Brought to you by the minds at Requiem Studios Eylusion is a third-person action-adventure game with
RPG elements that puts players in the shoes of Eric, a rookie Detroit police officer whose wife is kidnapped one
day and taken to a magical hell dimension called Eylusion by the evil Overlord Crixus. Having unlocked his new
found power of using the magical Lihim arts Eric must travel to save his pregnant wife and unborn child, while
trying to unravel the Overlords plan to take over both the human world and Eylusion. Our targeted audience for
Eylusionare 17-40 core gamers. The storys theme is based around lost love and what a person would do to regain
that. The protagonist Eric has lost his wife to a evil ruler, we wanted to create a sense of emotion between the
gamer and Eric as him reacting in a way that a normal average everyday person woudl react to losing the one they
loved.
The style of are game is very dark, we at Requiem Studios wanted to tell the gamer that this isnt a happy
and normal world like Earth it is a hell dimension filled with evil, death, and darkness we wanted to protray that
in both our art work and story.
OS Requirements for the game is having a Playstation 3 or a Xbox 360 as our title will be released for
both systems. This game currently is being worked on by a team of 10. And the time line for our game is
that we are already past all our documented information and now look forward to getting a alpha out in the next
year with the beta and final product following soon after. Our product competition for Eylusion are games like
Dragon Age 2, God of War 3 and Dantes Inferno. These three games compete with our game very closely
and we can see fans of those games wanting to check out our game. We are very enthusiastic about our new
game Eylusion and look forward to what the future will bring.

Team Mission Statement


Future Development
After the release of the game, my team and i will probably take a week or two off. Trying to get a feel
for how the game is doing on the market and getting much needed rest. After that week off we will probably get
to work on new updates and patches for any bugs that we missed, and balance issues we couldnt address
before the release.
We will be working on DLC for the game things such as adding to both the human world and Eylusion.
In the game Elyusion you spend most of your time in the hell dimension, and only a few instances here and there
in the human world. Along side those additions there would be typical DLC for new skins for your companions
and beasts and armor and weapon. For the characters of the new DLC I was thinking of making a storyline
and gameplay in the eyes of the antagonist Overlord Cruxus, or other such unplayable characters like the old
man. We may even consider new multiplayer options besides just playing through the campaign.
I cant consider future devlopment without thinking about a sequel to the story. If anything we would
have to see how gamers and critics react to our game. We dont want to put out another game not wanted by
anyone out on the market to sink. But at this point in time if a sequel were to be made i would really like to
design it around the next-gen consoles coming out soon in the next few years. Were looking towards more
summoning options other than just the four you get, as well and new and unique ways to combine powers
between allies and beasts. We would also like to expand on more party members to choose from and allowing
players to customize their parties abilites more and have more control over their party. The sequel however i can
tell you will continue Erics story set a few years after the first game, who the next antagonist will be however is
yet to be decided.
To reiterate on adding to the world of the humans, the story line for those side missions that bring you
there would take place a little before the final boss. After the players beat the game they will be teleported back
to the save before they beat the game at letting them teleport back to the human world and do the side
quests involved there.
As for more options for multiplayer, we are working on different game types such as a survival mode
where we throw wave after wave at a team of four seeing how long they can survive. Mentioning this
we would try to keep it very unique in a way that your not just chopping through wave after wave as individuals
we would try to make combining powers a must as well as switching between worlds like the multiplayer in
the campaign.
Other than the options mentions we really are just looking forward to see what 2012 and beyond takes
us whether that be a sequel or a completely new different game.

EYLUSION
Eylusion is a third person action- adventure that puts players in the role of Eric a man set out to find his kidnapped
wife. Set in the hell dimension Eylusion and the human world Earth players will travel between the worlds using
portals to move through obstacles and enemies alike. Gamers will be able to summon beasts to their side aiding
them in combat as well as collect weapons to fight againsts their enemies. Players will also be able to join their
friends to take on the minions of Eylusion together in Co-Op Campaign. Eylusion will excite you with its unique
combat systemand a emotional, action packed story.
Summon Beasts- Fight with beasts by your side like a behemoth, elemental, halo, or imp.

Unique Combat- Combine the powers of your monsters with your allies or their beasts to wreak
havoc on your enemies
Varied Weapon classes- Fight your enemies with weapons such as, guns, spears, swords, axes,
and hammers.
Intense Multiplayer- Battle through the single player campaign with up to 4 players, experiencing
the action together
Emotional Story- Experience a touching story of love and determination as you play to find your
wife

Story
Eylusion
It was dark. Christina sat in a small space with no windows, a jail cell. She remembered walking back home
from work, when suddenly everything turned dark. She felt the wind envelop her body as she felt herself falling.
Everything after the darkness was a blur. She heard terrifying noises emanating from outside of her cell. Noises
unlike anything she had ever heard before. The bars of the jail cell creaked as the latch was swung open and three
creatures entered. They were covered in shadows, and darkness spread across their faces. One of them, a four
legged beast towering ten feet from the ground, grabbed her around the ankles with his scaly tail and dragged her
out of the cell. She struggled against his grip but his tail was too strong.
She did not have to fight long though, because soon after the beast dropped her onto an altar. In front of
her stood a hooded figure, his body seemed distorted but it was only black mist engulfing the air around him. It
began swirling and growing around him as if it were alive. His face was scarred. His eyes like black orbs were oozing
with blood that dripped to the ground. He had his followers tie her down as he began to chant. An object began to
form in the back of his mouth like a light that was crawling up his throat. A glistening white knife fell into his hands.
He tightened his grip around it and then slowly raised it above his head. The blinding white light kept Christina
from seeing him plunge the object in between her legs but she could feel the hot, searing pain. She shut her eyes to
block out the bright light and opened them to see her husband sleeping next to her in bed.

8 months later..

Eric and Christina were thrilled to find out they were pregnant with their first child. The child had grown with
little discomfort to Christina, much to their surprise since their baby was making her stomach swell so greatly. They
were not sure what sex it was, since every time the doctors performed an ultrasound the pictures would be too
blurry to see. Christina could not wait for her due date which was only two months away

One Saturday morning, Christina woke up to make coffee for Eric. She could no sleep because the baby was
moving around so much. Eric was still in bed after getting home late from work. Suddenly, Christina began to feel
lightheaded and a dark mist began to surround her. She screamed. Eric instantly woke up, and ran out of bed to see
what was going on. He ran into the kitchen just as his wife passed out into the arms of two translucent creatures.
One minion let go of Christina and let out a high pitched screech resembling nothing Eric had ever heard before.
Eric could do nothing but hold his ears till the creature stopped. Eric sprinted to tackle the creature. He went
straight through it like nothing was there. Before he could turn around he found himself being lifted up by his
throat. The creature, with Eric in handed began to throw Eric back and forth against the kitchen walls like he was a
rag doll. It continued to pummel Eric as the other, holding Christina, floated down through what seemed to be a
glowing puddle on the kitchen floor. The second creature, done with Eric, followed. Eric was close to death, he could
barely move as he watched the creatures take his wife away. The puddle on the floor began to evaporate. Slowly
Eric crawled his way into the puddle, and began falling into darkness, not knowing where it would lead him.
He slammed into a hard rocky surface. Opening his eyes he saw that he was in a completely different world.
The skies, instead of royal blue were dark with red swirling clouds and dark moving shadows that coiled like giant
snakes in the sky. The ground was covered in dark gravely substances that stank of sulfur and decay. Fog misted the
whole place, making it hard to see more than fifty feet away.
Life teemed everywhere. Creatures walked around on all sorts of legs. Winged beasts flew through the air
and dodged in and out of the fog. No two creatures looked exactly the same. Some had horns, others had scales,
some had fur, but all were demonic in nature.
Eric got up to find out all his wounds from the creature were gone, and a dark demon was pointing, what
seemed to be a transparent magical spear, at his face. At the demons side was a giant beast shaped like a bat with
wings of fire. The bat seemed to belong to the man as it stayed closely behind him.
You look far away from home, friend, said the demon. As the demon spoke Eric could hear its voice as if he
had been speaking in a large stadium inside of Erics head.

I dont even know where home is anymore, Eric replied. Where am I?
Where are you?! Have you been asleep for the past millennia? Youre in the hell dimension of Eylusion, ruled
by the Overlord Crixus. What demon bloodline do you come from? Ive never seen the likes of you before.
I dont know about demons, but Im a human from this place called Earth, asked Eric, hoping that this
creature could offer him aid.
The demon stopped dead, looking at Eric in horror. He directed his fiery winged beast and the beast soared
towards Eric. Before Eric could get out of the way the beast had pinned him to the ground. Im sorry, friend, but Im
going to have to take you with me. You definitely dont belong here. As the demon finished speaking his beast bit
Eric on the neck, instantly the world went black.
Eric opened his eyes to see a mix of land and sky swirling beneath him. He was being carried in the large
talons of the winged beast as the demon was riding on its back. They were coming up on a massive rotting tree. It
was surrounded by a mass of flames which made the tree look as if it were on fire. The winged beast flew straight
through the flames as if they were nothing. They came to a landing in a large cave-like hole within the tree. At the
entrance stood an Old man wrapped in black cloak.
Castiel, who is this you bring to me? asked the Old man. His eyes fell upon Eric and bulged.
A human? Where did you find this man?
Eric listened as the demon explained to him what had happened. The Old man nodded as Castiel finished
telling him the situation.
I agree with you, he definitely must be special. Only a few humans are gifted with the power to pass
through the portals, and many dont even know they can. This one however is somehow different.
The Old man suddenly raised both his hands to the sky which created a huge circular portal above his head.
Out of the portal came a behemoth of a monster. The creature was four-legged but stood about ten feet tall. The
monsters mouth and horns were made from fire that shot out every time the monster breathed.

ATTACK! commanded the Old man to the beast, without hesitation the beast lunged forward toward Eric.
Eric glimpsing at the beast running towards him closed his eyes and waited for death to come.
I love you Christina....

Suddenly a portal opened in front of Eric. Not realizing this Eric stood there, his eyes still shut. Out of the
portal came a creature. The creature was reddish-black, four feet tall and was floating 3 feet above the ground in
front of Eric. The creature quickly glanced at Eric, smiled, and flew at the charging behemoth. Though the creature
could fly it chose to teleport while flying. It teleported right in front of the behemoths face teased the giant than
teleported off out of its reach. The behemoth stopped his charge immediately and directed its attack towards Erics
creature. Erics creature began charging magical energy from its mouth and two hands and aimed it at the Old
man. The behemoth retreated in front of its master.
Eric looked at the Old man, with a raised hand the Old man had the behemoth disappear.
Good the Old man said smiling.
Just than Erics creature fired its magic ball at the Old man, which was swatted away by Castiels winged-beast.
Control your imp, boy! Castiel was glaring at Eric.
Eric looked at Castiel than to the imp hovering above everyone laughing uncontrollably. Eric was confused. How
could he control a creature that was not his to control?
The Old man saw Erics hesitation. The imp hovering above us now was summoned by you son, only you
can tell it what to do, AND-- The Old man was glaring at the imp now It has to listen to everything you say
The imp still laughing stopped as the Old man said this and frowned. Eric told the Imp to come and reluctantly the imp floated to him looking sad, like Eric had ruined all its fun.

Just than the past five minutes flashed before Erics mind and he realized what had just happened. What
the fuck was that!? Eric bore his gazed toward the Old man and Castiel.
Just a little experiment and it looks like I was right after all, good thing to, I wasnt sure if I could have
stopped the behemoths charge in time the Old man was lightly laughing at this fact but quickly changed his
expression as he could see Erics serious face was unwavering.
Ok, fuck this. I want answers now! What the fuck did I just do, and where the hell did you people take my
wife? Erics imp was in attack position now with the same facial expression as Eric, ready to attack whenever Eric
said the word.
Calm down boy, you look like your about to blow your head off the Old man replied, When I told Castiel
here that you were different you proved me right by being able to summon that lesser demon behind you Eric
calmed down a bit and listened to what the cloaked man had to say.
You are able to use the Lihim arts of this hell dimension to summon creatures and travel between worlds.
Not many humans can travel to our world let alone summon demons to their side.
Castiel cut in at this point continuing the Old mans sentence.
I only know four humans that have the power of demons. Two are standing here, one is a Nomad who
travels between worlds frequently, thus being untraceable and the other Castiel hesitated.
The other is lost the Old man finished.
But enough of that, you say your wife was taken? So there is another human that can travel between worlds.
Remarkable!

