The CAESAR II Video Libraries

(Full access is included in both the Premium and Standard Subscriptions)

Our online video libraries let you learn any lesson in any order, so now you can explore
CAESAR II and pipe stress analysis training your own way! Start with what interests you most
and follow that with other topics as you like.

Every Six Weeks - Another New Lesson Will be Uploaded!

Our current video library lessons include 33 CAESAR II Fundamentals videos and 38
Statics videos, with over 400 pages of written lessons you can download and print.
Here are some of the topics: Designing Hangers, Optimizing Hanger Selection, Adding a
Wind Load, Reducing Loads Around Pump Nozzles, Seeing How CAESAR II and the Piping
Codes Calculate Stresses, Advanced Modeling Exercise - Turbine Design using NEMA
SM23 and Modifying the System to Increase Flexibility, plus 4 lessons based on the
problems found in the ASME B31.3 Piping Code, Appendix S! We'll continue to add new
content to these libraries throughout the year, so you can continue to expand your
knowledge of pipe stress analysis and CAESAR II software over time.

Future topics will include: The Stiffness Method (How CAESAR II Using a Stiffness Matrix
to Solve Stresses, Displacements, etc.), Non-Linear, Buried Pipe, Modeling, Piping Codes,
Stress Intensification Factors, Advanced Modeling - Equipment and Expansion Joints
(shown above), the Quick Build Example, Working with API 610, Restraints, Load Cases,
Occasional Loads, Designing for Strain, Designing for Load, Dynamics topics, and much
more!

The CAESAR II Statics One Course

The CAESAR II Statics One course is designed for users who want to advance their
knowledge of pipe stress analysis and CAESAR II software. This course was written by
David Diehl, the Director of Training at the Intergraph Corporation. With over 30 years of
experience in engineering and teaching CAESAR II software Mr. Diehl takes you step-by-step
through a number of advanced topics and design techniques using CAESAR II software.
The course consists of 5 lessons, 38 videos, and a 200+ page lesson guide. Topics
include: Designing Hangers, Optimizing Hanger Selection, Reducing Loads Around Turbine
Nozzles, Seeing How CAESAR II and the Piping Codes Calculate Stresses, and an Advanced
Modeling Exercise - Turbine Design using NEMA SM23 and Modifying the Design to Increase
Flexibility. A certificate of completion is issued upon successfully completing all course
requirements.

As other video training lessons get added to our CAESAR II video libraries (a new one will be
released every 6 weeks) additional CAESAR II Statics courses will become available.
