IV

ANALYSIS OF DATA, INTERPRETAITON AND


DISCUSSION OF RESULTS
Present Chapter deals with the analysis of data along with interpretation
and discussion of results so as to test the various hypotheses given earlier.
Analysis of data means studying the Organized material in Order to discover
inherent facts. The data studied from as many angles as possible to explore the
near facts. Analysis requires an alert, flexible and open mind.
The data collected by administrating the teacher values Inventory were
Statistically treated so as to interpret it scientifically, present meaningful picture
and draw valid inferences and conclusion.

Hypothesis 1: There will be significant difference in the theoretical values of


government and private school teachers.

Table 4.1 and figure 4.1 show that mean score of government School
teachers is 90.48 with S.D as 12.79. The mean score of private school teachers is
97.53, with S.D as 10.87.
It is clear from the table that the private school teachers have higher scores
of theoretical values than the government school teachers.
The t value is 3.637, which is significant at 0.01 level of confidence.
It indicate that the private school teachers have more theoretical values
than the Government school teachers.
Therefore the Hypothesis :- There will be significant difference in the
theoretical values of government and private school teachers _is accepted.

Hypothesis 2: There will be significant difference in the social values of


government and private school teachers.

Table 4.2 and figure 4.2 show that mean score of government School
teachers is 95.88 with S.D as 13.56. The mean score of private school teachers
is 95.26, with S.D as 13.77.
It is clear from the table that the government and private school teachers
have approximately same mean.
The t value is 0.123, which is not significant at 0.05 level of confidence.
It indicate that the government and private school teachers have not
significant difference in their social values.
Therefore the Hypothesis:- There will be significant difference in the
social values of government and private school teachers _is rejected

Table 4.3 and figure 4.3 show that mean score of government School
teachers is 84.173 with S.D as 12.198. The mean score of private school
teachers is 84.413, with S.D as 9.920.
It is clear from the table that the government and private school teachers
have approximately same mean.
The t value is 0.13, which is not significant at 0.01 and 0.05 level of
confidence.
It indicate that the government and private school teachers have not
significant difference in their Economic values.
Therefore the Hypothesis: There will be significant difference in the
Economic values of government and private school teachers _is rejected.

Table 4.4 and figure 4.4 show that mean score of government School
teachers is 85.93 with S.D as 10.03. The mean score of private school teachers
is 84.45, with S.D as 9.579.
It is clear from the table that the Government school teachers have higher
scores of Aesthetic values than the Private school teachers.
The t value is 0.925, which is not significant at 0.01 level and 0.05 level
of confidence.
It indicate that government and private school teachers have not
significant difference in their Aesthetic values. Therefore the Hypothesis:-

There will be significant difference in the Aesthetic values of government and


private school teachers _is rejected.

Table 4.5 and figure 4.5 show that mean score of government School
teachers is 80.36, with S.D as 12.15. The mean score of private school teachers is
84.58, with S.D as 10.83.
It is clear from the table that the private school teachers have higher scores
of Political values than the government school teachers.
The t value is 2.24, which is significant at 0.05 level of confidence.
It indicate that the private school teachers have more Political values than
the Government school teachers.
Therefore the Hypothesis:- There will be significant difference in the
Political values of government and private school teachers _is accepted.

teachers is 88.013 with S.D as 11.997. The mean score of private school teachers
is 78.28, with S.D as 8.74.
It is clear from the table that the Government school teachers have higher
scores of Religious values than the Private school teachers.
The t value is 5.68, which is significant at 0.01 level of confidence.
It indicate that the Government school teachers have more Religious
values than the Private school teachers.
Therefore the Hypothesis: - There will be significant difference in the
Religious values of government and private school teachers _is accepted.
