1. It contains electronic devices, please hold gently.
2. All installing and maintaining should be hold by
professionals.
3. Do not install in the place often eroding by rain
and other liquids.
4 .The installation and all materials must bear the fuselage
weight.
5. Keep the fuselage away from the heat, dust and
high-intensity magnetic filed.
6 .Do not put the heavy on the device, any sundries
around 50 cm.
7. Do not flushing the device directly when cleaning
the car.
8. Do not mixing the output batteries that not fit for the
device.
9. Do not insert your fingers and other objects into the gap when it works.
10. Do not take the devices about without the professionals.
11. Do not change any modules when the host is charged.
12. When replace the module make sure the module is fastening in the host

tightly.

Introduction
The manual is about the features and specifications of one kind of car DVR, it is an integration of 4
monitoring and recording vehicle traveling data recorder wireless data transmission .In the manual it
describe the functions and considerations of the modules ,the connector signal definitions in the back
panel, the interface definition and users operations.

System Introduction

1.1.Feature
This product is designed for car video monitoring and remote controlling, it has a high
cost-performance and good function expansibility. Adopting high-speed processor and
embedded OS, connecting the advanced H.264 video compressing & un-compressing tech, 3g
network tech, GPS positioning tech get the car-driving information and video data store in the
SD card with CIF or HD1, D1 form. It can also achieve the alarm center monitoring, remote
controlling and replay analyzing when match with the center software. The product features
with a brief appearance, super shock-proof, flexible installation, powerful function, high
reliability, etc. Details as following

Adopt advanced H.264 main profile video compression format: high compression ratio, clear images,
small disk space
SD card storage for easy data reading
Adopt general file format. Support main stream H264 player in the market
Power-off protection for video content; ensure the integrality of record when power failure occurs.
Adopt industrial electronic components and industrial design
+6V~+48V wide voltage design, apply to all kinds of vehicles
Support 12V/2A power output, can supply power to other relative devices
Support 4CH alarm input and 1CH alarm output
Support GPS module, can real-time record vehicles speed and auto timing

RMSD card remove keys: In system normal work status, SD cards can ONLY be safety removed
by press REMOVE keys about 3 seconds till SD led indicators off, and SD cards will be reloaded
automatically if the cards do not be removed within 15 seconds.

When password switch set close, after device startup, pressENTERkey into the system menu
When password switch set open, after device startup, pressENTERkey, need input correct device
No., User name and password. Cursor will move to Login, press ENTERkey into the system menu

4.4.6.

Configuration management

Import the pre-existing system configuration parameter or renew the original state

Export Current ConfigurationExport all device configurations to SD card.


Import Current ConfigurationImport the SD info to device.
Renew Original Setup Renew all setup to original setup. This operation will delete all
setup
Note: when the devices have the same configuration, you can use the export-import setup, ie.
Setup one devices then import to others.
4.4.7. Network Settings
Network parameters should be set on the device. The system will detect devices without any further
setting if the configuration is correct

CENTER NUM: Center number, Press theEnter key to pop out keyboard window, then use

USER NAME: Press theEnter key to pop up keyboard window, then use left/right/up/down/ enter key
to setup.
PASSWORD: Press theEnter key to pop up keyboard window, then use left/right/up/down/ enter key
to setup.
Set up IP address, net mask, gateway, MAC address etc. and please set the server IP in same with net
masks, Please make a reference on the above picture
CENTER SETUP
LAN CONNECT: Server IP must keep same with devices and the port number is 5678
WAN CONNECT:
IP ADDR: Set up WAN IP OR DDNS.(Press OK button enter into input status, press number key to
input number, and input letter through soft keyboard)
PORT: If user get online via router, make a port mapping is necessary, the port number is 5678
Click OK to save all setup.

4.4.8. Sub-streaming set


Cursor move to Sub-streaming and pressENTERkey enter to the following interface

Resolution: video image quality by network transmission, pressENTERkey to enter in


Bit rate: use bit rate by network transmission, pressENTERkey to enter in
:Frame rate: use frame rate by network transmission, when change bit rate, frame rate change
correspondingly

Can control PTZ and relative devices by configuration

serial port: can proceed function extension by configurating the serial port. Control PTZ, data
transmission etc. Press ENTER key.
Baud rate, data bit, stop bit, parity bit: configure serial port parameters

search

Manage and record the host alarm, including date, time and name

5.1.1.

