1. Graduate Program Committee (GPC), School of Pharmacy- Responsible for approval
and development of Graduate courses and curriculum development, approval of Plans of
study for interdisciplinary PhD students, at the school of Pharmacy.University of MissouriKansas City.
2. Interdisciplinary doctoral Student Council- Served as secretary, responsible for serving
Interdisciplinary PhD students on campus including approval of travel grants and organizing
lectures and workshops related to interdisciplinary PhD.
3. American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AAPS) Targeted drug delivery and
Prdrugs Focus Group Steering Committee- Responsible for organizing webinars year
round, events at AAPS national conventions, liaso with other focus groups like Transporters
focus group.
4. Student activity Fee Council- Served as representative of Interdisciplinary Doctoral
Student Council, responsible for advising chancellor on allocation of funds to campus
organizations. Total funds allocated per academic year- USD 10 million.
5. Election director, UMKC Student Government Association(SGA)2011-2012Duties/responsibilities1) The Election Director shall be the Chair of the SGA Election Board.
2) The Election Director will be charged with the operation of elections as fully set out in the
Election Code presented in the SGA Bylaws.
It is the duty of the Election Board to advertise, conduct candidate filing for, establish and
maintain polling places for, and tally and certify to the Student Senate the results of all SGA
elections, student referenda, and constitutional changes requiring a student body vote.
