Business Potentiality of ACI Pharmaceuticals in Urban. For the fulfillment of BBA
degree, I was sent to the ACI Pharmaceuticals for performing my 3 months internship
program.
I have collected as much information as possible from the Advanced Chemical
Industries (ACI). Three months effort on this organization was a worthwhile
understanding for me as it was in such a reputed business organization. It is a great
contentment for me to present you the report as a requirement of the Bachelor of
Business Administration. This internship program has enriched both my knowledge and
experience.

PREFACE
Southeast University is a well reputed Private University in Bangladesh for higher
education. The main objective of the university is to provide proper education to the
student who will serve the country as well as make the university proud. It is also
providing moral education along with general education. The Bachelor of Business
Administration (BBA) program is designed with necessary theoretical & practical
courses. Internship is a mandatory part of BBA program. Internship report is the
summary of the whole process of Internship. For this purpose, I was assigned to ACI
Pharmaceuticals. to have the practical experience after completing the institutional
experience. According to the academic curriculum of Southeast University, every
student has to do an internship program under any reputed organization. I am grateful
to Advanced Chemical Industries Ltd. (ACI) for giving me the opportunity to complete
my internship. I have started from the 1st October 2013 and have completed on 30th
December 2013. For preparing this report, I have gathered information from my
superior as well as from the concerned persons of the company. I would like to thank
them all.

Executive Summary
Pharmaceutical is one of the leading export earning sectors in Bangladesh. The economy
is mostly depended on export earning since it facilitates the increase in export earning
of the country. So it has a potential market for growing out.
This report Business Potentiality of ACI Pharmaceuticals in Urban, is prepared
based on the information collected through extensive study. The report is about how
ACI Pharmaceuticals differentiates the company from other competitors, where it
stands in the market and where it can reach implementing its left potential.
This report contains five broad chapters. In chapter one, I have discussed research
methodology. This chapter contains data like origin of the study, scopes of the study,
objectives of this report, methodology, data collection method, sampling, significance of
this study and limitations that I dealt with while preparing it.
Chapter two is about the pharmaceuticals industry in Bangladesh. This chapter contains
information of pharmaceuticals sector in Bangladesh, market size, present growth
drivers, future growth drivers, underlying threat, underlying threats and regulatory
authorities.
Chapter three is about the overview of ACI pharmaceuticals. I have mentioned history of
ACI Pharmaceuticals, its objectives, mission, vision, values, people, plant, training,
services, products, domestic and international market operation, quality policy,
environmental policy, distribution methods, global compact endorsements, Corporate
social responsibility, human rights, future plans, organogram of ACI pharmaceuticals in
this chapter.
Chapter four has been the most crucial and significant one. This chapter contains the
brief discussion of the ACI Pharmaceuticals, market position and share of ACI
pharmaceuticals from different perspectives, analysis of gathered data and
interpretation. It also contains tabulated data drawing growth of ACI Pharmaceuticals.
In the later part of this chapter, strategies taken by ACI Pharmaceuticals have been
mentioned and the chapter has ended with key challenges faced by ACI
Pharmaceuticals.

In chapter five I have mentioned the conclusion part and recommendation. This chapter
also contains a complete bibliography mentioning all the sources from where I collected
data to prepare this report. In the appendix part, I have mentioned the questionnaire
and collected data from survey in tabulated form.
