room now so I cant check my
text/call logs at the moment) I left early Saturday morning though if I didnt spend the night at

the office, and went to my office and worked all day, I was not planning on coming home with
the wee hours of Sunday morning, and only then because it was going to be fathers day. I had
an Adobe Acrobat fillable form that I was working to create and incorporate several documents
(medical/legal/administrative) into in order to facilitate the emplacement of a streamlined and
efficient process for a para-legal that I was contracting with that was going to be starting
Monday. I had decided that I would do no work on Fathers Day and only spend time with my
children, so I had to finish this by late Saturday/wee hours of Sunday morning.
However, at about 2145 hrs I got the call from my wife that my son had gone missing again, and
my 2150 hours I was in my car and on the phone with 911 as I rushed to my house. I called his
mother (Africa) along the way
and informed her that Charlie had gone missing, that the police had been called, and that I was
enroute to my house. Africa said that she would meet me there (at my house).
-We met at my house and proceeded to go looking for Charlie together when she arrived, before
Africa arrived I had searched my entire house thoroughly again even though wife had already
done the same, and I had began searching the neighborhood on foot. Africa and I began
searching together when she got there (on foot, and mostly riding in her car though); and then
Monique called us when the police arrived at my house so Africa and I went back to my house to
meet with the police. After meeting with the police, we went back to searching (we rode in
Africas car). Midnight passed at some point along the way here but the day did not end for me.
Africa and I kept searching until roughly/ maybe/about/possibly 3 am or so we then went back
to my house and prepared a missing person flyer on the computer and headed out with
hundreds of copies that I had made. We headed out at first light and did not
did not stop posting and passing out flyers for the entire day of the holiday. Somewhere along
the line earlier when we were still back at the house, Monique had suggested and initiated
contacting the National for Missing and Exploited Children. Later in the day on Sunday Africa
and I had gone to the 7th district/precinct (?) ((on Nevada)) and ended up meeting with an
officer Bryant who was actually part of the eleventh, but who very kindly and caringly tried to
help me find my son anyway by calling metro pcs and trying to help me find out if my missing
company cell phone had been at/near my house when some incoming/outgoing calls were
made. This would have let me know whether or not my son was the one who had been using
the or if this was just a coincidence and in fact not a viable lead, my mother and my little sister
and niece and nephew. Had shown up at my house somewhere along the way and my mother
had rode to the police station with Africa and I. Africa and I had also gone to my office to make
more fliers, and met up with some of her family on Jefferson during the day on Sunday as we
were canvassing.

Possibly: because if Charlie ran away again because he was afraid of possibly having to go to
boarding school if his behavior didnt improve in line with the academic and health gains
that he had made, that pressure was coming directly from me.

I stated to Charlie in clear, unambiguous, and in unwavering terms the home schooling is
over no matter what he does/does not do over the next two months! I further laid down an
ultimatum to him in a sense, because I stated to him that he will be in public or private
school in two months when classes begin again iff his behavior exhibited over the next two
months showed improve consistent with the other improvements he has made, but if not,
then he will be at boarding or military school. I made it clear that home schooling is over

This question is moot because I have been truthful.

Frustration because some of this is insulting like the question above, but understanding
because I realize that it is necessary; but hopeful more than anything that it will help.

A little bit, because you always see on these TV shows how the family often gets
blamed, even when they are innocent like us. But my love for my son and my hope for
his safe return is orders of magnitude greater than any unreasonable fears I may have
because of TV.
7) DID YOU EVER DISCUSS THE POSSIBILITY AND REASONS FOR THE MISSING OF
CHARLIE?
That is all that I have been talking about with family, friends, law enforcement, and the
media!

HOW MUCH WOULD YOU PAY?
I have already put out to the media and told law enforcement that I am offering a
$1,000 reward for information leading to his recovery, and I will be upping it as soon as I
get more cash in. There is no limit on cash that I would give up for my sons return, only

My son is a 12 year old African American Male. He was being homeschooled due to behavioral
and academic issues, as well as failure to assist us as parents by the Detroit Public school system, namely
Chrysler Elementary School in Detroit. The ideas that would account for my son Charlie to be missing, is
that he did not want to talk to his father in regards to disobeying his instructions, which he knew he was
to follow. Charlie knew that he had been caught lying by me in regards to short changing his assigned
work out regimine, and that his father knew, due to the picture I sent him of the digital screen read out
of the elliptical machine. Charlie heard me snap the picture as he walked upstairs, which I wanted him to
her so he knew that I was aware of his infraction and that his father would be notified. It is my belief
that Charlie no longer wanted to talk to his Dad about him being in trouble, and rather be lectured
about respect and personal responsibility, he would rather leave. I know that Charlie was unhappy being
home schooled, however I overheard him tell his dad he was looking forward to going back to school like
they talked about.

