HARVEST BAPTIST CHURCH PRAYER DIARY SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE TIMES 8:00, 9:00 & 11:00A.M.

MONDAYEVANGELISTIC PRAYER
Chronological Bible Reading: Esther 9-10; Acts 6
Monday, June 22
Rom. 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Heavenly Lord and Loving Father:
I am debtor to you. You deserve obedience with all my mind, heart and
body so I can know, be and do. People who break your commandments are
debtors to your justice. They owe a sin debt they are unable to pay.
Lord, since Jesus died to forgive them, help me get them the gospel! As a
Christian they will owe your justice nothing, because you paid the debt we owed.
Instead, we have a debt, not to lusts, but to love. Make __________ and
__________ debtors to your grace and mercy. Give them grace to trust you have
wiped the debt from their account by the blood of Jesus Christ.
MAKE THEM DEBTORS TO YOUR PROVIDENCE. How much I owe
unconditional love, because you gave your Son without seeing any good in me.
MAKE THEM DEBTORS TO YOUR GRACE, because even after ten thousand
similar sins you love me as infinitely as ever.
MAKE THEM DEBTORS TO YOUR POWER. You raised me up from being
dead in sins, you continuously preserve my spiritual life, and only you can keep
me from falling again.
MAKE THEM DEBTORS TO YOUR CHANGELESSNESS. Lord I have switched
back and forth a thousand times, but you always look at me the same.
Make them as deeply in debt as they can be to every attribute of God and
characteristic of Christ. Then Lord, make us more like him together! I owe myself
to you; I yield today as a living sacrifice for you to use in getting the message of
redeeming grace to others. It is only a reasonable service if I devote my blood
to furthering the good news of Christs blood, and get it to others who are on my
heart today. Holy Spirit, open doors for me to do this for Jesus sake! Amen.
A DAILY PATTERN FOR PRAYER & BIBLE READING
Chronological Bible Reading: Job 7-9; Acts 9
Thursday, June 25
Judges 13:7 Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor
strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the
womb to the day of his death.

WOULD you be free from the burden of sin?

Theres powr in the blood, powr in the blood;
Would you oer evil a victory win?
Theres wonderful powr in the blood.
Would you be free from your passion and pride?
Theres powr in the blood, powr in the blood;
Come for a cleansing to Calvarys tide;
Theres wonderful powr in the blood.
Would you do service for Jesus your King?
Theres powr in the blood, powr in the blood;
Would you live daily His praises to sing?
Theres wonderful powr in the blood.
There is powr, powr, wonder-working powr in the blood of the Lamb;
There is powr, powr, wonder-working powr in the precious blood of the Lamb.

TUESDAYFOCUS ON CHRISTS LIFE

Chronological Bible Reading: Job 1-3; Acts 7
Tuesday, June 23

WEDNESDAYREVIVAL PRAYING
Chronological Bible Reading: Job 4-6; Acts 8
Wednesday, June 24

Luke 5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the
deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

Mal. 4:2a But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with
healing in his wings

Faithful Friend and Father:

If I ask to see what I get first, before I obey your commands, that is
nothing but selfishness. Your word is its own argument for obedience.
IT IS AN ARGUMENT TO KEEP PRAYING. I have been asking for years for
certain ones to get saved. I am tempted to say with Peter, I have toiled all the night,
and have taken nothing. Let me go on to add with Peter, Nevertheless at thy word I will
let down the net. If I started praying for anyone, I will keep on praying as long as
they live. I will knock at mercys door. I will wrestle with the angel. If blessing
does not come in the night, then it will come at break of day.
IT IS AN ARGUMENT TO KEEP SERVING. I will stop now to ask myself if I
am acting according to your will. I will wait on you for guidance, because I do not
want to choose my own way. If, as far as I can judge it is your will Master, then I
will let down the netand let it down whether I see any fish or not. Whatever
results from my effort, I will receive it at your pierced hand, and reckon it to be
part of my sacrifice of worship to you.
IT IS AN ARGUMENT FOR BLESSING BY GRACE. I dont thank you just for
keeping me out of sin. I thank you for enabling me to do your will on any level
and in any manner (even poorly). Virtue is its own reward, and so is naked
obedience to your word. To have simply been obedient to you Jesus, is one of the
highest blessings you can bestow on any mortal, no matter how small their net. In
keeping of your word is the great reward (Psa. 19:11)reward of usefulness to
others, happiness to myself, and glory to God. Faith in you means obedience to
you. Let me offer you that sacrifice today so Jesus may be lifted up. Amen.

Lord of the Night As Well As the Day:

This verse has a complete fulfillment at the Second Coming, but it also has
a daily application to me, because it is night right now. Sometimes I go to sleep
and wake up only to feel like night has deepened into an even denser darkness.
But I will not despair; the Sun is on the horizon! When the night is darkest then
dawn is closest.
The sun will rise because the Son has risenthe Sun of Righteousness.
Every ray of his is holiness. He rises to revive me. He comes in the way of justice
as well as the way of mercy. He is unable to violate law, even to save me. Jesus as
much displays the holiness of God as he does the love of God, because every
aspect of the law was fulfilled in my redemption! I can know my deliverance is
safe because it was righteous. No Accuser can overthrow it on appeal.
But maybe I need to ask this in prayer: Do I fear Gods name? Do I
reverence Christ by walking in his righteous ways? Will the Sun of Righteousness
still shine in my heart if divided between him and another? Do I need revival?
Lord, shorten the night! Wipe away the sickness and sorrow of my soul
with your coming. Through the Holy Spirit give me light, warmth and clearness
of vision as the down-payment in advanceeven though I have to wait on the
healing of every disease and distress until later. Lord, bring me revival!
Has Jesus risen on those I will see today? If they sit by me, will they bask in
the Son? Hide not your face from me Lord, so I can display your countenance to
others. Shine forth as surely as your gospel is true, so that my witness will be
believable to them. This I ask to Jesus glory. Amen.

