    AdventistChurch,and

    WhereastheSeventhdayAdventistChurchseekstoengageeverymemberinitsworldwide
    missiontomakedisciplesofJesusChristamongpeoplefromeverynation,cultureandethnicity,
    and

    WhereasvariousgroupsappointedbytheGeneralConferenceanditsdivisionshavecarefully
    studiestheBibleandEllenGWhitewritingswithrespecttotheordinationofwomenandhave
    notarrivedatconsensusastowhetherministerialordinationforwomenisunilaterallyaffirmed
    ordenied,and

    WhereastheSeventhdayAdventistChurchaffirmsthatGodhasordainedthatthe
    representativesofHisChurchfromallpartsoftheearth,whenassembledinaGeneral
    ConferenceSession,shallhaveauthority,

    Therefore,theGeneralConferenceExecutiveCommitteerequestsdelegatesintheirsacred
    responsibilitytoGodatthe2015GeneralConferenceSessiontorespondtothefollowing
    question:

    AfteryourthoroughstudyoftheBible,thewritingsofEllenGWhite,andthereportsofthestudy
    commissionsonordination,and

    AfteryourcarefulconsiderationofwhatisbestfortheChurchandthefulfillmentofitsmission,

    Isitacceptablefordivisionexecutivecommittees,astheymaydeemitappropriateintheir
    territories,tomakeprovisionfortheordinationofwomentothegospelministry?YesorNo.
