Directory of Designated Personnel for ICD-10

Training in the PhilHealth Regional Offices
In order to ensure the proper implementation of All Cases Rate Policies as provided in PhilHealth Circular nos. 31 and
35 s-2013 (Implementing Guidelines on Medical and Procedure Case Rates) particularly on the requirement for correct
and complete International Classification of Diseases (ICD) 10 codes in filling out the PhilHealth Claim Forms, The
Standards and Monitoring Department (SMD) enjoins all PhilHealth Regional Offices (PROs) to provide assistance to
hospitals and other relevant stakeholders in their training needs for ICD-10 coding. The roles and responsibilities of
PRO are defined under Special Order no. 0475 s-2013 (Implementing Guidelines in the Administration of PhilHealth
ICD-10 training Program starting 2013).
The PhilHealth Regional Vice- Presidents (RVPs) have designated following personnel in their respective PhilHealth
Regional Offices (PROs) as focal point person in all activities related to ICD-10 training in their regions:
