TiLex EG
Epoxy Tile Grout

DESCRIPTION

TiLex EG is a three component epoxy tile grout based on high grade polyamine resin. It
provides good chemical resistance, antifungal and antibacterial properties.

STANDARDS

ANSI A118.3, ASTM C881-78, Type -1, Grade 3, Class B and C.

USES

TiLex EG is suitable for tile joint grouting in hospitals, bathrooms, kitchens, chemical
spillage rooms, laboratories, swimming pools, etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Resistant to various chemicals like mild


acids, alkalis, grease, petrol etc.

Joints to receive grout should be dry, clean, free from standing water, grease, loosely
adhering particles, etc. Cement laitance should be removed by mechanical means.

MIXING

Mix Part A with Part B using a slow speed drill machine fitted with a mixing paddle, for 2-3
minutes. Add Part C and continue mixing until a uniform consistency is achieved.

TiLex EG
APPLICATION

Mixed TiLex EG should be worked into the tile joints using a spatula. It is
recommended to use masking tape around the edges of the tiles to avoid any spillage.
Excess grout material can be removed with the use of a cloth or sponge along with a
suitable solvent. Removal of excess material should be carried out before hardening
of the applied grout.

Shelf Life

12 months from date of manufacture when stored under


warehouse conditions in original unopened packing.
Extreme temperature / humidity may reduce shelf life.

Cleaning

Clean all equipments and tools with Conmix Cleaner.


Clean immediately after use. Hardened material can be
removed mechanically.

PPEs

Gloves, goggles and suitable mask must be worn.

Precautions

Contact with skin, eyes, etc. must be avoided. If swallowed,


seek medical attention immediately.

Hazardous

It is regarded as non-hazardous for transportation.

Disposal

Do not reuse containers. To be disposed off as per local


rules and regulations.