She didnt travel of her own will. She was taken by two translucent woman-like creatures that made the highest

pitch scream Ive ever heard. Eric explained.
The Banshee Twins Castiel said in horror. They are minions of the Overlord. You said one of them
screamed? Was it just you and your wife in the room?
Yes, but how is this relevant. Look my wife is pregnant I need to find her before something happens to her.
Eric looked anxious now and began to pace back and forth.
IT IS RELEVANT BECAUSE WHEN A BANSHEE SCREAMS IT MEANS CERTAIN DEATH! Castiel looked impatient as he
yelled the words. It made Eric stopped pacing immediately.
We cant worry about that now, there must be a reason the Overlord would want your wife, he may rule
over the land of Eylusion but his power is only limited to that of what the other lords vote it to be. For him to
kidnap a human and risk the secrecy of this world he must have something dark planned.
He continued, Your very lucky Castiel found you before Crixus minions did, you certainly would be dead by
now if that was the case. But you must leave now, the Overlord would have known of your travel through the
portal, and this place is not safe. You mus-
Im not going anywhere till I know where to find my wife Eric interrupted.
Your wife is most likely located in Overlord Crixus heavily fortified citadel, in the city of Volteria. No human besides
I have stepped foot in Volteria and to do so will mean certain death.
And why is that? Eric asked curiously.
Because the city has a barrier you must pass through which vaporizes all people not of demon blood. The
Overlords servant and second in command, Prince of Eylusion Baal, is the only one powerful enough to create
something like that. He is the life-blood of the barrier.
Then how are you able to get past the barrier?

from my time here, things that you in your early age would not be able to comprehend.
Ugh, tell me what I must do, Eric gave in regrettably.
The Old man spread his hands to unveil a map. You must first find the Banshee Twins, their located here, the Old
man pointed to a dot in the left corner of the map, in the Forest of Fire
Suddenly, the fire surrounding the gigantic tree ceased and the surrounding area faded to black. Terrible
noises were coming from the cloud of black. Eric could see the figures of four legged creatures and shadow men
coming from within. Erics imp began charging up magical energy ready to attack. Castiels wing beast wings
ignited grow double in size.
Looks like the Overlord has been notified of your presence, boy Castiel held out his hand and from it
appeared the magical spear. Take this, boy! Castiel yelled as he threw a glowing orb from his pocket to Eric.
Eric took it in his hand and squeezed in its place was a jagged glowing red sword. The sword was weightless
but rang through the air as Eric moved it.
I will secure us an escape route stall them! The Old man disappeared in a flash of white light.
(Battle Sequence) As the Old man disappeared, the first demons appeared form the smoke.
They are so many of them. How the hell can we beat that?
You heard the Old man stop complaining and attack! Castiels winged beast grabbed one of the minions, lifted
him up into the air and dropped him.
Eric slashed the first demon running at him. His blade seemed to swing on its own accord. All Eric had to do
was direct it. Erics imp was teleporting faster than Eric could keep up, firing spells left and right. After killing the
first wave of enemies the second wave came with a vengeance, hundreds of demons appearing from everywhere.
In a flash the Old man appeared again, holding two ordinary water canteens. He handed them to Castiel
and Eric. He raised his hands and his behemoth came out of the portal.

Go now Eric, use the canteen on the floor. Castiel go with him. He directed his beast towards the enemies.
The beast breathed fire and took out many of the surrounding demons.
Eric was hesitant to listen, What about you? How will you get out?
Ive faced worse things than this, son, now get going. The Old man raised his hands again, and out of a
portal came two creatures much like Erics imp.
Castiel pour a puddle of water onto the floor. Time to go boy
Eric took one last look at the Old man fighting off the hundreds of demons with his three creatures and jumped
through the familiar portal.

Volteria

Update now! screamed the Overlord


My lord the Old man was protecting the human and he escaped back into the human world. We were
unable to follow- the Old man defended their escape.
And the Old man?
W-we were not able to defeat h-him.
Wellthat is most disappointing Crixus was pacing back and forth contemplating what to do next.
"But sir-I-I- I tried! He spat as blood pour from his throat. Gaaauuhh"
The minion fell to his knees, clutching his throat as crimson blood spurted through his clenched fingers. Try
as he might the blood continued to pour out and with every spurt more and more life left his body, until he
collapsed, lifeless on the floor.

The Overlord swung his granite sword through the air. Blood stained the wall where he swung. Sheathing
the sword back into his black misting body, he lifted his arm and summoned a portal. Out of the portal came a dark
hand with claws soaked in blood, scars and fragments of metal filled the arm. The arm took the body of the lifeless
minion back into the dark portal and disappeared.
The Overlord was sitting on his spiked throne, highlighted in dry blood of his enemies. He slammed his fist
onto the arm supports. After a brief moment he stared into the darkness of his throne room.
Find them! Send the Generals, I dont care what it takes, FIND THEM!
The creatures staring in from the darkness vanished, and Crixus was left pondering his thoughts.

The Human World

Eric slammed face first against the hard cold concrete. Castiel followed and landed softly on his feet. It was
nighttime and it was raining in what looked to be Detroit. Erics apartment was not far from their location. Eric
looked to the man standing next to him. Castiel was not the iron cladded demon he remembered. He was human,
a very larger and tall human.
Im guessing all demons change forms when you travel through the human world?
No, only the strongest of us are able to hide our true forms. The lesser demons like your imp would not be
able to do so, others sometimes choose not to.
Erics thoughts focused on the banshees that took his wife earlier in the day. He shook his head before he
sucked himself deeper into thought. Castiel surveyed the area. The portal on the floor was still open and was not
closing like it did in Erics kitchen. We have to move they must have held the portal open, we dont have much
time to waste in the human world.

As he finished his sentence the terrible noise from before began to echo from the portal. Eric and Castiel
both began to run to Erics apartment. What if the humans see them? Wont it cause like worldwide panic or something?
Ha, like any human is smart enough to actually believe in demons, it would just be written off as some
prank by teenagers dressed as monsters. Both men were in full stride running through an empty city park. From
the shadows they could hear the creatures behind them, closing in faster than they could run.
No choice, boy, were going to have to fight through them. (Battle Sequence) Eric and Castiel both summoned their creatures still running at full speed. They successfully chopped through multiple demons until they
reached a roadblock. (Boss Battle)(Lilith Princess of Eylusion) A beautiful woman wrapped in transparent garments
of red floated in front of them. From within her, you could hear the screams of children scratching to get out to no
avail. She laughed the most dubious of laughs. At this point the creatures that had given chase had surrounded
them, there was no way out except through this beautiful woman.
Ahaha, looks like I am right in time, Baal was wrong after all, ahahahah! On these words she attacked. The
screams of the children trapped inside her didnt stop. Eric could see children of all different sizes ripping their way
out of her body. They were not ordinary kids trapped inside her body. They were demons, deformed and scarred
from head to toe. They attacked with their mother.
Castiel and Eric attacked together to no avail, no matter how many children they killed they could not get
close enough to touch Lilith. Erics imp smacked Eric on the head between killing enemies. Ow! What the hell was
that for? The imp looked impatient pounding its arms and kicking its legs like a child. It pointed to Erics sword and
began charging it with its hand and mouth. After a moment Eric swung his sword in the direction of Lilith, the blade
sent a blast over a large area. It staggered Lilith enough for Castiel to close in with his beast and attack.
With Lilith slain the surrounding demons retreated from sight. Found in the place of Liliths body was a
round glowing ring six inches in diameter. Eric picked it up. The ring grew hot in his hand, too hot to hold. As the
ring hit the ground a bright light filled the area. An angelic like creature, the same height as Castiel, appeared from

the blinding light.
Hmph, a halo Castiel looked bored as he said this but continued, Servant of light. She must have been
trapped by Lilith. She will aid you in battle. Erics imp was mesmerized by the halo. She innocently laughed and
began floating next to Eric in stride.
When they reached Erics apartment it was in the same state when Eric left it. Blood covered the floor where
Eric had crawled into the portal.
Take a few minutes to gather supplies, than we must go. Castiel stood guard at the door remaining vigilant.
Eric, headed upstairs, he rummaged through his belongings looking for anything of use. He stumbled across a
picture of Christina, thoughts flashed through his mind of better times. Christina and him at the beach, Eric hearing
the news of Christina being pregnant, and sleeping in bed with his wife. All were twisted together that made Eric
fall to his knees the memories faded and reappeared as the memory of Christina being kidnapped. Eric screamed
out of the day dream. Castiel came running, What happened?
N-nothing, Eric cleared his throat Im fine. Lets go.
Eric folded the picture up and placed it in his pocket. Castiel was in the kitchen now pouring the same black
water onto the floor, a portal appeared. Both men jumped through plummeting into darkness.
Eric landed safely on the hard rocky surface, Castiel right beside him. They were in the same area that Eric
arrived in on his first journey to Eylusion. We have to make our way to the Forest of Fire, there the Banshee twins
dwell. The Old man should come in contact with us soon.
Castiels winged beast carried the two of them to across the plains of Eylusion. (Boss Battle)(Leviathan)
Suddenly, a giant serpent fell from the sky so fast Eric was barely able to find where it came from. A gigantic portal
in the sky revealed the origin of the beast. The serpent moved left and right with remarkable speed behind Castiels
winged beast. The beast dodged the Leviathans forward swiping attack leaving the Leviathan vulnerable in front of
them. Eric summoned his imp and the imp began firing charges on Erics command. The Leviathan did not remain

in front for long it stopped abruptly hitting Castiels beast. The beast was falling out of the sky with Castiel and Eric
hanging on for dear life. Eric summoned his halo. The halo shot a wave of light towards the beast. It Instantaneously recovered and began flying back up into the sky. Healing spell? Nice! shouted Eric at his angelic creature.
She laughed and began flying next to the winged beast. Erics imp was still firing charges at the Leviathan as it
rounded about for another attack. This time Erics halo placed a protective bubble around the winged beast
protecting it from the Leviathans impact it crumbled with contact from the giant serpent. Erics imp was now
complaining again looking annoyed as the serpent absorbed all his futile attacks. He smacked Eric on the head.
Ow! Stop doing that! The imp stared at Eric and pointed at Castiels winged beast. Eric nodded, Okay.
The imp charged the winged beasts wings, increasing its speed dramatically. But instead of running Castiel
turned the beast around. The wing beast wings grew more in size, they were igniting with so much fire Eric could
not move without getting burned. The imp was jumping up and down regretting his decision to charge the beasts
power. Castiels beast opened its mouth, gathering energy from its wings into one final attack. The beast transferred
the energy to the tip of Castiels spear. The demon threw the spear just as the Leviathan was opening its mouth to
engulf them. The spear flew through the body of the serpent and exploded with immense force. The explosion left
the Leviathan with a gigantic hole in the middle of its long body. The hole only slowed the beast down. But it was
enough for Castiels beast to fly away out of its reach.
What the hell was that fucking thing? It just took your attack and kept coming.

Christina woke up in the same dark cell from her dreams. She began to panic banging against her door,
screaming Erics name at the top of her lungs. The door creaked, beginning to open. Christinas back was against
the wall, ready to kick and punch at anything that came through. There was silence after the door crept open. No
one was there to take her away. Christina looked down the long hall way. She tip toed her way to the big open
room at the end of the hall. The hall was the same from her dreams, including the altar she was tied to and stabbed
on. Across the large hall she saw him, the man from before, the same dark bleeding eyes, the same cloak. She ran
away, but was stopped by a gigantic hand summoned by the cloaked figure. It brought Christina face to face with
the hooded man.
Welcome Christina, to my home. Christina struggled against the pressing grip of the giant hand that
scratched her body with every movement.
You can put her down now Abaddon, I dont think we have to worry about her running away again. Or do
we? Christina shook her head in regret.
Excellent you are of course a guest in my halls we wouldnt want you getting yourself lost. The hooded
figure held out his hands to help Christina up. She refused them and remained on the ground.
I assume you are wondering what you are doing here? It is quite simple, I need my child, and you have
been a dear taking good care of him, but Im afraid after his birth it is my right as father to take him.
This b-baby, i-it cant be yours. It wont be yours! Tears began running down Christinas face as she
screamed these words over and over again.
Im afraid you have no real say in the matter my dear. The child will be mine with or without your cooperation. But I do hope you go along with it, it would be so much more convenient. I wouldnt want you to get hurt.
Its just a baby! I would rather kill myself before I let you hurt it!

Christina was so confused, I-I-I wont
She started breathing heavily, skipping breaths in between. The room began to spin until finally she
collapsed.
Pathetic. Crixus turn toward his throne and sat alone in silence as his minions took Christina back to her
cell.

The Forest of Fire

Castiel set his winged beast down at the entrance of the forest. Eric would not have believed it if he did not
see it. An entire forest, set ablaze. Anywhere there should be green would be fire. Even the ground was on fire
leaving little room for movement. Castiel led the way through the narrow path leading into the forest. After a short
distance they reach a clearing that wasnt lit in flames, though the fire seamed to follow them as they progress
deeper into the forest. Castiel searched the clearing for a way out. Fire surrounded the clearing trapping them
inside. Castiel poured water onto the ground creating a portal to the human world. Shall we? He gestured to Eric
to move forward.
What, were just giving up like that?
Just get in the portal boy!
Eric hesitated for a moment and plunged into the portal. Eric landed on the other side in a similar clearing,
not surrounded by fire but forest green leaves. The night sky shined on Erics face cooling him with its cold embrace.
After the fire this was a much better alternative. Castiel followed shortly still dressed in his iron clad armor. He
glanced at Erics surprised expression.
The two worlds are connected. They are only separated by dimensions. What is in Eylusion is in Earth. 19

