PROCEDURE TO BE DONE AFTER TO CHANGE A

DEVICE FROM 302 TO 303

1) If the user has PDM, please go to the menu device and select the option Factory.
Then using the menu GSD Identification Number, please, set "Manufacturer
Specific".
2) If the user does not have PDM software, he can make this using the local adjustment
according to the following explanation:
Enter into the local adjustment by inserting the magnetic tool in the ZERO hole (Z). Wait
until appear the "MD" flag on the LCD. Then insert into the SPAN hole(S) and keep it
during 3 seconds. Remove it during 3 seconds and insert it again into the SPAN hole.
The message "LOC ADJ" will appear. After, inserting the magnetic tool in the ZERO
hole and keeping into this hole the user can browse through the items in the menu. Please,
browse until the option "CONF" and then insert the magnetic tool into the SPAN hole
selecting the option "LCD2".After that, insert again the magnetic tool into the ZERO hole
and browse until the option "BLOCK" and then insert the magnetic tool into the SPAN
hole selecting the option "PHY". Insert one more time the magnetic tool into the ZERO
hole and browse until the option "PRMT" and then insert the magnetic tool into the
SPAN hole setting a value of 24. Note that an arrow indicates if you are increasing or
decreasing the value.
To finalize, insert the magnetic tool into the ZERO hole and browse until the option
"UPDT" and then insert the magnetic tool into the SPAN hole selecting the option
"UPD". Keep the magnetic tool for some seconds into this hole and then remove it.
Until this step, we had configured the IDENTIFER NUMBER SELECTOR parameter of
Physical Block on the LCD.
Enter into the local adjustment by inserting the magnetic tool in the ZERO hole. Wait
until appear the "MD" flag on the LCD. Then insert twice in the SPAN hole. The
message "LOC ADJ" will appear. After, inserting the magnetic tool in the ZERO hole
browse until the option LCD2 and inserting the magnetic tool in the SPAN hole setting a
value of 1 ( 1 = manufacturer specific identifier number; 0 = Profile specific identifier
number) to this parameter. Remove the magnetic tool and after some seconds, the LCD
will return to the normal operation of monitoring aborting the local adjustment process.
The condition of identifier number will be saved in EEPROM memory. Wait
until a flag "5" turns off on the LCD.
Then after making the Identifier number selection, please turn off the
device and turn it on again.
This option is not affected by the factory reset.