If I was to conduct this investigation, I would look into his maternal side of the family, as that is
where his primary social life/circle was. Charlie is often at friends and cousins houses during his times
with his mother, as well as the fathers of his younger and older brothers, where he would spend the
night occasionally. I would also take a look into the Martin Luther King Homes, as they are on the direct
route to his mothers house and are known to be a hand out/residence of drug dealers and gangs. They
could be harboring him or hurting him, and this thought is terrifying. I would conduct a raid on these
areas, as well as question the fathers of his two brothers, his oldest brother, as well as any cousins,
family or close family friends on his mothers side.

TIME YOU WOKE UP UNTIL THE TIME YOU WENT TO SLEEP?
On the morning of Saturday, June 14, 2014, after waking up around 4:30 am to nurse my 9
month old daughter in bed, I fell back asleep and woke up on my own around 6:15 am. When I awoke,
there was a light in the hallway, and my husband had already left the house. I went into the hallway to
head to the bathroom, and Charlie was in front of the hallway mirror, doing his (worl) bicep curls as part
of his workout routine. After I finished relieving myself, I checked on my children Luc 4 yrs old, and Lilli-9
months who were asleep, and took Lilliss evening bottle downstairs to the kitchen to wash and sanitize
her bottles for the day, as well as make up a bottle of formula for when she woke up. As I was washing,
Charlie finished his weight routine upstairs, & came downstairs to do his routine on his Ab Coaster. I
continued to wash and place the bottle sanitizer in the microwave for 4 minutes-per instructions, then
went upstairs to make sure Lilli was still asleep, which she was. At approx. 7:15, I went upstairs to see
Lilli stirring, brought her down stairs & give her a warmed bottle of formula. Luc came downstairs maybe
around 7:35 a.m., during which time Charlie was finishing his work out, and heading upstairs to take his
shower, as usual. The day proceeded normally, with Charlie emptying the dishwasher (from) with the
clean dishes from the previous night, and washing the few leftover before bed. Lilli was asleep in her
rocker and Luc was playing w/his iPod. After Charlie finished w/the dishes he went upstairs to do school
work and I worked on my laptop for my husband. Around 11:30 am, Charlie asked me if he could fix
some lunch, and I told him sure, go ahead and fix you a couple of peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. I
continued to work on computer, feed Lilli bottles as needed, as well as give Luc lunch of quesadilla w/
cheese and several snacks of freeze pops. I took some chicken wings out to thaw at around 2:00 pm,
changed Lilli and Lucs diapers upstairs and continued to work on the computer. I took a break around
2:45-3:00 where I ate a peanut butter & jelly sandwich and watched ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK on my
computer, using my free trial on NETFLIX Charlie worked upstairs at his desk, I assume, as I was
downstairs. Around 4:30pm, I begin to cook the wings in batches in our Nu-Wave oven. Charlie usually
has an afternoon work out, however I cant recall if he did it that day or if the afternoon workout was
reserved for the weekdays only. I continued on my day making bottles for Lilli, feeding Luc, calming
tantrums, changing diapers and working on the computer while the food cooked. Around 5:45, I took a
load of my whites to the basement to wash, Charlie was upstairs at his desk. At around 6:15 pm Charlie
began the elliptical part of his work out, having done the weights portion downstairs w/me and the
babies, Lilli & Luc in front of the mirror in the dining room while I worked on the computer. (For) Before
he (got on the elliptical at around 6:15 pm he removed his) did his weights, he removed his dark red teeshirt, and before he got on the elliptical, he rolled up his pajama pants, put on his black pair of Jordan
gym shoes & proceeded to work out. Luc continued to play on his iPod, read his books and play on his
scooter or look out the window. I went into the kitchen to finish preparing dinner. I placed the chicken in
the Nu-Wave in the oven to finish cooking and placed the remaining wings in the Nu-Wave to cook.
During this time I could hear the woosh-woosh of Charlie on the elliptical machine. As I was checking
on the chicken in the oven, I noticed the wooshing stop, I peeked my head outsold the kitchen taking a
quick glance at the clock, noticing it was around 7:23 pm. I saw Charlie removing the barrier of barbells
& shoes/shoe tray that he devised to stop my daughter from touching the elliptical in motion while shes
in her walker. (I) Feeling that his work out was shorter than usual, I told him to not worry about
removing the barrier, I had it, as I knew he always removed it when he was finished, he then
proceeded to bund upstairs. As he was heading up, I took a picture of the digital elliptical screen read
out and sent it to my husband while in the kitchen. While in the kitchen, I heard the elliptical machine

