Welthungerhilfe is a German humanitarian and development organisation running projects in

the fields of Basic Needs, Food Security, Agriculture and Livestock, Water & Sanitation,
Rehabilitation of Social Infrastructure, and Community Development in Yangon, Ayeyawaddy
Division, Shan State and Magway Division.

For the integrated Food Project in Wa Special Region 2, Northern Shan State we are looking
for suitable candidates for the following positions.

Id. Position Requirements

• University Degree in Civil engineering along with practical

experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience preferably working in
rural development, international development organization.
• Good communication skills, ability to coordinate with local officials
Senior Engineer and community leaders and to organize community groups

(1) Post • Skilled in participatory approaches at community level

1 • Able to work in a team, able to work in rural areas

Duty station: • Prepared to flexible working hours (beyond regular work time) and
Wein Kao to assume a wide range of duties according to upcoming needs
• Self-confidence and own initiative
• Fully computer literate in MS Office Package and AutoCAD
• Able to provide comprehensive written reports in English.
• Good English skills a plus.

• University Degree in Civil engineering .

• Specific technical knowledge in construction of schools and water
Junior Engineer supply systems (gravity flow systems)
(1) Post • At least three years of working experience relevant construction
2 sites.
Duty station:
Wein Kao • Good knowledge of English.
• Computing skills (MS Word, MS Excel) knowledge of Shan
language are assets.
• Experienced in driving motor-bikes.
• University Graduate.
• Proficient in English. And knowledge of Chinese language is a
Logistic Officer plus.
(1) Post • 3-4 years of experience in logistics filed.
3 • Ability to work in the team. Able to work in rural area.
Duty station: • Flexible to work beyond regular work hours according to
Wein Kao upcoming needs
• Self-confidence and own initiative
• Fully computer literate in MS Office Package