Why dont we just travel to the location of Volteria in the human world and portal over to Eylusion than,
instead of wasting our time searching for two screaming whores?
Castiel grinned for a brief moment, We could do that, but as we teleported into Volteria the barrier would
extend itself to the portal and vaporize you
Castiels face turned serious again. Dont worry, the Old man and I know what were doing weve had it out
for the Overlord long before you were born. We wont let anything happen to your wife.
Speaking of which Castiels gaze turned towards the edge of the forest. Glad you could finally catch up
with us, Old man
The Old man approached from the forest wearing the same cloak from before but this time stains of blood
covered the cloak head to toe. The Old man saw Erics concern.
The blood isnt mine son. And what do you mean catch up. Ive been waiting here since yesterday. What in
blazes took you so long? The Old man took a seat on a large rock in the center of the clearing.
We ran into a bit of trouble, he has sent Baal and Abigor after us. Their legions are descending upon us
even as we speak. He has even sent the Leviathan. We are running out of time.
I know Ive come to tell you the reason why Crixus took your wife Eric.
Eric looked at the Old man with an eager expression. Finally he would know why all of this has happened.
Your wife, the baby she has growing inside her, is not your child.
Eric laughed at this fact. He was not sure if the Old man was attempting to break the ice by making a joke or
if he was just a bad liar. Of course hes mine, what are you getting at, Old man?
The Old man straightened up, Eight months ago, your wife was taken on her way back home. They brought
her to the Overlords citadel where he performed a ritual to implant his seed inside of your wife. The Overlord is an
evil, evil ruler, the years of corruption and darkness has tainted his soul to point where he has fused his being to 20

become darkness itself. His body is fighting to keep itself together. What he needs is a pure soul, a soul made from
his own origin to be purely united with the evilness of the darkness. If he accomplishes this, all of Eylusion and your
world will be under his control. Many would resist him, but eventually darkness overcomes all of us.
The Old man paused before continuing giving Eric and Castiel time to take the information in.
You must stop him Eric. The Old man was staring up at the night sky.
Me? Why me, Im here for one thing and that is to find my wife and get out of here. Besides, I can barely
control my imp let alone stop an evil Overlord from taking over the world.
That is where youre wrong, boy, have you not seen what I can do? Have you not seen the power a human
can control? Humans that have power over the Lihim arts are different. We you could say have a natural talent
for this kind of thing son.
Then why dont you take down the Overlord, you obviously have more experience and power than I would
ever have.
The Old man seemed amused. Ha, I am far too old for this kind of thing. Its time I handed over the reins.
Here catch. The Old man threw an orb of light at Eric, which floated in between his hands. Its an elemental,
capable of attacking its opponents with the power of the elements. Use it against the twins.
I must go now. I have to gather what allies I can to rally against the Overlord before its too late. Think over
what I told you boy. The Old man got up glancing at Castiel giving him an approving nod. Castiel returned the
gesture. Oh and boy? The Old man stopped and turned around. I suggest after your business is done here you
search for the human Nomad. He could be a greatasset. With that remark he disappeared in another flash of
white light.
Hes right you know, over my many years of being in the company of the Old man he has done remarkable
things that I couldnt dream of doing. You remind me of him when he was younger, youre our best bet in this fight.

Eric could not believe what he was hearing. He was not sure to scream or to hold it in, all of this was becom-

ing too much for him to understand and bear. What the hell could he possibly be able to do? He was just a rookie
cop from Detroit. He stared at his imp, jumping left and right one foot at a time. Its face deceived its playfulness. He
could see that it knew what Eric was thinking. He was not meant for this He closed his eyes to slow his breathing.
Images of the past weeks ran through his head-- demons, large snakes, shades of darkness, all leading up to one
thingChristina.
For Christina, Eric whispered under his breath. Ill do it so she doesnt have to suffer any more only for
herno matter what it takes. Eric opened his eyes and began running past the clearing through the forest, Castiel
not far behind

Eric thought they had been running for days. The forest was vast and span for hundreds of miles. It seemed
useless to search for anything in these woods.
Where the hell are we? Eric said barely keeping pace with Castiel.
Not far now, their sanctuary is but a few miles from here.
As they approach the location Castiel described, the trees began to rustle. Faint screams could be heard from
between the trees. They were being carried by the wind like an echo scratching its way into Erics ears.
Were being watched Castiel held his hands out, a gigantic hammer appeared in his grip.
Gray figures began to appear out of thin air. The figures all resembled human ghosts. Only these ghosts were
faceless and didnt appear to move from where they stood. Castiel and Eric navigated their way slowly through the
hundreds of immobile souls floating above the ground. None of them seemed to notice Eric or Castiel. Suddenly
the ghosts shifted positions abruptly, all together at once closing in on their location but not attacking. Castiel
stopped moving forward, everything was silent except for the wind moving through the trees. The ghosts abruptly
disappear and reappeared even closer to their position.

(Battle Sequence) Castiel ran forward and jumped up into the air, slamming his gigantic hammer forcefully

on the ground onto a large group of the ghosts. The blast sent a shockwave emanating throughout the forest,
pushing dirt and lose twigs everywhere. As the dust settled, Eric could see a huge crater where Castiel attacked
with his hammer. But the ghosts remained in their motionless state, none of them affected by the blast. Erics imp
began blasting the ghosts left and right, to no avail, the ghost still moved closer. They were right on top of the
party at this point.
Eric was not willing to risk them getting any closer, he poured the magic black water onto the ground where
they stood and jumped into the darkness. When they reached the other side they were back in the Forest of Fire.
They ghosts had disappeared, in their place hundreds of dark shades with dark bleeding eyes, and claws that
looked like they could cut a man in half.
These ghosts were not as docile as their human world brothers. They attacked quickly slashing Eric multiple
times. Erics back was shredded. He could see Castiel fighting the shades off with his giant hammer, his winged
beast defending his flank. Eric summoned his halo. It quickly healed him of his injuries but disappeared as multiple
shades converged on her location and slashed.
Eric now summoned the elemental given to him by the Old man. The elemental floated around Erics body
acknowledging its master. It began flying in and out of the shades emanating a gigantic aura of ice that would
freeze multiple shades in place. This made the shades easier to hit. Erics imp charged his sword and with one
swoop the shades were no more. But they kept appearing out of thin air attacking relentlessly. Eric and Castiel kept
moving forward deeper into the forest fending off shades as they came until they heard it. A gruesome high pitch
scream, different from the one Eric had heard in his house, but terrible all the same. The shades disappeared as the
loud scream echoed throughout the burning forest. (Boss Battle)(The Banshee Twins) The twin banshees appeared
from thin air, one was still screaming that devilish scream the other just smiling. Castiel jumped up into the air
readying his hammer to slam down onto the Banshees. The one Banshee screaming stopped and looked up at him
in the air. She bent her head sideways wondering what he was doing. Than screamed the loudest scream Eric every
heard, her yell. It sent Castiel off course, collapsing near Eric. Castiel was injured, unable to move or defend himself.
He threw something towards Eric. Use it!

Eric picked up the orb with his left hand, immediately the orb turned into a gigantic magical shield. The
shield protected against the banshees scream when she directed it towards Eric. Eric summoned his imp. It began
to charge magical blasts while Eric attacked head on with his elemental firing its electrical aura towards the banshees. When Eric got to close for too long the banshees would combine their screams and throw Eric all the way
back towards Castiel, injuring him further. With Erics halo out of commission for the time being Eric was on the
defensive, unable to attack the banshees directly. The banshees kept screaming and attacking hoping to catch Eric
off guard when he didnt have his shield up, but to no avail. It was a stalemate. But suddenly out from the forest ran
a giant three headed beast. The beast grabbed one of the banshees in its mouths and swung her left and right not
loosening its grip. The second banshee went to assist, but was cut off by Eric and his imp. The banshee was met
with multiple charged strikes by Erics sword and was bashed further away from her twin with his shield. The
elemental combined itself with Erics sword to create an electrical strike that shocked the banshee in place. The
banshee was only stunned for seconds. Before Eric could block her attack she grabbed Eric by the throat reminiscent of a few weeks ago when he was nearly killed by the same banshee. Before she could do anything a loud bang
came from within the Forest of Fire. The banshees head was blown in half, leaving a lifeless body gripping Erics
throat. The Banshee fell to the floor disappearing in a dying echoed scream that seemed to come from nowhere.
Eric was now able to summon his halo. The halo flashed a bright beam of light at Castiel, which healed him
of his injuries. Good job, kid, theres hope for you yet. He grinned while Eric helped him up onto his feet.
I didnt do it alone. Eric said nodding in the direction of the three headed beast. The beast was still gripping
onto the other Banshee shaking it ferociously every time it would move or scream. Behind the beast, in the fire Eric
could see the outline of a man camouflaged in a ghillie suit that blended in with the fire. As the man walked toward
them the ghillie suit seemed to change as he walked through different variation of colors, keeping him hidden even
as he moved. The man approached them cautiously. Eric could see his face was marked in face paint that reacted
just like his suit. The man removed his hood revealing a man not much older than Eric, only scarred terribly around
his eye. His left ear was nearly cut off obviously from one of the many battles the man had been in. The man was
holding a large gun, in both hands that Eric recognized as a human sniper rifle a L96. And a Remington 870 shotgun
across his back

The man nodded at them confirming them as being allies. Follow me. The man had a rough and rugged
voice Eric could tell he did not talk much. The man led them to his beast that had pinned the banshee face first into
the ground. He aimed his rifle at the banshee ready to pull the trigger.
Wait! Erics command stopped the man from pulling the trigger. He looked up and scanned Eric for his
intentions. We need to ask her a few questions first.
Understanding showed through the mans face. He held out one hand to permit Eric to the beast. The mans
beast removed its paw from the banshees head and stomped it on its stomach to prevent it from screaming but still
allowing it to speak.
Though the banshee could not speak comfortably it still had a menacing voice. "You are to late huuummmaaan," it screeched. The voice emanating from its body didnt even seem to be a voice at all. It more resembled
nails being grinded across a chalk board until the tips of the fingers were rugged and raw with blood. It echoed off
the surrounding and brought a chill to the electrified air. Your wife is far from this place and you will never see her
again, she said with a grin. Her lips were black as the night sky as they parted to give way to a laugh that sounded
like the crushing of glass under a heavy foot.
Eric was boiling inside and was finding it hard to keep his cool, the man handed him the shotgun realizing
his intentions. Eric grabbed it and shot the banshee in its translucent leg. The banshee attempted to screech but
failed to do so with the three head beast firmly pushing down on her torso.
Where is she?! Erics eyes were filling with fire his determination echoed in his voice.
You little shit! She screamed in an anguishing, blood curdling yelp that would send chills down Erics spine
if not for his new found confidence.
TELL ME!
The Banshee closed its eyes is aching pain, she was breathing hard now out of rhythm, she was fading.

V-Volteria... we took her to Volteriathe Overlords citadel Eric released his grasp on the creature leaving
it motionless on the ground slowly dying. He had confirmed the Old mans theory, now it was just a matter of
getting past the barrier and into Volteria. The mysterious man aimed his rifle at the banshees head and pulled the
trigger

Volteria

We have tracked the Old man to Mount Purgatoris, holding a secret council with the remaining lords
master. The demon speaking was covered in blood head to toe that seemed to stream from multiple slits below his
two horns on his head. Its eyes looked like pure fire being held together by glass orbs. It stood on two horse shaped
legs that had sharp jagged metal protruding from the back of them and leading up to the demons spine. The
demon had wings twice the size of its body, the pure size of them made the demon menacing. On the palm of its
claws were two blood shot eyes that seem to survey the area constantly.
Standing next to the demon stood a monstrous horseman like creature. His height and girth alone would be
enough to kill a man just from the sight of him, but that was not all. His large hand was firmly gripping onto a thick,
rusted mace. The mace was connected to a lance by a bloodied chain hanging by the beasts side. This chain had to
be a few hundred pounds, like the chains used to anchor ships. Its hooves were black as oils slicks as it beat them
thunderously against the ground, flames emanated from each step.
The giant horseman spoke with a deep voice that echoed throughout the hall.
My legions are ready to assault the mountain as we speak, my lord.
Crixus sat in his spiked metal throne, his face leaning on his hand. He was deciding what to do with the new found

information. Go! Surround the mountain. Cut off their escape and wait for my arrival. I will lead the assault.

Yes, my lord, they muttered simultaneously, they left the hall, the horsemans footstep echoed down the
hall.

Eylusion Plains

Eric sat, down by the fire. They escaped from the Forest of Fire and were on their way to Mount Purgatoris to
meet up with the Old man. He had sent word of a secret meeting being held atop the mountain to discuss war with
the Overlord Crixus.
Night time in Eylusion was freezing, and suddenly Eric began missing the boiling heat of the Forest. Castiel
was on watch patrolling the perimeter with his beast. Their new companion the ever vigilant Nomad had joined in
their alliance against the Overlord, though Eric questioned his motives. The Nomads beast was fast asleep, except
for one of its heads which took first watch over the others.
Why have you decided to come with us? Eric said, staring at the Nomad with genuine curiosity. The Nomad
was silent he showed no interest in speaking with Eric. He showed no interest in speaking period.
Look, Im asking because how am I supposed to know that you wont stab us in the back?
The Nomad still showed no sign of acknowledging Eric and his questions.
Fine. Eric abandoned his curiosity and laid down to rest. After a long silence the Nomad spoke abruptly,
waking Eric up from falling asleep.
The Overlordcame for me years ago, the Nomad began. His rough voice barely audible over the fires
crackling. He was gathering humans who had special talents with the Lihim arts, such as you and me. He experimented on us trying to absorb the powers within me and a few others. Many couldnt take the torture and died
gruesome deaths at the hand of the Overlord. I alone escaped He pointed to his scars along his face.

I fought my way out of his citadel but he was blocking my way from escape with his three headed beast.
Eric looked to the Nomads three headed beast sleeping peacefully a few feet away.
The beast injured my face, but not before I could tear the Overlords eyes out. With the Crixus out of the
picture I gained control of his beast, the Nomad stared at the creature behind Eric. After I went back to the
human world but he sent his shades after me. Hes been searching for me ever since. But I dont stay to long in
one place nowadays, so its been much more peaceful.
Eric respected the mans honestly and quickly changed the subject to acknowledge the Nomads silence on
the matter.
A Remington 870? What are you firing Slug rounds? Eric used the model on the force, and had experience
with the weapon. The gun seemed modified in a way, though Eric couldnt tell.
You like it? Been with me for years, punches a nice hole in anything you can get your sights on. That goes
for the paranormal as well. Modified it using Lihim arts, any normal human wouldnt find it useful against a shade
or a demon, but for those with the talent, it does its job well. The Nomad threw it at Eric.
Eric aimed the gun down its barrel, and immediately he could feel the magic energy in the gun pulsating in
his hands.
You can borrow it. Consider it a sign of trust and loyalty between you and me.