going and I came out and asked Charlie I thought you were done. He answered, No I just had to take
a poop break. He continued on the elliptical until he had completed his 4,000 revolutions, from the
3,008 when he stopped, and I sent my husband the picture of the screen around 7:27 pm After Charlie
had finished, I asked him why he lied about stopping and told him not to give me any of his go-to
answers of no reason, I dont know, (and) or confused silence. I presented him with the evidence
of his lies, told him I knew when he started to remove the barrier that he was planning on being
finished, that I didnt believe his poop story for a second, and that I knew he heard me take the
picture because I wanted him to know that I knew what he was doing. I asked him why did he cut his
work out short, & he replied that he didnt think I would notice, he didnt think I would check, and when
he heard me take the picture, he knew I was going to tell his father. But why (?) Charlie? I asked, Why
did you do that when Im here? You would never cut your workout short if it was just you and your
father, but when its just you and me, you have no problem doing it.: I continued, Of course I knew how
many revolutions you had to do, its my job to know [I confirmed his 4,000 revolutions w/his father
when I sent the picture]. He stammered I.I a few times, I cut him off by saying, You know what,
Charlie, I dont want to hear it, Ill just let your father talk to you. I sighed and told him to just go
upstairs and take his shower. During this conversation, I was holding my daughter on my lap. After I sent
him off to the shower, I patted Lilli on the butt, noticed she was wet, but placed her in her bouncer so I
could remove the chicken from the oven so it wouldnt burn. During this time Lilli & Luc began loudly
babbling/screeching and after I was done w/the chicken in the oven, I picked up Lilli, & told Luc to come
on so I could change his diaper. Lilli & Luc continued to babble/screech upstairs & continued while I was
changing theyre diapers in the nursery w/my back to the door. I returned downstairs w/the babies,
fixed Charlie a plate for dinner & placed it in the microwave for him after his shower as was our routine.
I continued in the kitchen, fixing Lilli a bottle & bringing Luc a wing while his quesadilla cooked. As I was
feeding Lilli at the computer, I looked at the clock & noticed it was close to 9:30 pm I wondered what
was taking him so long so I took Lilli upstairs to find out what was up. As I got upstairs, it was then I
noticed the bathroom door was open, & the lights were off. The lights in his room was off as well, when
I went in & tried to turn on the lamp the light bulb did not work. I looked in the nursery & my bedroom,
then I went downstairs & looked in the guest bathroom, kitchen, hallway closet & basement & laundry
room. The 2x4 was on the tunnel door, so I knew he wasnt out there, & I make my way upstairs to do a
second sweep, I called my husband, & told him Charlies gone He said hed be right there, & was home
w/in 15 min. When he returned, he did a sweep of the house, with the flashlight that I used for my
second seep, & told me he had called the police & that Charlies mother was on her way. While he was
gone, I dressed the babies for bed, fed Lilli a bottle, & put them both to sleep. The doorbell rang around
11:00pm & there were 2 officers at my door. I let them in, & they proceeded to ask me what happened,
and I told them. They asked for a description of what he was wearing & I told them a pair of grey pajama
pants w/black silhouettes & green lines, A dark red t-shirt, and I didnt know what shoes because all of
the shoes that I knew him to wear, were still in the house. I told (him) the officer that his black Phat farm
mid-length winter coat was missing and that it had a large red outline of an academic font P on the
back & it was hooded. I noticed the coat missing during my second sweep. My husband & Africa [Charlie
Bothuell Vs mother] returned during this time and spoke with the officers about why they think Charlie
left, who he knew in the area & if hes done it before. My husband told them about the elliptical
picture/cutting his work out short, that his mother was the closet person he knew in the area, & that he
had ran away 2 yrs previous & went straight to his mothers house & was found in a matter of hours & it
was during daylight hours. The officers left to canvas over in Charlies mothers house/neighborhood,

and Africa & Charlie left as well. AS this was around 12:20 am, I returned to the room with my children &
fell asleep & was awaked at 1:00am by the same officers, who asked me had he come back, and I said
no. The officers asked me if he had any friends in the area, or girlfriends. I told him no friends in area, or
girlfriend that we were aware of. Africa & Charlie came back & we discussed how Charlie only behaves
when his father is around, but not when its just I, or his mother. The officers left and Charlie and I went
to bed discussing what happened and how the police would bring him home. NOTE: Before the officers
left for 2nd time officer, Officer J. Fullilove (?) took notes in a memo pad and said he would get a report
and go back to his higher-ups to see who was going to be assigned to the case.
