Introduction

This Research is about the change management in an organization, what factors play important
role in it and what impact it creates. Change in management can occur due to many reasons
which include Technological change within an organization, Employees behavior, Environmental
effect and Managers decision. The inner structure of any organization is its integral part and if
any change occurs in the management, it directly creates impact over entire organization.
Research is done about how organization overcomes such problems and what steps they take in
order to keep the management as effective as possible.
Change management is one of the most important aspects of a company's
management and it also defines its human resources policy. Change
management takes place in response to the change in the top management
of the organization or the change in the organizational policies of a company.
Voet

(2014)

have

extensively

discussed

the

importance

of

change

management for an organization. The change management is important for


the success of a company as the company can only survive in adverse times
through the adoption of an alternate path.

Literature Review

Objective:
The main objective of this study is to study the important factors which can
have an influence on the change management of a company. The study aims
to further explore the impact of these factors on the change management

strategy of a company. The study focuses on the various factors which are
known to have a strong effect on the change management of the
companies.
The significance of this study is that it would contribute in providing a
detailed analysis to the managers regarding the change management
strategies. It would also aid the managers to develop a clear picture in their
minds the various factors which can have a positive or negative influence on
the change management of a company. The study would allow the managers
to

develop

new

strategies

to

successfully

implement

the

change

management in their companies. It would provide an evidence as to how


much impact does the various factors have on the change management. It
would also shows that which factors have a negative impact on change
management and which would have a positive impact on the success of
change management. In this way the research would allow the managers to
make appropriate strategies according to the impact of different factors.
The study would allow the managers to see how the structure of the
organization can have an influence on the change management. It would
also allow them to depict the impact of employee behavior and technological
changes. Sometimes the centralization and decentralization of a company
may also have an influence on the change management of a company. It also
shows that impact of the coordination between the employees and their
impact on the success of change management.

Thus this study would help to understand the current situation of the
companies. In this way the companies would be able to understand the
situation which could help the managers to implement change management
in their companies.

Variables:
There is one dependent variable and ten independent variables that were analyzed
to accept or reject the hypothesis formulated. The dependent variable is Change
management and independent variables include Trustworthy Leadership, Employees
involvement, Performance of workers, Technology change, Management skills,
Behavior and handling, Change roles, Change ownership, Strategies and Culture.