Volteria

Inside the citadel, the Overlord sat smugly in his spiked throne. He was surrounded on all sides by demonic
women which he handpicked to be his living dcor. Each woman was covered in chains that pressed tightly to their
skin. It wrapped around their bodies like coiled snakes, ready to pierce their flesh with its fangs. Each chain was

secured to the marble floor so that they could not go anywhere. Each woman knew what piece of furniture they
were to fold themselves into when the Overlord came near. They had been trained. He watched as they breathed
heavily, trying to not pass out from the weight of the chains. He grinned.
Two women servants dressed in black sheets of sheer fabric walked in. The chains around their waists
jangled as they moved closer. Trailing behind them sheathed in dark, crimson fabric Christina walked in, her eyes on
the ground. The servants had wrapped her in this dark material, embroidered with the golden hairs of a slain angel.
It was wrapped around in such a way that her chest was covered and then it fell down her back and wrapped
around her lower hips so that her swollen stomach, full of child, was exposed.
Look at you, said the Overlord, as he stood from his thrown. He reached a hand out to Christinas face and tried to
touch her chin, but she backed away.
What do you want with my baby? she asked, tears falling from her eyes. You can do whatever you want
with me just, please dont hurt my child. Send him or her back to my husband. He can take care of our baby. I promise to stay here with you.
The Overlord laughed. His whole body arched backward as the threatening screech emanated from him.
You really think I want you?
Christinas heart sunk. She had been hoping to trade herself for her unborn baby. She didnt care what
happened to her as long as the baby was safe with Eric. And what about Eric? She thought of all that he was going
through right now. Christina shut her eyes, squeezing back the onslaught of tears threatening to erupt. She would
never see him again. She knew that now. Whatever this man wanted, she didnt see herself coming out of this alive.

Mount Purgatoris

The next morning the group arrived at Mount Purgatoris, what they didnt expect was to see the entire

mountain surrounded in a thick cloud of black smoke. Castiels winged beast charged through the smoke with
everyone at the ready to defend themselves. They made it through without a scratch, and flew to the top of the
mountain where the council building was burning. The building and its many pillars were falling apart, from inside
out. From within the building multiple demons of all sizes ran out set ablaze screaming for their lives. Erics
elementals water aura pulsated from its body but it was too late to save them, they fell to the ground charred head
to toe, as they hit the ground their bodies scattered into tiny pieces of ash that floated throughout the air.
(Battle Sequence) Thats when they heard it, snickering coming from within the building. Eric saw tiny
versions of his imp floating everywhere tossing fireballs at any unlucky victim that came into view of them. Elementals could also be seen, in fewer numbers but each one with an active fire aura given the job of burning down the
building. Erics elemental activated its water aura to make a path to move through the fire. As it did this the opposite elementals would converge on the area attempting to set it aflame again. On top of that the group began
being bombarded by the miniature imps that shot fireballs from their palms like a machine gun. Erics imp had a
serious face on for the first time in battle, it fired multiple charged balls at his smaller kin. The small imps teleported
away, with every attack sent at them. Eric swapped out his gun for his canteen and pour water onto the floor. The
group quickly switched worlds landing in an abandoned building hidden on top of a snowy mountain peak. The
imps in this world were affected by the cold. Unable to teleport Eric and the Nomad were able to shoot them out of
the sky. The enemy elementals however turned into elemental human-like giants of their former selves, each a
different element that pounded the party with their fists. As each giant hit the ground it created a vibration
through the earth that could be felt from miles. Eric switched his elemental to a different elemental weakness
corresponding to each giant. He combined its attribute with his gun and fired away at the towering creatures.
Castiels winged beast distracted one giant while Castiels gigantic hammer swung the elemental off the edge of the
mountain. The Nomad blended in with the snowy surrounding, while his three headed beast took on a giant by
itself, he ran up under a giant and shot between its legs and blew its head off.
When the giants were defeated Eric quickly created another portal and landed on the other side to see the
enemies in the area were defeated. The party moved deeper into the chambers of the council, searching for survivors.

Where the hell is the Old man? Eric yelled to Castiel
He would be in the lowest chamber deep into the mountain. The enemy no doubt has occupied the chambers leading below.
Looks like we got some killing to do. The Nomad grinned at his words.
Dying is more like it! A deep and dark voice vibrated the walls from down the stairs.
The earth beneath them began to shake, one giant step after the other, a mammoth of a Demon stepped from
within the darkness to reveal himself. The beast stood easily twenty feet tall, its whole chest plated with armor. Its
two weapons a lance and a mace were in both hands, readying to attack.
Abigor, Castiel muttered under his breath The horseman of the Overlord, his armies take up the bulk of the
Overlords forces. Castiel stared in fear at the towering half demon, half horse beast standing before them.
Ugh, we dont have time for this shit, Eric was becoming restless thinking of running past the beast instead
of fighting.
We wouldnt make it, stated the Nomad plainly understanding Erics intention. Eric shrugged it looked like
there was no other choice.
(Boss Battle)(Abigor)
Before they could officially make a decision, the giant slammed down his mace where the party stood.
Everyone dodged it but the shock wave knocked everyone off their feet. The party spread out, Castiel charged
forward jumping up higher than the beast itself, and he was knocked away by a devilish shades that flew around
the creature. Erics halo kept him healed, Eric shot out three shells into the beast, and they had little effect against its
armor plating. The Nomads rifle had a better kick to it, and went through the armor plating cracking it little by
little. Eric swapped his gun for his sword and shield, his imp charged the blade, and Eric swung at the beast. The
blade blast created more cracks along the armor. The beast was getting agitated and began swing and stabbing

everywhere. Erics imp was caught in the attack and dissipated. The Nomads beast had taken most of the giants

attacks allowing everyone to attack without disturbance. Erics halo kept the three headed beast healed focusing on
it alone.
After a while of chipping away at its armor the horseman sent his shades at the party. They were different
from other shades they dealt with before. There were four shades two stood back casting spells of magic energy
from a far and two attacked with a sword and shield up close. Castiel took out the two sword wielding shades with
one swing of his hammer, Eric and the Nomad finished the shades from afar with their guns. Before they could
recover another slam of the mace caught the Nomad, and he lay where it hit incapacitated. While Erics halo tended
to the Nomad, Eric attacked head on with Castiel by his side, the Nomads beast still having the attention of the
giant they finished off what was left of the horsemans armor. As the armor crumbled to the ground, the giant
flexed his muscle, and screamed the deepest most guttural scream that could be heard across all of Eylusion.
Eric went to finish off the defenseless demon with one clean swipe of his sword. His attack had no effect on
the beast at all, and was smacked aside thirty feet away. Castiel and his beast could do no damage either and
retreated to Erics side. At this time the Nomad had gotten back up and called off his three headed beast. Eric
poured water on the ground hoping the human world would unveil a weakness to the giant. They landed on the
snowy mountain peak with the giant waiting their looking no different from before. Only this time the beast had
allies on his side, the same shades from before only a couple dozen of them. While fighting through them Eric
caught a glimpse of a glowing light on the beasts back. He took a gun and shot for the glowing spot. The shell
made contact and a flash of exploding light bursting from the beasts body, killing off the rest of the shades. When
the light cleared the beast looked no different, no glowing spots to be seen, and it was going berserk at this point.
The Nomad shot at the beast. The bullet went straight through doing no damage. Eric poured a portal one last
time, and jumped through.
On the other side, they saw the giant. The demon was mutated in such a way it looked like someone had
poured acid on the beast. The Nomad aimed for the head, Castiel jumped up into the air with his giant hammer,
and Eric charged in for a final swipe. The beast was defeated, and melted into the floor, leaving behind a large tooth
in its place.

Eric picked up the tooth and squeezed it in his grip, the tooth absorbed into his body and a giant portal
appeared over his head. Out of the portal trudged a gigantic behemoth, a similar one the Old man used to unleash
Erics power nearly a month ago. The beast roared loudly, exploding red fire from its horns and mouth.
He seems to like you, Castiel smiled when Eric jumped when his beast came closer to get petted by its
master.
Yearight, Eric patted the beast on the stomach. The beast led the way down the stairs to the lower
chambers.

(Battle Sequence) Waiting for them in the lowest chambers was an army of Abigors shades, many armored
head to toe. The behemoth charged through creating a path of destruction where it went. The shades stood no
chance against the combined assault of the three monstrous beasts standing before them and after a few minutes
of battle they disappeared in retreat.
They reached the lowest council chamber shortly after to find it empty except for two figures standing over
an injured body. The body was that of the Old man, but the other two figures Eric did not recognize.
CRIXUS! Castiel screamed, as he charged forward swinging his giant hammer at the cloaked black misted
figure. The other figure covered in blood blocked the hammer with his bare hand. Grabbing it in mid swing and
tearing it from Castiels hands. The demon than used its wings to send Castiel flying back into the wall. He left an
imprint of his body on impact.
The Nomad at this point had camouflaged into the darkness and aim down his sights at the Overlord. The
demon lifted his palm up. Eric could see from the darkness the Nomads body being manipulated from the air, his
body stiff as a board. Eric stood where he was calculating what to do next.
The hooded man spoke. His voice was so dark and menacing that Eric could taste the evil inside of him. So
we meet at last Eric. Eric did not like the fact that the man new his name and tightened his hand into a fist.

This is the man that has been causing me all this trouble over the past few weeks? The Overlord laughed at
his words seemingly forcing out the sound.
Tell me what would it take for me to get rid of you?
MY WIFE! Eric spoke with fierce determination that surprised the misting black figure.
My, what a temper you have their Eric, I assure you, your wife has not been harmed, I wouldnt want to
damage the surrogate mother of my child. Eric tightened his fist even further. He could feel his nails digging into
his skin deeper and deeper.
I promise you Eric I will return your wife to you unscathed and none the wiser, just walk away and you will
be reunited soon.
I know your plan you fuckif I walk away now I may be reunited with my wifebut that wont last for long
will it? You will take our chil-
My child! The Overlord raised his voice, but not throwing Eric off his thinking.
You will take our child and wage war against both worlds. I cant let you do that. Eric hadnt moved, from
his position but was closer now to the Overlord as the Overlord moved toward him during Erics short speech.
Well, looks like we have reached an impasse, the only difference is I hold the entire deck of cards boy.
The Overlord nodded to the demon still holding the Nomad in place, he threw him against the far side wall
putting him out of commission.
Clean up this mess Baal, and then meet me back at the Citadel. With that the dark aura surrounded the man
seemed to fold in on itself and the Overlord disappeared.
(Boss Battle)(Baal)The blood ridden demon Baal smiled and lifted Eric similar to the way he did the
Nomad. The demon walked up to Eric, and muttered something under his breath which Eric interpreted as, Only

human the demon laughed, before he could do anything Eric summoned his behemoth out of thin air above his

head, the beast charged out of the portal attacking Baal. The demon grabbed the behemoth by the horns but was
being pushed back against the wall. This gave Eric the distraction he needed, the spell manipulating Eric had lifted
and he summoned his halo. Eric had his imp charge the halos power, with a bright flashed of multiple waves the
Old man, the Nomad and Castiel all rose from where they laid back to full health.
Welcome back, Eric said looking at the Old man.
Before the Old man could say anything, Baal had gained leverage against Erics behemoth and threw
it back at Eric and the Old man.
Lets take care of this problem before we start any greetings son. The Old man lifted his hands and
summoned his behemoth. The four men sent their giant beasts against the demon Baal. All four beasts were
stopped in their tracked a few inches from the demon like some force field was keeping them from reaching him.
The demon pushed the beasts and sent them flying back to their summoners. Baal was flying in the air now, charging a powerful magic attack from between his wings and hands. The Nomad staggered Baal with his rifle and sent
the demon down to the ground. Baal looked vulnerable- Eric combined with his behemoth and road it head first
towards Baal sword out ready to strike. But before he could reach Baal, the demon had recovered and pushed the
beast and rider back. After recovering, Baal seemed to speed up. His attack also became more devastating and
frequent. After barely surviving an onslaught of Baals attacks, Baal began charging up again.
Nomad shot the beast repeatedly again sending the beast out of the sky, Eric wasnt alone this time in the
assault the Old man, rode his behemoth and Castiel began spinning with his hammer, he let the giant hammer
flailing towards Baal just as Eric and the Old man got there. The impact, of the collision sent everyone flying. Baal
was sent back against the wall, and fell face first to the ground.
Before, Baal could get back up- Eric raced to the demon and severed his head in one final slash.
Godthat washarderthan I thought Eric said in between breaths. He was lying on the floor spread
apart. The Old man walked toward him and helped Eric up to his feet.

The barrier over Volteria should be gone now, the Overlord is alone, but his armies still guard his citadel. It
wont be easy, but we will reunite you with your wife soon son. The group headed back up the mountain. No one
noticed the lifeless body of Baal twitch. The eyes on the hands opened up and began surveying the area.

