Substances of Very High Concern SVHC)1)
Herewith we confirm that the BASF Textile Chemicals listed in the Annex will not release substances
from textile articles that raise a need for registration according to REACH (REGULATION (EC) No
1907/2006), Article 7.1 (registration of substances intended to be released). Provision is the appropriate
application and consideration of BASFs recommendations.
Based on the available data and our assessment, the BASF Textile Chemicals listed below do not

Notes:
Please always check for the latest updated version at BASFs Internet site. This confirmation will expire on the
31. December 2015, if not superseded by declaration of BASF earlier.
The information submitted in this confirmation is based on our current knowledge and experience. In view of
the many factors that may affect processing and application, these data do not relieve processors from the
responsibility of carrying out their own tests and experiments; neither do they imply any legally binding
assurance of certain properties or of suitability for a specific purpose nor of the legal status of the listed
product names. It is the responsibility of those to whom we supply our products to ensure that any proprietary
rights and existing laws and legislation are observed. Responsibility for ensuring that garments processed
using the Chemicals comply with the requirements of the downstream textile market rests with processors.
