Additional Instructions to the Candidates

Seat Allotment in Main Round:

1. The results of seat allotment of main round will be declared on a specified
date given in the schedule.
2. The Phase-II allotment (from Rank 35001 to ALL) of Main Round will be
done on the un-allotted seats after the Phase-I of allotment (from Rank 1
to 35000).
3.

In case you have been allotted multiple seats then you could confirm only
once choice out of your allotted seats.

Seat Confirmation in Main Round

4. Each candidate must confirm his/her choice of allotted seat through
http://www.upsee.nic.in by depositing a fee of Rs 15000=00 (excluding
bank and any other charges) ONLINE.
5. EACH CANDIDATE ALLOTTED A SEAT IN THE MAIN ROUND MUST
CONFIRM THE SEAT ALLOTTED TO HIM. IF A CANDIDATE DOES NOT T
CONFIRM

OF

CONFIRMATION OF SEAT, IT WILL BE ASSUMED THAT HE IS NOT

INTERESTED IN THE SEAT AND THE SEAT ALLOTTED TO HIM WILL BE
CONSIDERED AS VACANT. SUCH SEATS WILL BE ALLOTTED TO OTHER
CANDIDATES DURING LATER ROUNDS OF COUSELING.

IF A CANDIDATE WANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN SPECIAL COUNSELING

ROUND FOR RESERVED CATEGORIES (SC/ST/OBC) OR ADDITIONAL
SPECIAL COUNSELING ROUND FOR SC CATEGORY FOR UP-GRADATION
OF HIS/HER CHOICE AND HE IS ELIGIBLE FOR THAT ROUND, HE/SHE
IS REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR THAT ROUND SEPERATELY ONLINE.
AFTER REGISTRATIO, SUCH CANDIDATES WILL AGAIN GET A CHANCE
TO FILL THEIR CHOICES A FRESH AND SEEK NEW ALLOTMENT.

Seat Allotment in Special Counseling for Reserved categories Round:

7. Those candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, who want to
participate in Special Counseling for Reserved categories must register
online.
8. Those candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, who could not
participate in the Main Round of Counseling, may also participate in this
round. A candidate, who did not participate in the main round and reports
for registration in this round, will be required to go through the document
verification process similar to the main round.
9. Those candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, who participated in
the Main Round of Counseling whether allotted a seat or not, may also
participate in this round.
10.Those candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, who participated in
the Main Round of Counseling and have confirmed a seat in the Main
Round, may also participate in this round.
11.Thus, a candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, who want to
participate in Special Counseling for Reserved categories for improving
their seat, may do so by registering himself online.
12. After registration, the candidate will get an OTP on his/her registered
mobile number.

13.Using this OTP, the registered candidates can fill their choices a fresh
similar to the main round.

Please note that if a candidate is allotted a seat and has

confirmed seat in the main round and a new seat is allotted to

him/her in this round, his/her earlier allotment (whether confirmed
or not ) shall deem to be automatically cancelled.
15.

Therefore, such candidates who hold a confirmed seat from the

main round, has to be very careful while filling his/her choices in this
round of counseling.
16.If a candidate is unsuccessful in getting a seat in this round, earlier
allotted seat, if any, during the first round will be retained by him.

Seat Confirmation in Special Counseling for Reserved categories Round:

17. If a candidate was not having any seat allotted earlier in the Main Round
and has been first time allotted a seat, he will be required to submit the
required confirmation fee of Rs 15000=00 ONLINE within specified date, in
order to confirm his/her seat.
18. Those candidates, who were allotted a seat and have already deposited
confirmation fee of Rs 15000=00 in the Main Round, will not be required to
deposit confirmation fee again.
19.In case, a candidate is allotted a seat in multiple streams then he/she has
to visit the same document verification center for confirming his/her
choice of seat in only one stream. If the candidate doesnt visit the
document verification center within the specified time then one of
the seats will be cancelled.

Seat Allotment in Additional Special Counseling for SC category Round:

20.Those

candidates belonging to SC category, who want to participate in

Additional Special Counseling for SC category for improving their seat,

must register themselves ONLINE.
21.Those candidates belonging to SC category, who could not participate in
the Main Round of Counseling/ Special Counseling for Reserved
Categories Round, may also participate in this round. A candidate, who
did not participate in the main round and reports for registration in this
round, will be required to go through the document verification process
similar to the main round.
22.Those candidates belonging to SC, who participated in the Main Round of
Counseling / Special Counseling for Reserved Categories Round whether
allotted a seat or not, may also participate in this round.
23.Those candidates belonging to SC category, who participated in the Main
Round of Counseling / Special Counseling for Reserved Categories Round
and have confirmed a seat in the Main Round/ Special Counseling for
Reserved Categories Round, may also participate in this round.
24.Thus, a candidate belonging to SC category, who want to participate in
Special Counseling for Reserved categories for improving their seat, may do
so by registering himself ONLINE.
25.A candidate, who did not participate in the Main round / Special
Counseling for Reserved Categories Round and reports for registration in
this round, will be required to go through the document verification
process similar to the Main Round with a counseling fee of Rs 500=00, in
form of bank draft drawn in the favour of Finance Officer, Uttar Pradesh
Technical University, Lucknow payable at Lucknow, for this round.

26. After registration, the candidate will get an OTP on his/her registered
mobile number.
27.Using this OTP, the registered candidates can fill their choices a fresh
similar to the Main round.

Please note that if a candidate is allotted a seat and has

confirmed seat in the main round / Special Counseling for Reserved

Categories Round and a new seat is allotted to him/her in this round,
his/her earlier allotment (whether confirmed or not) shall deem to be
automatically cancelled.
29.

Therefore, such candidates who hold a confirmed seat from the

Main round/ Special Counseling for Reserved Categories Round, has

to be very careful while filling his/her choices in this round of
counseling.
30.If a candidate is unsuccessful in getting a seat in this round, earlier
allotted seat, if any, during the Main Round / Special Counseling for
Reserved Categories Round will be retained by him.
Seat Confirmation in Additional Special Counseling for SC category Round:
31.If a candidate was not having any seat allotted earlier in the Main
Round/Special Round and has been first time allotted a seat, he will be
required to submit the required confirmation fee of Rs 15000=00 ONLINE
within specified date, in order to confirm his/her seat.
32. Those candidates, who were allotted a seat and have already deposited
confirmation fee of Rs 15000=00 in the Main Round/Special Round, will
not be required to deposit confirmation fee again.
33.In case, a candidate is allotted a seat in multiple streams then he/she has
to visit the same document verification center for confirming his/her

choice of seat in only one stream. If the candidate doesnt visit the
