Day 1: Our pilgrimage begins as we depart from our local airport for
our flight to Lisbon, Portugal.
Day 2: Upon arrival in Lisbon well visit the birth place of St. Anthony
of Padua in Lisbon and further north well visit St. Stephens Church
in Santarem and adore the miracle of the Bleeding Host. Afternoon
arrival into Ftima. Tonight well all head to the shrine for the candle
light procession. Dinner. Overnight Ftima, Portugal

Day 3: We enjoy Mass this morning at the Capelinha built over the
Holmoak tree where Our Lady appeared five times to the three shepherd
children Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco. Well tour the basilica and
shrine. This afternoon well visit Aljustrel, where the angel of Portugal
appeared, and Valinhos where Our Lady appeared in August of 1917.
Tonight well all head to the shrine for the candle light procession.
Dinner. Overnight Ftima, Portugal

Day 4: This morning, we depart for Spain. Our first stop is at the
Carmelite Convent where Sr. Lucia spent most of her life. Next, we set
off for Porto, where we will enjoy a local vineyard. Dinner. Evening
arrival into Santiago. Overnight Santiago de Compostela, Spain

Day 5: Today we will have an opportunity to walk a portion of the


Way of St. James, followed by a guided tour of the Basilica of
St. James. Dinner. Overnight Santiago de Compostela, Spain

Day 6: We depart for Burgos. En route we will visit Leon, where


well stop at the Gothic cathedral on the Plaza de Regla, as well as the
Basilica of St. Isidore. Dinner. Overnight Burgos, Spain

Day 7: This morning, were off to the Casa del Cordon and the
Royal Monastery of Huielgas-reales-Burgos. This afternoon well
depart Burgos to make our way to Loyola. On our way, well visit the
ancient village of Azpeitia before arriving in Loyola, birth place of
St. Ignatius. Dinner. Overnight Loyola, Spain

Day 8: Following breakfast, we travel to the Benedictine Monastery


of Montserrat. There well visit the Basilica, which was dedicated
to Our Lady of Montserrat. Following our visit we will continue to
Barcelona. Dinner. Overnight Barcelona, Spain
Day 9: We spend the day in Barcelona, where well have a guided tour
of this beautiful city. Well our day at Antoni Gaudis breathtaking
Sagrada Familia. Dinner. Overnight Barcelona, Spain
Day 10: After breakfast, we depart for Madrid with a stop to Zaragoza
to see the Pilar Basilica and its connection with St. James. Dinner.
Overnight Madrid, Spain
Day 11: Morning sightseeing tour of Madrid including the Royal Palace
and Plaza Mayor. In the afternoon we will make an excursion to visit
Toledo. Back to Madrid for dinner. Overnight Madrid, Spain
Day 12: After breakfast, visit the world famous Monastery of El
Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen. Following our break for lunch,
we make our way to Avila, the town associated with St. Teresa. In Avila
well visit the Convent of St. Teresa (site of her birthplace), as well as
other places associated with St. Teresa. We head back to Madrid for our
Farewell dinner. Overnight Madrid, Spain
Day 13: With a deeper love for Mary, gratitude to God and wonderful
memories of our pilgrimage, well board our plane for our flight home.
