A-Z of Effective Project Delivery & Governance in

Kuwait

Organised in partnership with the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion

Authority
09.00-14.00
A new era for the Kuwait business community begins with new legislation
that will transform the investment environment for local, regional and
international enterprises operating in the State of Kuwait
09.00 The Investing in Kuwait Forum is a special half-day briefing designed
to deliver the latest information about positive changes in the
legislative environment governing domestic and foreign investment
in Kuwait. The forum will cover three key issues; the implementation
of the new foreign investment code due to be in place by the end of
2013. Major changes include the replacement of the present positive
list of sectors where foreign investment is allowed to a negative list,
which opens up the whole economy to foreign investment apart
from selected areas, the new commercial companies law making it
easier for local and foreign companies to do business in Kuwait and
debt and bankruptcy regulations.