The Overlord gazed out of the opening in the roof. The Eylusion moon was almost fully taking up the whole
of the opening. Only a quarter of it was left unseen. The soft light was like a veil, falling from the sky to the marble
floor.
Its almost time. He breathed. He turned to the servant beside him. He only had to face him before he ran
off to fetch Christina. His bare feet made tapping noises as he went to get the mother of the Overlords child.
The Overlord walked to the altar. A crimson clothe, the twin to the one Christina was wearing, was draped
over it. On it laid shining tools for the ceremony. A silver blade, long and sharp, that set rays of light along the walls.
There was a chalice, carved out of the talon of one of the dragon beasts that was rumored to have created the
Forrest of Fire. Next to the chalice was a black candle made from the fat of a human child. The Overlord placed his
finger tips on the wick and a greenish flame came to life under his hand. It was time.
She is ready, the servant said.
The Overlord turned to see Christina being dragged toward him. They pushed her to her knees, but her stomach
threw her off balance and she fell into a sitting position. Her eyes were puffy and red from tears. She used her frail
arms to prop herself up from falling completely over.
Tie her up. The Overlord twirled the blade in his hands, flicking it through his fingers like a baton.
What? Christina wrapped her arms around her stomach protectively. No! You cant do this! Please! Ill do whatever
you want.

Story Continued...
Two servants came around and held Christina down by her hands and feet. They pulled silver rope from their
robe pockets and tied them as tightly as they could to her ankles and wrists. They connected the ropes to iron rings
imbedded into the altar so that she was forced to lay flat on her back. She struggled as much as she could, but she
was weak. They hadnt fed her. He knew she wasnt sleeping. It was only minutes until her body was forced to rid
itself of the fetus in order to keep her alive. He wouldnt have to do much, other than move the process along.
What are you doing?
The Overlord said nothing. He took the blade and both hands and held it to the skin of Christinas stomach.
He pressed down and began to cut a long line that curved and began to draw a picture. Christina screamed at the
top of her lungs, her back arched up in anguish. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head. Soon the slits began to
form into the shape of an eye. Christina looked as if she was on the brink of passing out when all of a sudden her
eyes bugged open to the point that they could have popped out of her head. She gave one deep, heart wrenching
scream and The Overlord knew what was going on. She was in labor.
Blood began to pool under Christina from the cuts on her stomach and from under her skirts. Christina
couldnt move, she could barely breathe as the blood flowed down the altar, dripping from step to step until it fell
to the floor. The Overlord grabbed the chalice and knelt down and allowed the blood to drip into it until it was full.
Then he stood and slit his own wrist and allowed his own blood to flow into the chalice. Then he licked his cut,
healing it immediately.
The Overlord stood under the light of the moon with the chalice over his head. The moons full girth was
taking up the entirety of the opening in the roof. He began to speak in a different tongue as Christina still jostled
and fought against her bonds. The whole room seemed to be in a frenzy, when all of a sudden it stopped. There was
silence. The Overlord opened his eyes and looked over to Christina.
Come one, he breathed. Where is it?
Then from the silence arose the sound that he had been waiting to hear all these months-the sounds of a
baby wailing. The Overlord walked over to the altar. The baby lay under Christinas skirts in a bloody heap. He

pushed them away and lifted the child in his one hand, looking at his newborn daughter. He had been hoping for a
boy, but this would have to do. He placed the chalice on the altar and grabbed the blade once again this time
cutting the baby on the arm and letting it drip into the chalice. Finally he took the candle, said some last words and
set the whole contents of the chalice on fire. It took to flame more easily that anything ever seen before. It blazed
with a dark green and yellow glow.
What did you do to my baby? Christina yelled.
Your baby? he laughed. You mean my daughter.

The Old man teleported everyone to the front gate of the Overlords citadel. There could see an amazing
golden building, made from rock and metal. The Overlords citadel soared high into the Eylusion sky, easily towering over any other building in Volteria. Volteria itself was a magnificent city. Its citizens- demons, angels, and ghosts
of all kinds bustled along the narrow streets, oblivious to the danger at the center of their city.
Eric led the way into the citadel its large door required three men to push it open. From inside the citadel
the difference between the city and its center was like night and day. Corpse of demons and angels hung from the
ceiling, like someones sick joke to liven up the room. The walls were stained with blood. It looked like the walls
themselves were bleeding. As they made their way up the main stairway they met no resistance. The stairs began
to vibrate from beneath them, like a tremor had gone throughout the building. They quickly rushed up the stairs,
where they were greeted by a large endless hall, and a giant snake- the Leviathan.
(Boss Battle)(Leviathan 2) Not this guy again, we should have killed it when we have the chance. Eric hung
his head in disappointment.
The Leviathan is not an easy opponent to defeat boy. Castiel glared at the beast eyeing the hole in its side
his attack had made the last time they met.

It was nearly unstoppable the last time we fought it, and I doubt you have any more spears on yourself. Eric

grinned, Castiel returned the gesture.
The old fashion way it is then?
Attack it repeatedly until it falls?
Exactly. the four men rushed forward to attack the beast.
The hole in the beast was like a bulls-eye first one to hit it the most wins. Eric rushed forward attacking the beast at
its front, distracting it, while the other men attacked its weak point. This worked for a while until the Leviathan
started to fly away avoiding their attacks. Only ranged attacks could hit the beast as it flew in and out, attacking as
it came around to them. As Eric and the Nomad attacked the beast from afar, Castiel and the Old mans behemoth
distracted the serpent getting it into a better position to fire upon. After inflicting enough damage the serpent fell
out of the sky and was staggered for a short while. In this state the men would slash at the snakes insides. It wasnt
until Eric and the Old mans behemoths got on top of the giant and pinned it to the ground that they were able to
deliver the final blow.
Easier than I thought it would be. Erics face looked smug obviously proud of himself.
Dont let it get to your head. The Nomad was waiting at the edge of the next set of stairs.

(Battle Sequence) The next floors were full of enemies. On one floor were hordes of corpse, undead creatures
that surround the party. Fire seemed to work best on the creatures. Another floor had the same combination of
enemies from Mount Purgatoris, Imp and elementals. Only this time they worked together, the elementals, freezing
the ground they stood on, making it hard to move. The group was forced to switch worlds to kill the creatures. The
elementals in the other world turned into giants again just like their Purgatoris kin. The group dealt with them
quickly and moved up to the next floor. The last few floors were overflowing with enemies the undead creatures
numbered in the thousands. Too many to kill and move on.
We dont have time to deal with all of them. Eric said while slashing a group of enemies

Move towards the stairs, go! the Old man ordered as his behemoth blocked their escape.
The group reached the bottom of the last stairs leading up into the final chamber. The Nomad reached the top of
the stairs first securing their flank. Castiel and the Old man were at the bottom of the stairs still fighting off the
endless waves of enemies that tried to get by.
Go well hold them off. Castiel was being surrounded now, barely escaping with a swing of his hammer.
What! No, come on, well make a run for it, its not much further, lets go! Eric was not aiming when he fired,
he was too preoccupied with the sacrifice the Old man and Castiel were about to make.
Well be fine son, just go me and Castiel and finish this lot off while you take out the Overlord. Well meet up
with you after. Go. The Old man summoned his two imps now they charged the giant behemoth increasing its
power.
Come on, the-
No we cant leave them, theres to many they wont be able to hold off all of
Think about your wife Eric! She doesnt have long we cant risk it we have to go! The Nomad fired on the
undead creatures that made it past the others flank. Eric debated for a minute in his head. His imp stared at him for
a while, than smacked him on the head.
Ow! Dammit! Ok, lets go. They headed down the hall, and through the large archway.

The room they stood in was long, and held up by rows of pillars. Across the hall Eric could see an altar with a
woman bound to it by chains.
Christina! Eric sprinted down the hall calling her name. A portal opened in front of him, before he could
stop a giant hand came out and knocked him back.

Now, now Eric, youll wake the baby. A voice from all around him echoed through the halls.
Show yourself you bastard Eric was in a defensive position, with his behemoth at his side.
You know, Ive decided to let you go, take your wife-- whats left of her and leave. The Overlord was sitting
on his throne, with a baby in his one hand. Eric saw his wife lying still on the floor. He could not tell if she was alive
or dead.
Ill walk out of here when your head, is on a fucking stake.
Well see. The Overlord got up and made his way around the altar. He placed the baby on the floor, and
pulled out a giant granite sword. As he did this shades began to appear from behind the two men, attempting to
surround them.
Ive got them, said the Nomad, just deal with him.
(Final Boss Battle)(Overlord Crixus) Eric charged at the Overlord slashing away in a flurry of swift strikes. The Overlord easily blocked this and with one swing knocked Eric off his feet. The Overlord raised his sword hand above his
head and began to swing it round and round. A giant portal began to appear, large than anything Eric had ever
seen. The gaping hole began to pull Eric, into the portal. A monster of a beast stepped out, the one from before.
The monster was supported by four legs, spread out like a spider. On its torso were two demon looking claws
drenched in blood. Its neck was long, with spikes piercing out of its skin bleeding. The head was skeletal, with the
exception of ripped flesh clinging onto its cheeks. The monster had no lower jaw, just large fangs that originated
from its upper mouth.
Go abaddon, show our guestspain.
Erics behemoth charged at the beast being supported by the halo. It kept the monster distracted enough
for Eric to charge an ice attack at the beast through his shield. The Overlord summoned more and more shades,
from behind them keeping the Nomad busy. Eric was alone for this battle. Eric charged his sword again with the

help of his imp and directed it towards the Overlord. The Overlord stood his ground and attacked the beam head

on, negating Erics attack.
Eric swapped out his gun, and began firing on the Overlord. With every shot the Overlord would block the bullet
with his sword again nullifying Erics attack. Eric glanced over at his behemoth. It was losing his battle with the
abaddon Crixus had summoned. Eric directed his attacks to the monster. He ran up towards his behemoth and
vaulted over using it as a spring board to attack the monster from above. His attack cut the monster in two, separating its back to legs. This didnt slow down the monster. Its middle hands substituted from its back legs and it began
attacking Eric. The monster dipped its head to attack with its fangs. Eric held on to the beasts head preventing its
fangs from reaching him. It lifted its head into the air with Eric still holding on. He placed his sword on the back of
the beasts neck and spun to the right, cutting the neck in a circular motion as he fell. The monsters body fell down
and scattered as it hit the floor.
Hmph, just because youve bested my beast doesnt mean you can stop my destiny.
The Overlord began his attack, Erics behemoth charged at the man. In one slash the behemoth vanished. Eric met
the Lords attack with his own, matching blow for blow between sword and shield. Every strike done by Crixus
would stagger Eric which made him unable to do anything but move forward and defend. Eric began directing his
imp, to fire on Crixus from behind. It worked the distraction set the Overlord after the speedy little imp. His attacks
would miss by inches at the imp constantly teleported everywhere. It was Eric opportunity he combined his blade
with a flame elemental and hacked away at Crixus body. His attack seemed to make contact but they did not have
the fatal effect Eric was hoping for.
Eric backed Crixus against a pillar, and swung his sword as hard as he could. The attack hit the pillar behind
his target cutting it in half. Crixus had ducked out of the way and bashed Eric with his sword. Eric was dazed. Blood
was trickling down his face making it harder to see. He heard the screeching of Crixus sword being dragged across
the marble floor.
Dont worry, it better this way. Crixus laughed as he came about on top of Erics head. After all the hard-

ships he had been through. After all the beasts he had slain. Eric had failed. He had failed his wife, and his child.

Story Continued...
There was nothing he could do but embrace death with open arms. I love you Christina. He whispered in his final
breaths.
A hot wave of energy shot out over Erics body and hit Crixus before he could make the final blow. The
energy knocked Crixus off his feet. Eric opened his eyes. He saw his imp teleporting in a circle dancing. Eric got up
slowly unable to find his balance. The imp smacked him on his head to wake him up. OW! Jesus Christ for the final
time would you-The imp was holding Erics sword in its hand. Thanks The imp flew up charging another blast
of energy and released it at the staggering Crixus who attempted to get back up.
Eric stood over the Overlords body. Looks like I win after all. Eric smiled and slowly walked away from
Crixus. The Overlord rose up slowly sword in hand with the intentions to kill. Oh and another thing Eric spun
around bring his sword down on Crixus head splitting it in two. I think Ill put your head on two stakes. The halls
were silent. The shades had disappeared just as the Overlord died. Eric could see the Nomad standing at the
entrance of the hall bleeding, but alive. He was shortly joined by Castiel who was holding up an injured Old man.
Eric turned around to hear a crying sound coming from the floor.
The baby was crying. There was no time to rejoice in the Overlords defeat. Eric had a family to attend to.
There was a reason he came here. The baby girl was on the floor where the Overlord had placed her to try and keep
her out of the battle, but Eric could tell she was shaken up. Her tiny body was shivering from head to toe. Her lips
were purple from being soaked in blood and laying without any covering in this cold room.
Shhh, Eric whispered. Im here now. Youre safe with me.
The little baby looked up at Eric with those big brown eyes that Christina always looked at him with. She
looked just like her, down to the little nose that was rounded at the tip like play-doll. She was everything Eric was
expecting in his child and even more. He didnt care if she didnt share his DNA. She was part of Christina and thats
all that mattered.
Eric, Christina cooed. Her voice was so low, Eric could barely hear her.

