5.8 Discussion of AHU Process Flow

From the analysis of punch list data based on category of punch list for
FLNG 1101 (Duty) it show that;
1. The highest number of punch list based on category is Out Standing
which are 5 items. Followed by Rectify and Additional which is 1 item.
From the analysis for caused of punch list based on Process Flow Number
and Process Description it show that;
1. Process flow of [24] which is Finish up overall enclosure c/w VCI under
AHU Fabrication Process showed the highest value among other which
are 5 items.
2. Followed by process flow of [23] which is Fabricate & install instrument
bracket & accessories AND process flow of [16] which is Fabricate &
install fan supports. Both of process flow are under AHU Fabrication
Process. Both of process flow contributes 1 item.

5.9 Improvement: Out Standing (Root of Caused:

Suggestion)
Based on the previous analysis and discussion, the duration of
process flow need to increase on;
1. Process flow number [24] and the suggestion of increasing of
duration is 2 days.
2. Process flow number [16] & [23] and the suggestion of increasing of

5.9 Improvement: Out Standing (Root of Caused:

Suggestion)-cont
Based on the AHU process flow, the possible process flow number
that can be reduced are;
1. Process flow number [2] which is AHU design & create cutting plan
drawings AND process flow number [15];
i. The process flow can be reduced by improve the drawing layout
before hand over for fabrication process.
ii. The possible duration process can be reduced based of process
flow number [2] is 2 days. Whereas, the possible duration process
can be reduced for process flow number [15] is 1 day.
iii. As an example, refer the next slide of presentation.
2. The total decreasing of fabrication process are 3 days.

5.9 Improvement: Out Standing (Root of Caused:

Wheatstone layout drawing.
9.0 Improvement: Out

5.9 Improvement: Out Standing (Root of Caused:

Suggestion)-cont
To ensure the equipment progress is ready before the FAT date, the
information about the current progress of equipment should be
known by each of department. As a suggestion;
1. Create a document in the server.
i. The document should contain the current progress for each
department especially for fabrication department.
ii. As an example, refer the next slide of presentation.
