B.A.(Prog.) and B.Com
2015-16
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES FOR FILLING PRE-ADMISSION OMR FORM

1. The Pre-admission OMR form is applicable to all candidates including


General/OBC/SC/ST/PwD. This Pre-admission OMR form is valid for all Teaching
Centres for undergraduate courses listed in the OMR. The candidates are advised to
fill the form carefully. Incomplete forms will be rejected.
2. B.A. (Prog.) and B.Com courses are available in all the teaching centres of NCWEB
for which registration is done through Pre-admission form.
3. 1 to 10 boxes should be filled appropriately and correctly in the Pre-admission form.
4. No fee is required to be deposited while submitting the form.
5. The Pre-admission OMR form can be bought along with admission pamphlet
between 8.6.2015 to 24.6.2015 from four Teaching Centres namely Kalindi
College, S.P.M College, Maharaja Agrasen College and PGDAV College (Table 3 in
the OMR form). It is not necessary to submit the OMR form at the centre from
where it was purchased.
6. No Photocopies of certificates/documents or photographs are to be attached with
the Pre-admission OMR form.
7. The Pre-admission OMR form is printed on a special paper and the information
given by the candidates will be scanned. The candidates are advised to fill this form
carefully. The scanner rejects mutilated and damaged forms.
8. Information or data furnished on this Pre-admission OMR form is the sole
responsibility of the applicant. Application form of candidate who do not fulfill the
eligibility criteria/any discrepancy found at any time, will be cancelled.
9. Use only Blue or Black ball point pen to fill the OMR form.

10. Select the college(s) and course of study that you would like to pursue by
darkening appropriate bubble from the list of colleges given in (point 4 in the OMR
form). The bubbles must be darkened properly.
11. The Pre-admission OMR form has two sides. After filling it, the student should
take photocopy of the form on a single page i.e. both sides. Submit the form to any of
the designated centres (Table 3 in the OMR form) and get the stamped photocopy as
the acknowledgement.
12. The candidate must ensure the following in order to avoid rejection of form:
(a) The form is not folded, crumpled or mutilated in any manner.
(b) No marks should be made anywhere except wherever required.
(c) The black marks on the margin of the OMR form are important. They should not be
tampered with marker under any circumstances.
(d) Fill marks (max. and obtained) in the five boxes (point no.10). The subject codes
are given in Table 2 in the OMR form.
13. This is only a Pre-admission form. Submission does not guarantee admission.
Admission will be granted by Teaching Centres subject to fulfillment of prescribed
eligibility criteria.

It is suggested that the students may take admission in a college near their
residence, if possible.
Any discrepancy found at any stage, in any of the documents submitted by
the student will result in cancellation of admission.

Admission Procedure to B.A.(Prog.)/B.Com Courses:


(i)

Total no. of Seats in B.A. (Prog.) in each of teaching centres

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD will apply as per University rules.

(ii)

The percentage for cut-off will be decided on the basis of marks obtained
in the best four subjects in 10+2 as follows:
B.A (Programme)
One language and three best subjects which can include maximum one vocational subject.

B.Com.
One language, Business Studies, Accountancy and one other best subject which can be a
vocational subject also.
Students from other streams will be considered for B.Com with a deduction of 5% marks in
best four percentage. The best four may include one language and three best subjects out of
which maximum one can be vocational subject.

(iii)

For admission to both B.A. (Prog.) and B.Com, only one


vocational subject will be included.

(iv)

The cut off percentage for admission will be notified both at the
Centres and Office of the Board as per schedule.

(v)

The candidates will have to submit their original certificates at the time
of admission.

(vi)

The fee would be approximately around Rs. 3500/-.

(vii) Students are advised to keep the Candidates Copy of the


Challan Fee Receipt after the payment of fee.
(vii) The Non-Collegiate students are not allowed to pursue any other
full-time/degree course.

LIST OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF


ADMISSION:
Note: No documents are to be attached with Pre-admission OMR
Form.
The following certificates (in original) are required to be submitted by the applicant
along with the admission form;
(a) Class X Board Examination Certificate
(b) Class X Mark-sheet
(c) Class XII Mark-sheet
(d) Class XII Provisional including Character Certificate (Original Certificate)
(e) SC/ST/PwD Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by competent
authority
(f) OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by
the competent authority
(g) Transfer Certificate from School/College as well as Migration Certificate from
Board/University are required from those students who have passed Senior
Secondary Exam. outside Delhi
(h) Two passport size self-attested photographs
(i)

It is compulsory to submit the residence proof [self attested photocopy of voter


ID card/Aadhar Card/Driving License/Passport/Ration Card (in the name of
candidate)

GENERAL RULES
1. Once a student has been admitted to a particular Teaching
Centre, she is not allowed to change the Centre during the
entire duration of course.
2. There is no provision for Migration from Regular/School of
Open Learning to Non-Collegiate Womens Education Board
and vice-versa
3. All admissions are provisional till confirmed by the Board.
4. Students passing eleven year schooling examination will not be
eligible for admission to under-graduate courses.