Christina, look, Eric said, slight tears in his eyes. Its our baby. Eric walked over to his wife and placed the
baby beside her so he could cut her bonds with sword. He broke them from her hands and feet. Blood was everywhere. Eric could practically smell it. There was too much blood. And it was all Christinas. Eric grabbed her and
helped her sit up. He sat behind her and leaned her against his chest. She could barely move and she felt so light.
Eric didnt remember her feeling so light before.
Girl, Christina breathed, her eyes were only half open.
I know, Eric said. And shes beautiful just like you. He lifted the baby and brought her around so that she
was in front of Christina. Christina tried to hold their daughter but Eric could feel that her muscles were too weak.
He took Christinas arms and wrapped them around the baby and then wrapped his arms around hers. Her hair was
caked with blood but Eric kissed her head anyway. He didnt care. He turned to his halo and motioned for her to
come closer.
Please, save my wife, Eric begged. His voice was thick and raspy. His eyes burned from the tears he didnt
want to shed.
The halo nodded and held her angelic palm out to Christina, only hovering about four inches from her skin.
The light from the halos body tried to engulf Christina. It enveloped her and glowed almost as brightly as the sun.
But something was not right. The cuts were not closing up. The blood was not drying. Christine still felt as light as
air.
Whats happening? Eric demanded. Why wasnt this working.
The halos face fixed with determination and she sent a second wave of light over Christina even brighter
than the last, but still there was no change. The halo looked at Eric in horror. Her hand slid down to her side. Eric
knew there was nothing she could do. Her powers werent working on Christina. She couldnt heal her.
No! Eric screamed, pulling Christina closer to him. No! I found her! Its not supposed to end like this!
Eric, Christina mumbled. He looked down at her frail body, tears falling from his eyes and on to her.

Dont worry, he said. Im not going to let anything happen to you.
Christina smiled. Look at our baby. I can see myself in her.
Eric nodded. He could see it too. Christina bent down her head and kissed the small child. The baby looked
confused, and pulled onto Christinas hair as it fell on her face.
You better start thinking of names for her because when we get home-
Stop, Christina interrupted. Im not going home. Eric, you know it as well as I do.
No, Im getting you out of here.
Eric, she pleaded. No. You have to get our baby out of here. Take her and raise her. Love her. Protect her
from the world and even herself.
I wont do it without you! Eric didnt want to hear it anymore. She was going to be fine. They were going to
be the happy family they had been trying to start for so long.
Eric, I love you, Christina said with tears in her eyes. I love you so much.
Come on, Eric laughed. Youre saying it like its the last time you will ever get a chance to say I love you to
me.
Christina nodded. I know. She slipped down slightly on Erics chest and he pulled her back up. She winced
from the movement. He could feel her chest trying to force itself to go up and down. Each breath was labored and
shallow. He hadnt noticed it before.
The baby gurgled slightly. She was content even amongst the blood and gore. She knew she was safe. She
was with her family and in the arms of her mother. Eric looked up to the ceiling and asked God, or whatever was out
there, to save his wife, if there was any way for it to be done.
Name her after me, she breathed. That way she knows Im always with her.

You will always be with her, Christina, stop talking like that! But there was no response. Christina?
Eric shook her but her body was limp. He shook her harder and harder until the baby started to wail. Christina! Wake up, baby! Come on! Wake up!
She didnt move. The halo came before them and placed her hand on Christinas chest.
What are you doing? Eric yelled.
The halo tilted her head back and opened her mouth and a jet of light erupted out. From the light a figure
could be seen that came closer and closer until it could be clearly seen.
Christina?
It was Christina. It was her soul being freed from the prison that the Overlord had turned her body into.
There was too much dark magic in her body for her soul to escape without help. The halo could not heal her body,
but she could help Christina get free. Christina smiled that same smile that always made Eric think of the first time
he had ever seen her. She was walking across the street in the pouring rain with nothing but a tank top and jeans.
Eric had asked her if she wanted to have his umbrella but she smiled at him and told him she would rather have him
over for dinner. And that was that. Two years later they were walking down the aisle, thinking that life was only
looking up. And now where were they?
Christina blew him a kiss and mouthed the words I love you before the halo sent the light bursting up and
out of the room and off to wherever it is that souls go.
Shes really gone, he sighed. He wouldnt let go of Christinas body. He held her to him as tight as he could
and rocked back and forth with their daughter still crying. This was it. His marriage was over after only a few short
years. Why did this happen to him? Why would this girl come into his life and completely change everything he ever
knew about himself and the world, and then be taken away from him before he even got to grow old with her. It
wasnt supposed to be this way. It wasnt.

The halo nodded and a flash of light filled the entire room. Eric could feel is wifes body being lifted out of his
arms and the baby being placed in his lap. Once the light was gone, Eric stood with his child in his arms. He looked
down at the little girl, and kissed her on the forehead.
I guess its just you and me now, huh? He smiled down at her. Its not going to be easy but I promise I will
be the best father I can be to you, Christie. I promise.

The developing studios for the game Eylusion is called Requiem Studios. We are a small group of game
designers, programmers, and artists that with time and patience have finally been given a chance to work
on a 3D game. The head of our company is Jonathan Yu who is in charge of the making and organization of
our game Eylusion. Our publisher is called Revanent Games. This publisher is fairly new as well to the game
industry just like our company so our simillarities make working together a smart choice for both of us.

Status
One thing that is important in a video game is the status. Basically a tool or helpful text telling you where
exactly you are and how far along you are in the game. Our game Eylusion covers status on multiple fronts.
The first moment you enter a newly loaded game, the loading screen to the game will be related to the
situation you are in at the moment of the save and it will tell you exactly where you are by showing a
illustration of the surrounding area.
Our next helpful way of finding out how far you are along in the game is right on your heads up display.
On the top right corner of your screen at all times of game play is info on the current chapter you are on. Say
you are in the Forest of Fire the chapter for that level is chapter 2, so on the top of your screen would say
CH 2-FF. The double f stands for Forest of Fire. Other areas you go to will have their intials on the screen. If you
are not certain of what the intial is you can easily go to the menu screen by pressing the start button on the
bottom of your start menu will tell you the exact name of the area you are in.
We also provide a percentage of game completion for players to view. The percentage of game
completion can be found on your load file and on the menu screen with the chapter area information. How this
works is the game calculates how far you are in the game, and the amount of challenges completed. If you
beat the game and completed all challenges your game percentage will be at 100%. That is until more content is
added.

Rewards and Punishment


In every video game there is always cause and effect, doing this action will lead to this happening.
Rewards and punishment is the same concept. You attack the big bad looking monster and oyu find out your to
low of level to do any substantial damage so you die. In Eylusion our rewards and punishments are very straight
forward. In my meaning; doing one action will lead to either a reward or a punishment.
Our first reward we give the players is achievements to raise their gamer score. These achievements are
easily gained by simply playing the game. You get a achievement every chapter that you defeat 5 in all. On top
of that you receive achievements for beating Boss Battles. Other achievements, are beating the game on certain
a certain difficulty, playing multiplayer and Co-op, and even slaying hordes of enemies.
One of our punishments we put into our game is the outcome of what happens when you die. Simply put
if you die you go back to the closest check point. But in cases such as Boss battles, if the player dies half way
into the fight they will have to restart the battle from the beginning.
Other ways for reward and punishment to shine in our game is the unique ability to switch worlds in the
game. This works perfectly into rewards and punishment because the player is given choice. In battle players
may want to switch worlds to experiment what other enemies are in the opposite world. But doing this will
have them miss out on any loot dropped by the enemies on their current world and vice versa. Another way
is if you find that the enemies of one world are to easy and you switch worlds to see what the other world has
to offer you will find yourself facing enemies that are much harder than their previous ones and you could
quickly be regretting switching worlds and before you can switch back it may be to late.
We also reward our players for beating bosses. In most cases bosses will drop a important object such
as a new summoning beast but most bosses also drop weapons and much needed health potions (very rare).
So just know if you beat a strong opponent or boss you will definitely be rewarded in the end.
And finally the other rewards and punishments in our game are very simple to a point of common sense.
If you fall off a cliff the player dies, if you kill a enemy you gain EXP to level up your character or beast. If a player
levels up they are rewarded with becoming stronger. If you dont kill enemies you dont level up and the game
becomes much harder than it should. These simple rewards and punishments make up the bulk of our game
and players will be able to experience them for themselves

Eric
Eric is the main protagonist of the game. A rookie cop from Detroit, Eric knows how hard the world can
be if your not prepared. Eric isnt afraid to say what hes thinking and he isnt a fan of awkward silences. When
Eric found out that Christina was pregnant he was excited and optimistic. It wasnt until his wife Christina was
kidnapped by two very monsterous creatures that Eric started to lose his grip on reality. Regardless he only
has one thing on his mind as he ventures into the depths of Eylusion-- its to find his wife and child no matter
what it takes.

Christina
Christina is Erics beloved wife and best friend. She has known Eric since high school and theyve been
inseparable since. Christina is 8 months pregnant and is expecting her baby soon. After so long she still
remembers the nightmare she had 8 months ago, the dark cell, the cloaked hooded man with bleeding eyes. The
thought of it brings back memories she hopes remain nightmares. But she puts them in the back of her mind
the only thing that matters now is getting her family started with her child and Eric.
She is kidnapped by the banshee twins and taken to the world in her nightmares. She can only hope
that Eric is out there looking for her and that the man from her dreams doesnt do what he did to her those
many months ago.

Overlord Crixus
Crixus is the ruler of all of Eylusion and the main antagonist in the game. Though he controls all that
goes on in Eylusion he does not have complete power, that power is put to a vote by the Council of Lords. This
restriction makes Crixus power hungary, corrupting him and tainting his soul to a point where he barely
resemebles the man he once use to be and is no closer to pure darkness than anything. This corruption has
made his body unstable unable to handle the evil power residing in it. He plots to plant his seed in the body
of a innocent woman who could carry his vessel until it was ready for him to take over. Until than he waits
plotting to take over both Eylusion and the Human world once and for all.

Castiel

Castiel is a high ranking demon of Eylusion.


He has been friends with the Old Man ever since he
came to Eylusion when he was a boy. Castiel is a powerful
warrior, who is covered in armor from the neck down. He
is always serious and always keeps his eyes on the objective.
His winged beast is always by his side staying ever
vigilant for enemies. Now he joins Eric on a adventure to
rescue his wife and to make sure the kid doesnt get
killed in the process.

The Old Man

The Old Man is a human who has lived in Eylusion


for nearly a millenia. He is one of the Lords of Eylusion
and is very skilled in the Lihim Arts as all humans are.
His wisdom and experience guide Eric on the right path
to finding his wife and confronting the Overlord. His
summoning preferance is two twin imps and and
behemoth that he rides into battle.

The Nomad
The Nomad is a human who travels back
and forth between worlds never remaining in one
spot for to long. You learn later that he and many
others were experimented on by the Overlord. He
was the only survivor those many years ago and he
injured the Overlord in the process of escaping
stealing his three headed beast. His weapon of
choice is a rifle which he snipes enemies from afar
while remaining hidden with his magical ghillie suit.
His summoning is his giant three headed beast
which is both agile and ferocious.

Baal
Baal is another high ranking demon of the Overlords Army.
He leads the Infernal Armies against those who plot to take
down the Overlord. That includes Eric and his friends. Baal is
very mysterious and powerful able to manipulate flesh as he
sees fit. Not much is known about Baal other than he appeared
during the time the Overlord came into power and has been
with him as his right hand man ever since.

Abigor

Half horse half man, Abigor stands a giant among


the creatures of Eylusion and carries a mace and lance
to back it up. He is in command of 60 legions of the
Overlord and is second to no one except Baal in command.
Though slow he is nearly invulnerable killing his enemies
after they fail with their futile attacks. He was one of the
two generals sent after Eric and his party by the Overlord.

World
In the game Eylusion their are two worlds that players will travel between. The human world and the
hell dimension Eylusion. The in the human world various different areas will be visited, areas such the streets of
Detroit as well as a park filled with trees next to Erics house. You will also travel to snow cap mountain tops,
and rich, lively forests. The human world in the game is no different from the human world in our world. Most
of your time however will not be in the human world but in Eylusion.
Eylusion is the world of magic and supernatural creatures. The place is a hell dimension where wild
beasts roam the land hostile to any who gaze at them. These beasts vary from flying bat like monsters to
behemoths that tower ten feet tall. To quote the story, The skies, instead of royal blue were dark with red
swirling clouds and dark moving shadows that coiled like giant snakes in the sky. The ground was covered in
dark gravely substances that stank of sulfur and decay. Fog misted the whole place, making it hard to see more
than fifty feet away. This description though true only describes the plains for Eylusion with its hard rocky
surface that would cut your toes with the slightest bare touch. The plains of Eylusion takes up much of the world
and reflects the kind of world you are put into. A barren hostile hell that is abundant with creatures. But the
plains are not the only place in Eylusion. Another location you will arrive upon is the The Forest of Fire. Again
to quote the book, An entire forest, set ablaze. Anywhere there should be green would be fire. Even the ground
was on fire leaving little room for movement. The area is scorching, making it hard to move and to breath this
area is very dangerous the slightest touch from a flame would set anyone ablaze. This area is where the banshee
twins reside. However to access them you must take a portal back to the human world where you will see that
the once blazing fire has turned back in to luscious green.
The next area is Mount Purgatoris. This mountain like the plains of Eylusion is made up of jagged rock
and sand making it only accessible by air. On top of the mountain is the Council Building where the council
members of each corner of Eylusion meet to discuss pressing matters. When Eric comes to the mountain he see
a thich black cloud engulfing the mountain. A thick cloud that seems to act as a black hole to anything that
comes near. When Eric pierces the cloud of smoke he finds himself looking upon a giant building much like
the Parthenon in Greece. But the building and its pillars are on fire and the building is crumbling before them.
The buildign expands deep into the mountain many miles down with many different twists and turns that lead
to other chambers. When switching to the human world the mountain turns into a snow capped mountain almost
the complete opposite of the Eylusion version.
The final description is that of the capital of Eylusion Volteria and the Overlords citadel. To quote the
story one last time, There you could see an amazing golden building, made from rock and metal. The Overlords
citadel soared high into the Eylusion sky, easily towering over an other building in Volteria. Volteria itself was a
magnificent city. Its citizens- demons, angels, and ghosts of all kinds bustled along the narrow streets, oblivious
to the danger at the center of their city. Though most of Eylusion is a barren wasteland Volteria is a lively city
that acts as a center for all sophisticated life in the hell dimension. In its center is the Overlords citadel that acts
as a final showdown for Eric between the two. Inside the citadel, to sum up the entire setting is death, everywhere
blood trickling down the walls and bodies hung up by chains. Inside holds hideous creatures of the Overlords
army. Eylusion is a hell dimension through and through and the citadel defines this word perfectly.

