KUKA Sunrise
The Control System of the Future.
The KUKA LBR iiwa has a sensitive touch, feels its way
toward objects, allows itself to be pushed away by people,
and withdraws from them automatically when people touch
it. It is equipped with mechanical systems and drive
technolgy for industrial applications and utmost efficiency.
The LBR iiwa is:
Flexible: Its 7 axes provide human-like motion capabilities.
Sensitive: The torque sensors in each axis enable haptic
solutions.
Safe: It enables innovative cooperation between humans
and machines.
The LBR iiwa is easy to program:
C++, Java or any other code language can be used opening
up new areas of application in the vicinity of humans that
were previously off-limits for robots.
KUKA Sunrise.Connectivity
High-Level Sensor Integration.
Combining sensor technology and motion.
Sensor integration is made easy through our
standardized interfaces, enabling the implementation of, for example, visual servoing and haptic
rendering applications. It is possible to directly influence
the robot path from the robot application context.
With KUKA Sunrise.Connectivity you can realize hard realtime and deterministic tasks by using our deterministic
open remote interface to expand your possibilities.
