Checktheconfigurationoftheperipheral.Makesurethatbothdeviceshave

same baudrate,numberofbits,stopbits,parity,etc.
4)
IfcommunicationisthroughDNC,(Fagorcommunicationsoftware),makesure
that:
a)
thecncmachineparametersareactivatedforDNC.
b)
theconfigurationinDNCissetupaccordingtothemachinetype.
c)
thecorrectseriallineisselectedintheDNCsoftware.
Iftheproblemstillpersist,
STEP2: Thecablemustbeproperlyconnected.
1)
Makesurethattheconnectorsarepluggedintheproperplaceinbothsides
2)
Checkthepinoutofthecable.RefertotheinstallationmanualabouttheRS
232configuration.
3)
Makesurethatthecableislessthan49ft.anditisnotrunthroughpowerlines
ortransformers.Thiscancauseinterferencewithcommunications.