FRIDAY CORPORATE PRAYER MINISTRY

Chronological Bible Reading: Job 10-12; Acts 10
Friday, June 26

SATURDAYIN THE PSALMS

Chronological Bible Reading: Job 13-15; Acts 11
Saturday, June 27

Deut. 28:3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
Lord, Our Source of Life and Success:

Isaac was blessed in the field while he walked in the evening to

meditate. Meet with us when we are alone! The walls and chairs bear
witness to the fact we need you, and we look for such a blessing right now.

Boaz was blessed in the field when he reaped the harvest. Even his
workmen gave him compliments. Lord, prosper all who drive the plough
todaywhether running a truck over a route, serving a shift in a plant,
sitting through a course, preparing to teach, changing diapers during the
day, or some other aspect of work. Bless both in the city and in the field, by
blessing both our businesses and our fruitfulness.

Adam was blessed in the field after the fall. Bread is only produced
by toil and sweat since the curse, but it is a comfort to find grace upon
grace in the second Adam when we most need it.

Bless us in the field of exercise; give us health to use to your glory.

Bless us in the field of study; give us knowledge so we can use it in

ministry.

And lastly Lord, bless us in the fields where we witness and serve and
testify of your grace. Lead us to someone this week we can bring with us to
at least one of our services on Sunday. Give us revival and make our church
life fruitful!
Guide us this week to lead others out of the pit of despair and into the
same hope of blessing you have given us as we go forward together in faith for
your Eternal Purpose, for so we ask it in Jesus precious name. Amen.

Psa. 51:2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
Savior and Loving Lord:
Forgiving my sin can only be purely an act of your mercy. Today I flee to
you. Wash me through and through.
Hypocrites are content if their garments are white; I am crying, wash me!
Careless souls are content if others think they are clean; I want you to wash-out
my iniquities.
Like with David, sometimes there is one key sin that acts-out to show me
the mountain of my iniquities against you. Any single sin of mine is but a
falling rock from a high heap. I want you to remove the mass of the whole
mess. So little of my iniquity is seen by others, but it is a haunting terror to me!
Cleanse me from my sin. That is a very broad request. It goes beyond my cry
for washing. If washing alone will not do it, then try another process. If water will
not work, then fire must be used. Anything so I can be purified for you.
You have taken away my sins with your blood, but rid me of my propensity
to sin by any means necessary. Leave no guilt on my conscience, just like you left
no mark of sin-stain on my heart.
I do not cry against your chastening; I cry against the sin that drew it down.
I am sick of sin as sin. My loudest moans are against the evil of my own
transgressions, and not the painful consequences they bring. O that you would
remove it so far from me I am never likely to stumble that way again!
I thank you Lord. O, how gentle. For when I deal seriously with my sin,
then you deal gently with me. I find when I am finally willing to hate what you
hate, you quickly make an end of my sorrow by giving me joy and peace. Give me
holiness unto the Lord so I can more fully praise the Lord! Amen.

TIMEWORSHIP
Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and
departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

GIVE GOD THE FIRST PART OF EVERY DAY. The first commitment is
to a daily quiet time with God. Our weekly Prayer Diary provides a template for daily
devotions.
2)

TITHEWORK
1 Cor 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as
God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

GIVE GOD THE FIRST DIME OF EVERY DOLLARno questions

asked. Ten percent is a miniscule amount in our affluent society, but it must come
off the top in order to show that God is our priority. We want the blessing of the
firstfruits (first devotion, first dime and first day) to flow out to the rest of our
resources.
3)

TEAMWORD
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

GIVE GOD THE FIRST DAY OF EVERY WEEK. You should fellowship
with a group of believers around the word of God every Sunday in our church.

QUALITY CHRISTIANITY INVOLVES THREE THINGS

Keeping Christ at the center (your core relationship of worship to God)

Baptists tend to ridicule liturgical churches that use "prepared prayers" because
they lack spontaneity. But for many Baptists, their prayers are so predictable they are
no more spontaneous than written-out prayers. The result is we end up praying the
same things over and over.

God. We have included a daily Bible reading schedule. This plan will take you
through the Bible chronologically in a year.

Secret prayer is the secret of prayer, the soul of prayer, the seal of prayer, the
strength of prayer. If you do not pray alone you do not pray at all. Our Lord Jesus
Christ would go nowhere till He had prayed. He would attempt nothing till He had
prayed.
Oh, says one, I live in the spirit of prayer, and therefore I do not need times
and seasons for prayer. And do you think that Christ did not live in the spirit of
prayer? Yet He had to have his special time and place to pray. Do not fall under the
injurious notion that because your spirit cries to God in prayer all day long, therefore
there must not be some season for more immediately coming into Gods presence. If
you imagine this, I am afraid that it will prove a snare to your feet. The Lord Jesus
Christ, who knew better than you do that the main thing is the spirit of prayer rather
than the act of prayer, yet Himself retired into desert places to maintain the act and
exercise of prayer. Be spiritual. Be baptized into the spirit of prayer. But do not be
deceived by the enemy, who can steal a spirit away while we dream that we only
spiritualize it. We had better preserve the very bones of prayerthe posture, the
time, placerather than let it all ooze away into an impalpable mental condition.
God keep us prayerful. He will do so if He makes us like His dear Son.
Charles H. Spurgeon, 1834-92