Red cable and yellow cable together connect power positive of the car storage battery while
black cable connect negative
If set timing switch, please connect positive and negative to the car storage battery directly, it will
effect when ignition signal break down.(if set timing, it will invalid when power off )

Note
The recorder is DC battery; please attention the positive and negative polar.
1. The voltage is 7V~48V.Do not insert voltage that beyond this range. Under low
voltage the recorder doesnt work, under high voltage will be harm to the recorder.
2. Please make sure the recorder is connect with the car powder directly. Do not
connect with the generator, the instantaneous voltage will harm to the recorder.
3. The battery powder must beyond 60W.
4. The ware must can stand battery powder that beyond 60W.(For example, when
the output voltage is 12V,the ware must can bear 5A or more current.
5. Please put cover into the ware, the cover must wear-resistant, heat-resistant,
water-proof, grease-proof, in case of short circuit and open circuit.
6. Please install a fuse holder near the battery output positive polar for fear of the
short circuit will damage the battery.

The device supports 4 alarm inputs and 2 alarm outputs. The alarm input detection use
level detection; it can connect with brake and turn horn. The following is the brake detection
diagram. When the braking vane is down, the level is high otherwise the level is low

6. 3G car mobile DVR parameter setting


1 Server IP must be globe IP
2 Default Port is 5678. If user modify, please set the same port in the device register port under the
server software
3 If the computer which running Fclient in local area network, Port map must be setting in router
(Please make a reference in picture 2

4 There are two types IP setting: Domain and IP. If customer set it as Domain, the user router must
support DDNS. (Please make a reference in picture 3)

3G Statues check out


Press F2 key on remote control under preview interface to check out current statues. It will show the
information about 3G modules. Such as: whether 3G or SIM card exists or not;
(Please make a reference in picture (300 series please press F1 )

7. FAQ
7.1. 3G relative questions
1)

Q: 3G cant transmit data


A: 3G cant transmit data. Possible reason is as follows
a)

Has no connect 3G antenna

b)

Has not inserted SIM card

c)

Some wireless settings in Setup menu are not correct. Such as: have not open wireless
dial-up, 3G protocol setting is not correct, APN setting is not correct etc.

2)

d)

Center server setting is not fully correct. Such as: center IP position is not correct

e)

PC configuration is not correct. Such as gateway router in PC has not port mapping

Q: Can 3G remote preview and local record proceed synchronously


A: can realize real-time preview and local video record storage in the control center.

3)

Q: How is the 3G transmission rate?


A: As per the 3G band width in different country, For now EVDO used in China can realize
4CH synchronized transmission, 15 frame/CH

4)

Q: whats the delay time of 3G remote preview?


A: transmission delay within 2s-10s, depends on the bandwidth

5)

Q: How can download video files through 3G?


A: can realize download files by manual way

7.2. Wireless module relative questions


1)

Q: If adopt wireless module to dial-up, what settings should be attended?


A: At fist, select built-in wireless module, and then select corresponding type: WCDMA, EVDO,
TD-SCDMA. Please fill in APN if connect public network, please fill in APN which your
operator use. If set VPN, it is relative with the center setting, so please set according to the APN
information.

Q: When the wireless module issues occur, what things should we do?

A: please enter into display page or system information page to check the dial-up state to see
whether sim card and wireless module exist or not and to see whether the antenna contact well or
not

7.3. Record Relative Issues


1)

Q: Device cannot make a record successfully


A: he following reasons might cause this problem:
a)

Recode mode setup in a wrong way. There are 3 kinds of record mode: Auto, Timed
and Alarm. Before recording, user must to setup record mode in system. If it was set in
Alarm mode but has no alarm right now, device will not make a record. If it was set
in Timed mode but the current time not within timed period, same as above, device
will not make a record as well.

b)

Overwritten function was OFF and the capacity of SD card less than 500M, in this
situation device will stop recording.

c)

The ERR light of front panel shine. Can pass to look into a system information, If SD
card space shows in 0please check whether SD card has been formatted before use
and inserts or not.

d)

Record mode be set to OFF in each channel. Please press Enter button on remote
control to switch OFF to ON mode before record, otherwise device will not make
any record.

2)

Q: Record files have no audio?