Gameplay Mechanics
The game of Eylusion is a action-adventure game with RPG elements. Eylusion puts the gamer in control of
the main character Eric. Early in the game the player finds out Eric is one of the only humans able to use the magical
Lihim arts to summon magical creatures. While traveling through the world of Eylusion enemies will try to prevent
Eric and his companions from making it to their objective. During battle the player can choose to summon a beast
to attack the enemy or attack the enemy himself with weapons found in hidden caches in the world.
Beasts

The type of beast the player can choose to summon depends on how far along the game he is, or
what boss he has beaten. Each beast that Eric receives has a different power that can effect how Eric acts in battle.
Early in the game the player receives a imp to use in combat. The imp is a very fast and elusive creature that
fires magical charges from its hands and mouth. Its attacks are very fast and frequent but arent the strongest of the
beasts. The imp for example can charge Erics attacks creating a more devastating attack. The imp can also
combine itself with other beasts charging the beasts special attack.
The elemental Eric receives in the game is a magical orb capable of wielding the power of the elements.
It attacks with these elements in a radial aura attack opponents around it. The element can also combine with
Erics attacks adding any particular element to his attacks. Ice aura will slow the enemies down and even freeze
weaker enemies. Fire will deal damage over time preventing enemies from healing. Lightning will paralyze
enemies for a few seconds giving the player the opportunity to attack. Water will put out flames and deal damage to
enemies. The elemental can combine with other beasts changing their element of attack. The elemental can also be
used out of battle. If the ground the party is fighting on is on fire and unable to cross the elemental will
automaticallybe summoned and put out the fire with his water aura. While he is busy doing this he will be unable
to be used in combat.
The halo is a angelic creature of light capable of healing and reviving Eric and his companions. The halo
is unable to defend itself thus making it very vulnerable to attacks. If the halo is killed in battle, the player must
wait a set period until the halo can be summoned again. The halo unlike the other beasts cannot combine with
Eric, she can however combine with the imp making her healings much stronger and faster.
The behemoth the final beast Eric receives is basically a four-legged tank. The beast is the strongest of
Erics summoning arsenal and has the strength and HP to back it up. The behemoth can attack multiple
opponents at once as long as they are in the direction the beast is running. The beast can also be used as a attack
mount for Eric to ride on and deal much more damage. This mount however only lasts a few seconds and much be
recharged to use again.
Though you only have four beasts to summon you can also combine your beasts with the beasts of your party
members creating all knew attacks for your party.

Certain beasts you can combine your attacks with are -- The demon Castiels winged beasts, the
Nomads three-headed beast, and and of the Old mans beasts.
Beast Progression
Having explained the types of beasts you can look forward to summoning its time to explain the
unique way your beasts level up. As Eric progresses throughout the story, you can look forward to fighting
many enemies. As you defeat these enemies you receive experience points (EXP). The EXP you gain
from fighting depends on how strong the enemies are and how high your level is. The enemies however are
split up into three different tiers. Tier one holds the weakests of enemies, which give the least amount of
EXP but these enemies show up the most frequent They have a yellow bar above their head. Tier two holds the
more powerful enemies usually bigger then tier one enemies.They have a orange bar above their heads.
Tier three holds the biggest and baddest of enemies included Bosses and mini Bosses. These enemies have a red
bar above their heads.
As you gain EXP not only does your character Eric level up but your beasts level up as well. The EXP
share is done like so-- As long as you summon a beast to attack a enemy all your summonings will gain EXP
but the person or beast the kills the opponent gains the most EXP. That goes for Eric as well. If Eric finishes
the enemy off he gains more EXP than his summonings.
When the beasts level up, they gain more HP, and get two points to put into their attributes. For example,
When the imp levels up, he gains, more HP and the player is given the choice to put points into his magical
charge, teleport frequency, or attack frequency. Each beasts can only level up to level 10 meaning your only given
20 points to distribute between the 30 choices. So you could choose to focus on the imp itself making him
teleport more and attack more, or focus on the imps team based attacks with his magical charge. At level 5
and 10 the charges have different effects to the user if you so choose to put the points into it. At level 5 the
charge from a sword would send three seperate blade blasts flying at a opponent exploding on impact.
at level 10 allows Eric to pull off a powerful attack than slashes the enemy until the meter runs out.
The elementals three attributes focus on, aura radius, aura strength and aura combination. The first,
aura radius increases the radius of the elementals aura with every point taking up a bigger area. Aura strength
makes the elementals attacks do more damage and increasing the chance of status effects like burn, freeze and
paralyze. The last choice, aura combination raises the strength of attacks when combined with other beasts or
Eric. At level 5 and level 10 the attack changes to a different animation than does different attack properties. At
level 5 two elements are added to the combined attack. Allowing to add attack with two status effects. At level
10 the elemental flies into the combined weapon or creature and the weapon/creature shoots out 10 steady
auras that remain on the battlefield dealing constant damage until they disappear after 10 pulses.
The halos three attributes are, healing, revive, and sheild. Healing raises the frequency the halo heals you,
revive shortens the time the halo is put out of commision while reviving a character or summoning. At level 5
this power lets you revive 2 allies at a time and at level 10 it lets you revive 3 allies. Putting points into shield ...

strengthens the sheilds around your allies and speeds up the recharge time to use the shield again.
The behemoth three attribute choices are, increase size, combination mount, and increase speed.
Putting points into increase size does exactly what the power says. Every point put into this attribute increases
the mass of the behemoth letting him charge into more opponents and giving him a little HP boost along
with his level up. Combination mount lengthens the duration Eric can stay on the Behemoth and attack.
At level 5 Eric can attack with a weapon dealing more damage while controlling the Behemoth. At level 10
Eric can instruct the behemoth to go beserk send flames throughout its horns and mouth creating a wall of
flames charging at the enemy. Increase speed quickens the behemoth, making him charge faster and more
frequently.
WeaponTypes
In Eylusion the entire game is played in third person in the view of Eric the main protagonist. Being
human Eric is able to summon more than one beast at a time. Demons however can only summon one at a
time. This lets Eric combine his beasts and provide support from another beast. But summoning isnt the only
Eric can attack his foes. Early in the game Eric will be able to equip weapons and armor he finds throughout the
world. This includes swords, guns, bows, hammers, spears, axes, and shields.
Swords in Eylusion are found everywhere and are balanced weapons of speed and damage. They can be
duel-wielded or paired with a shield. Some swords are to big to do this and must be held with two hands. These
swords however are much slower then their one handed counterpart. Depending on the style you wield the sword
can change how fast you attack or how much damage you do.
Hammers are solid and heavy weapons of destruction. Hammers can attack multiple opponents at once by
winding up and swinging the hammer at the ground creating a shockwave emanating from the impact. However,
hammers are the slowest weapon in the game and reduce Erics movement when walking. Hammers are
wielded with two hands and may have trouble hitting faster opponents like the imp. Though when the hammer
does make contact the enemy on the receiving end of it will definitely feel the attack.
Spears are very balanced just like the sword but have a much longer reach. The spear can be paired with
the shield that can create a very solid defense that enemies might have a hard time getting through. Though by
doing this Eric will move much slower while in a defensive stance.
Axes act just like a sword, only they attack slower but do more damage. Like the sword the axe can
be duel wield and paired with a sword. However two handed axes move much more like a hammer and slow
Erics movement.
The bow is a very fast long range weapon. Through the power of the Lihim arts Eric is able to summon
arrows from within him. This requires no quiver to attack with the bow. The bow however has a limit to how far
it can shoot an arrow. When a arrow hits an enemy it remains for a few seconds and does bleed damage to the
enemy hurting it further. Though the bow is very fast its attacks do not do as much damage as the other weapons.

Shields are found everywhere throughout Eylusion. You will find that many humanoid type enemies will
carry oneand attempt to block your attacks. The shield can be paired with many weapons like the sword,
spear, axe, and even sometimes guns. When using a shield the defensive stance of a weapon is changed and
has the player move much slower than they would without a shield. The when not used in a defensive stance
acts as a second weapon and will be used in attack animations paired with the other weapon. The shield is a
very good source of defensive from attacks from the front but leaves the player open from behind so it is not
wise to remain in a defensive stance from long at the risk of the enemy maneuvering behind you.
Guns are found later in the game and become a sure fire way to attack enemies from afar. Guns come
in different types such as machine guns, pistols, shotguns, and rifles. Guns unlike the bow have no range limit but
unlike the bow they fire slower depending on the type of gun.
Pistols are the first guns you encounter. These handguns can be duel-wielded to increase the fire rate but
doing so lowers the accuracy. Using one pistol in both hands raises the accuracy and speeds up the fire rate of
the one gun but not as fast as duel wielding pistols. Using pistols lets Eric move very quickly allowing him to
mov ein and out of opponents while firing.
Machine guns are the fastest firing weapons in the game. The down side of this is the decrease in accuracy
from far away. From up close the weapon can chew away at a opponents health faster than any other type of
weapon. But from far away they do less damage than a pistol. The machine gun must be held in both hands
and disables Erics ability to dodge. Machine guns like the hammer or axe limits Erics movement.
Shotguns are both close range and powerful. Some shotguns can be fully automatic or semi automatic
depending on the model of the gun. All shotguns are widespread and can hit multiple opponents at once as long
as Eric is in range. Shotguns can occasionally be duel wielded depending on the type you have. The reload
time however is the slowest in the game.
Rifles are long range, slow firing but very high in damage. Rifles do the most damage out of any weapon
but have a limited clip and a moderate reload time. The rifles bullet can pass through opponents hitting multiple
enemies along the path of the bullet. Rifles must be wielded with two hands and using them limits movement
but not as much as a machine gun.
Health and Mana
Health and Mana are a big part of combat, without health Eric is put out of commission and with him
his summonings, inevitably having you to play the section of the game over again. If an ally goes down its not
gameover but it would do you good to revive him using your halo. But if your halo goes down in combat there
are other means to revive or heal you and your party. Healing potions can be find throughout the world but are
very scarce and must be used only when the occasion demands the use of them. The health of your beasts
cannot be healed with potions only the halo can heal other summonings. Regarding your halo, she can only heal
one person at a time unless combined with the imp to strengthen her healing abilities. The halo cannot revive
a fallen summoning but can revive a fallen ally. Doing this will take some time and will prevent the halo...

... from healing others. This will also leave the halo vulnerable for attack as she will not be able to move while
reviving.
Mana is also important in combat as it is the energy behind your attacks. Normal weapons would not
be able to damage the enemies of Eylusion. This being said Eric can use his Lihim arts to connect his weapons
with his magic. This creates a direct connection between Erics mana and his weapons attacks. When Erics
mana fully depletes all his weapons become useless until his mana recharges. Different weapons and attacks
take up more mana than others. For example, a two handed weapon will take up more mana than a one handed
weapon. Duel wielding weapons also work the same way and use up mana faster than using one hand. Unlike
the health potion, mana potions are fairly more common, but using them sparingly would be wise.
Player Progression
Simillar to the way summonings progress Eric levels up as his beasts do. Difference is he surpasses level
10 and can reach level 30. When Eric levels up his HP and Mana increase and he is given two points to add to
his skill trees. Over all Eric has three skill trees to add points into. The first is Melee which involves all physical
weapons Eric can wield a such as swords, axes, spears, shields and hammers. The second is Summoning, which
includes all things Eric can summon. The third is long range which involves bows and guns. All the trees are set
up like the diagram below.

When a point is put into one of the circles the outline of the circle will fill half way and the player will get
fifty percent of the perk from that circle. 100% and the ability to move on to the next circles will be given when
the connected circle is filled in with 2 points. However certain circles require multiple circles to be at 100%
to be accessed. At level 30 Eric will have 60 points to distribute between the three twenty point skill trees.
So depending on which skill tree you focus on more the others wont reach max until late in the game.

(First Level)
The first cricle on the left enables the player to use a dodge roll pressing the A button

of all melee weapons by 20%

The first circle on the left allows at the end of each weapon combo a final strike that does critical damage, the
strike however must be charged and leaves the player vulnerable

throw their weapon at the enemy, by holding down either the X or Y button at the beginning of their combo.
The third cricle on the right center accessible by completing two circles adds two more strikes to your melee
combo and increases two handed weapon movement by a additional 20%
The fourth circle on the right allows the player while in defensive stance with a shield to shield bash their
opponents by sprinting forward into them.

The last circle descreases mana consumption by 50% for all melee weapons and a thrown weapon returns to the
user automatically after being thrown allowing to be thrown again. After the second time however the weapon
must be retrieved.

