2015 Fireworks Program

Since 1989, Keystone Fireworks has been a leading seller of consumer fireworks in the Mid-Atlantic region. In
2015, we will offer our own brand of top quality fireworks at nearly 500 tent outlets in Pennsylvania, Maryland,
Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and Rhode Island, Connecticut and Georgia. Our tent sales have proven
to be a great source of income for both individuals and non-profit groups and there are no upfront costs. Besides
a few personal items, Keystone supplies everything you need to run a first class tent sale. We are happy to include
you with the thousands of other individuals who have had a positive experience with Keystone. For more

Overview of Schedule and Services to be Performed by Tent Operators

Dates of Operation: Tents will be open beginning Wednesday, June 24 through Sunday, July 5. The
opening day will vary depending on the location you are assigned to. Your opening date will be confirmed
prior to you being hired.
Basic Procedure: You must arrive at your tent by 7:30 a.m. on opening day since the fireworks will be
delivered by a freight company that morning. Area managers, who visit each tent daily, will provide
additional product as needed and will take trash and money during each visit. You will close the tent on the
evening of July 5th then pack up the merchandise and supplies and clean the tent and surrounding area
thoroughly. At 8 a.m. on the morning of July 6, you will deliver the unsold merchandise and supplies to your
manager at a designated storage facility. You must arrange to have a truck or van available to you on
July 6th, as it is your responsibility to pack and return the leftover merchandise. Upon return of your
unsold merchandise and supplies on July 6th, you will receive your first part of your pay. This check for the
first installment of commissions will be made only to the individual contracted to operate the tent and you
can expect to be dismissed from the turn-in process by 11 a.m. Keystone will mail the remaining balance on
July 31, 2015 after unsold inventory is counted and processed and bonus commissions are calculated.
Supply Pick-up: You must attend a supply pick-up session since you will receive (in addition to valuable
information) your supplies, local permits for your tent, table skirting, etc.
Helpers: Your biggest responsibility is to plan ahead so that you have enough help when you need it. You
must have at least one competent adult helper all day on the following days: the first day (June 24-30
depending on your location) to unload the merchandise, decorate the tent and set up the display and July 3rd
and 4th. Having plenty of extra help on the first day will allow you to get your tent open sooner and begin
selling. Without at least one good helper on the 3rd and 4th, you will be overwhelmed, as the great majority
of sales occur on these days. We recommend that you also have help to pack up the leftover merchandise on
July 5th at closing and to help you turn in your merchandise on July 6th.
Care of Merchandise and Supplies: You are responsible for the safe keeping of the merchandise and
supplies at all times. The product remains in the tent all week, so you must arrange to have someone on site
at all times. Your options are as follows:
Arrange for a night watchman to stay at the tent during closed hours. Arranging for a night watchman
will be the single most important thing that you can do to make the week easy for you.
Stay in the tent yourself. You can do this, provided that the money has been removed from the site!
Keep in mind that this is a long week, and it is much easier if you can simply turn the tent over to your
night watchman and then go home for a good nights sleep
Renting a truck or trailer and packing the merchandise away at night is not an option. If you cant make
arrangements to have someone on site, you cant operate a tent.

Remember: You are responsible for this product and for remitting the proceeds of its sale to us.
Be certain that you can trust the people you leave in control of your tent when you are not there!
Pay: As a Direct Seller of Keystones products, you will receive a base commission provided that you
have adequately performed all of the services described above. You are also eligible for a bonus
commission of 10% of any sales that your tent generates in excess of a baseline sales quota and a 15%
Commission tier (new for 2015). The minimum daily pay will remain the same at $180 each day, but
we are adding the additional commission incentive which is noted below:

EXAMPLE - If you work a 7 day tent this year and you have net sales that total $14,900. Your pay
would be $1,260 ($180 x 7 days) + $189 (10% of the sales between $12,600 and $14,500)
+ $60.00 (15%of the sales greater than $14,500) = a total of $1,509.00