The first circle on the left allows the player to command his summoned beasts by using the directional buttons

The second circle in the left center accessible by completing two circles above allows the player at the use of
additional mana to fire two additional arrows. Allowing to attack three targets at once. If three targets are not
available all three arrows will attack the lone enemy.
The third circle in the right center accessible by completing two circles above increases damage and accuracy
of all long range weapons by 30%
The fourth circle on the right increases movement speed on all long range weapons by a additional 20%

The last circle decreases mana consumption of all long range weapons by 40% and allows a follow up attack with
the bow and arrow by attaching a magical rope to the end of all three arrows Eric can pull his enemies towards
him staggering them and follow up with three additional arrows sending them back.
Both Eric and his beasts can level up as long as they gain enough EXP.
Party Progression
Party members like Castiel, The Nomad, and The Old man level up exactly like Eric. They are able to
reach level 30 and have 60 points to distribute between the three skill trees. Their beasts however cannot be
customized and change automatically as their summoner does. Skills like combining beasts, only allow
Eric to combine his beasts with that certain party member it doesnt allow the party member to use one
of Eric beasts to combine with.
Combat Controls
This section will explain how the buttons react when you press them in combat. The first thing to know
is Eric can attack with two types of standard attacks. The first is a quick attack which is very good at damaging
quick and agile enemies. To initiate the quick attack combo you press the X button repeatedly. The combo max
at the start of the game is 5 strikes, than the animation starts over. The second attack is a heavy strike, this
strike is good against heavy armored opponents, that like to guard your quick attacks. To use a heavy strike
you can press the Y button repeatedly. These strike combos are limited to only four strikes at the beginning
of the game. You can mix up your combos by pressing X and Y in different combinations with different
outcomes. Certain button presses can create a different attack, like pressing X than delaying for a second before
hitting the rest of your strikes.

The next controls are defense and dodge and sprint buttons. To defend againsts attack players can press the
RB button to block oncoming attacks players move a bit slow when defending but are guaranteed to take less
damage when enemies hit their blocks. While blocking the play cannot attack. Another way to defend
is the use of a shield. When the player pairs their weapon with a shield by pressing RB they go into a defensive
stance where their movement is reduced to a slow walk, but they are in a much better situation to attack and
defend. While holding RB the player can attack with their weapon hand by pressing X or Y for quick and heavy
strikes. Attacks from a shield do less damage but leaves you less vulnerable from being surrounded.
Dodging becomes one of the first skills you learn in the game and becomes a invaluable move. To dodge
you can press the A button roll or dash out of the way depending on the weapon you are using. Dashing is
quicker but rolling makes you go farther. Players can dodge in the middle of a attack or dodge into a attack
combo. You can even dodge while blocking.
The last movement control is sprint. Sprint can be used in and out of combat and works very well when
fighting in a very larger area. To sprint players press dont on the left analog stick. Players can only sprint for a
few seconds but it is enough to cover the distance between enemies. Another skill that combines the best of
defend and sprint is the shield bash. When the player puts enough points into the Melee skill tree he will
gain the ability to shield bash a opponents. This requires a shield. To shield bash a opponent the player
must be in a defensive stance holding RB. While holding RB the player can choose to press the sprint button
at the same time by pressing down on the left analog stick. This will make the character sprint forward with his
shield raised smashing into anything in his way for a few yards. This works simillar to how the behemoth
attacks.

The next combat controls are summoning your beasts. To summon a beast into combat you must first
press and hold down on the RT button. Holding down on this button will slow down the game down substantially
giving the players time to decide what beast or beasts they want to summon. While you hold down on the RT
button a square box will appear on the right half of the screen. This box is divided into 4 squares as shown below.

On the top box is a picture of a Imp, on the left is the picture of the Elemental, on the right is the picture of the
Halo, and on the bottom is the picture of the Behemoth. While holding RT players can move between the
pictures of the beasts using the right analog stick. To summon a creature, highlight the picture of the beast
with the right analog stick and press the A button. This will make a portal form above Erics head and the selected
beast will fly out of it. To summon more than one beast you must first summon your first monster than go back
into your selection screen and do the thing over again. Mind you that summoning beast takes about 10 seconds
each summoning. There are also certain moves that can summon or strengthen your beasts to your side.
The last skill on the summoning tree allows you to revive all your beasts and summon all of them to your side by
pressing and holding down the right analog stick. Another power in the summoning skill tree lets you increase
your summoned beasts attributes for a few seconds by pressing on the right analog stick.

The final combat controls are combining summoning powers. This will explain the controls as well
as what combinations you can get out of each monster. The first explanation is about combining powers
with your own beasts. to do this bring up the personal selection screen by holding RT. Instead of pressing A on
one picture choose two or three summonings before closing the menu. But choose the order you select the
monsters. The first monster selected will be the base attacker while the others will be supporting. For example
say you select the imp first than click on the elemental. What will be summoned is a imp that can you element
types firing multiple blasts of lightning,fire, ice, or water. This however works differently with the halo. For
example if you selected the halo first than the elemental nothing would happen as the halo can only be
combined with the imp. However if you switched the roles around and selected the elemental first the halo
would support the elemental by focusing its healing on it.
Next is combining powers with allies and your allies monsters. First bring up your personal selection
by pressing RT than bring up your allies monsters by pressing and holding down LT. Doing this will
bring up a identical square box with 4 sqaures inside. On the top will be Castiels winged beast, on the left
will be the Nomads three headed monster, on the right will be the Old Mans twin imps, and on the bottom
will be the the Old mans Behemoth. You can move around your allies beasts menu by using the left analog
stick. You can select your allies beasts just like you would your own. You highlight your beasts first, select one
or two than select your allies beast. You can only combine your beasts your your allies your allies cannot
combine theirs with yours. Combining works like it would with your own summonings, only this time
your allies beasts though selected second will act as the base attacker and your beasts act as support.

Not only can you combine your beasts to your allies beasts you can also combine your beasts to your allies.
to do this open your personal selection screen by pressing RT. Than to bring up your allies press and hold LB
button. This will bring up the same four square box containing the pictures of your three allies. To the top is Castiel
to your left is the Nomad, and to your right is the Old Man. To combine your beasts with them select your beast
with the A button, than with your right analog highlight the ally you want to combine it with. This will
make your beast react to your allies attacks as if they were combining with yourself. For example when Eric
combines with his elemental the elemental uses a element that the enemy is weak against to and combines
that element into Erics attacks. The same would happen when you combined the elemental to Castiel. You
can also combine your allies with their beasts. To do this hold down the LT button and LB buttons. Both are
controlled by the left analog stick to reach your allies menu move down twice on your left analog stick. Press A
on the beast/ beasts you wish to combine with your ally. Than highlight your ally with the A button. Though
your allies automatically combine your each others beasts every so often this is a manual way to direct them
to do it.
The last combining trick is initiating combinations with your summonings while they are on the battlefield.
For example say you have the imp and the elemental both summoned but not doing anything as combinations
are concerned. To initiate a elemental charged attack first press and hold the RT button bringing up your beasts
menu. Select in which ever order you wish keep in mind without initiating the combo with your beasts the beasts
will combine into their normal attack and support combinations. After selecting your monsters press the B button.
Exit out of the menu. This button press will create a charged blade andsends a blast of three blades at the opponent
that all have elemental status to them. Keep in mind that this old works for Erics beasts not your allies.

Playing in the World of Eylusion
This next section is going to cover outside of combat controls, and teleporting through portals. The first
thing you must know is that in the world of Eylusion you will come upon obstacles that are impassable. These
obstacles could be a abundance of fire, a broken down bridge, invulnerable enemies, and mazes that seem to
lead to dead ends on every side. If you find yourself in this kind of trouble the best thing to experiment with is
your water canteen. This water canteen given to you early in the game holds magical black water of Eylusion..

This water when poured on the ground creates a portal to the other world. If you are in Eylusion you will teleport
to Earth and vice versa. By switching worlds you make encounter a way to get past the obstacle found in the other
world. For example, if there is a impassable broken down bridge in Earth, you could go through the portal to
Eylusion and find that there is a stone carved bridge where the broken one was. Another example is during
battle you could encounter ghosts that cannot be hit, but they can hit you. If you take a portal to the other
world you will see that they have turned to armored shades that you can now attack. The thing is you dont have
to switch just because you want to. Your allowed to switch worlds as much as you want as long as you have
enough water to do it. In combat there is no water limit and you are allowed to switch back and forth as much as
you want but you can only travel the distance of the combat area. Outside of combat there is a water meter
and to refill it you must find a black water pond in Eylusion. You will automatically be transported to Eylusion
if you run out of water in Earth. Players can press the Select button to initiate a portal in and out of combat.

The first few controls to know about the world is in Eylusion you play in third person usually behind Erics
back. You can adjust the camera left, right, or up and down by moving the right analog stick. Your left
analog stick moves Eric around. Out of combat you are able to sprint for as long as you want by pressing
down on the Left analog stick and moving forward. Outside of combat you are also able to jump. To jump
players must double tap on the A button, if you tap once on the A button you will do your usual roll or dash.
Keep in mind you cannot jump in combat. To interact with objects such as chests or people players can press
the X button.

In the game you will travel from place to place flying on the back of Castiels giant winged beast. During

the winged beast. You can still combine your attacks like you would in combat pausing the game with the
RT,LT, and LB buttons. To fly around using the winged beast you can use the Left analog like you usually...

would to move around. The right analog stick is camera control. and to fire magical blasts at enemies in front of
you you can press the X button for quick attacks and Y for charged heavy attacks. The A button lets you do
a flying barrel roll to the left or right. Double tapping the A button has you do a somersault putting you behind
your enemies. You can also power up the winged beasts powers by combining it with Erics beasts.

Beast Control
Combining your beasts isnt the only way to interact with your summonings. You have the power to tell
your summoned pets what strategy you want them to follow. To direct your beasts you must first go into you
personal menu selection by holding down the RT button. from there pick the pet you wish to summon, whether
that be a combined summoning or a single one. After selecting your beasts with the A button, before you close
out of the screen you can choose what strategy that beast should favor by using the directional buttons.
Up on the D-pad directs your pet or combined pet to go full out attack on your opponents and nothings else.
Down on the D-pad tells your beast to protect you at all costs, this could be either healing you or shielding you
if its the halo, or attacking enemies targeting you and distracting them for the others. Left on the D-pad tells
your beast to support your allies. This will make your beast protect the lowest Health ally in your party and
protect him until said otherwise. Right on your D-pad has your pet do its special the majority of the time.
Specials are slow attacks that must be charged but deal very good damage. Examples of support is, the imps
charged blast, the elemental aura explosion, the behemoths charge, or the halos shield. Combined beasts
will have different specials as their normal counter parts. Keep in mind that you can initiate beast commands out
of the menu screen doing so though will apply the command to every one of your beasts already out on the
battlefield.

Multiplayer
The final section will explain multiplayer options and how playing with other players will effect combat.
In multiplayer players can choose between playing with 3 other players online or one friend offline. Playing
multiplayer will allow players to play with their friends throughout the entire campaign. However once a
player beats a certain part of the game they will be able to revist that section with their friends. To keep things
competitive between teams a overall score will be given at the end of each level based on time, enemies defeated,
number of deaths, and the amount of combos you did with each others beasts. Players will be ranked from
S to D rank S being the highest and they can check their standings on a leaderboard.
Combinations work very simillar to single player only difference is when you want to combine your beasts
with your partners you must get a confirmation from them before hand. The best possible way this works is
if you communicate with your partners via mic for online but if the other player has no mic a icon will
appear on your partners screen prompting them to press the LT button or the LB button and confirming
your combination. To confirm a combination you must hodl either LT or LB and select the glowing
picture whether it is your ally or your allies monsters. Keep in mind that in multiplayer the game does not slow
down for you while in the selection screen so you must be quick about it. Combat in multiplayer works the
same way as in single player so players wont be to confused on that part. Keep in mind that the level of
difficulty in multiplayer will be judged by the setting you put it at whether that be Easy, Normal, or Hard
and the level of the host of the match. If your player is at level 5 and the host is at level 30 expect to die alot
in the game. For quick match options however the game pairs same level characters with each other preventing
this, but for player made matches user be warned. The icon below is what players will have to look out for when
being prompt to combine.

Risk Analysis
What will you do if one of your key developers quits?
If something happens in a situation where one of our employees quit we are prepared to regroup and
deal out the persons work between the rest of the team until a replacement is found.
What will you do if you need a certain software but buying it will put you over budget?
In this case scenario i will have a meeting with my team and discuss the need of the software and see if
we could get donations from the staff from their own pocket. If not we would try to work around it as best we
can
What will you do if their is a power outage in your building and no sign of the power coming back on until
the next day?
Considering our budget and not being able to afford to move everything to another building i would
organize multiple team meetings to catch up on how far we are in certain areas such as art, programming etc.
I would than direct the team into brain storming what to do next in their projects so they are prepared with a
headstart for the next day .
What would you do if your publisher comes up to you and says We wish you to go back and take the game in
another direction.
If this would happen, I would have no choice but to agreed with them if I hoped to keep their sponsorship.
Though it would be a complete disappointment and would probably lower the moral of the team, i would keep
optimistic and tell the team that its better than having the game completely cancelled. Hopefully after a few
days they would come back to 100% and we would start regrouping on the redesign.
What would you do if the data that held most information on your game was destroyed?
The answer to this question is simple, do not let that happen. But to elaborate i would completely let something
like this not happen and would require the development team to save on multiple drives. I would also keep one
master drive to be looked after by me personally that held all information on the game just in case any information
is lost. Just to be safe i would probably back up the master drive as well.
Your closing in on release day and your behind schedule, everyone is rushing to get things done and
mistakes are being made what is your solution?
My first solution is to stop everyone from what they are doing. Nothing can happen form disorganization. I would
than hold meetings not only to regroup but to act as a tool to slow down and lower the tension in the room. I
would calmly explain to the team that nothing will get done if we start rushing to throw the game out. If we are
forced to push the release date back than so be it. Putting a incomplete game out early is not the way to go.
