REMA TIP TOP The top corrosion protection brand

TIP TOP Industrie has been known for its superior quality standards for over 30 years. Our REMA TIP TOP abrasion and corrosionproof products as well as our materials for the repair of conveyer belts continue to set new and higher standards. This commitment to
superior quality standards is also manifested by TIP TOP Industrie in the field of corrosion protection.
All the natural and synthetic materials utilized in the range of products produced by REMA TIP TOP for corrosion protection systems
feature a particularly high resistance to chemical, thermal and mechanical stress. Our experienced technical staff will determine the
optimal materials and processing techniques based on the project data and, if necessary, also on site for each load type encountered
in a particular facility. This in-depth analysis will ensure that each individual protection system will meet the requirements in the best
possible manner and guarantee the efficient and cost-effective operation of your plant in the future.

REMA TIP TOP

Top quality systems from one source

The operational reliability of the REMA TIP TOP anti-corrosion materials is the result of many years of tests conducted in the laboratory
as well as the most rigorous field tests, which include every conceivable load spectrum. The recommendations provided to your company
by our technical specialists are also based on a comprehensive and individual analysis of the specific conditions and requirements of your
facility: all surfaces to be provided with a protection system are examined, process parameters are established, the composition of the
various media, individual concentrations and temperatures are recorded and evaluated, while also taking interference factors and risks
into account. This extensive research will ensure that the rubber lining/coating system ultimately selected for your installation will provide
the most efficient and durable corrosion protection possible.

Three different material types are available, depending on the field of application:
CHEMOLINE Soft rubber linings
which exhibit an excellent resistance to chemicals and a high level of abrasion resistance when exposed to media
having a high solids content.
CHEMONIT Hard rubber linings
which provide an outstanding chemical resistance to mineral acids, bases, organic solvents and aqueous phases.
REMA TIP TOP offers a broad range of adhesive systems to be utilized in conjunction with the application of these
individual protection systems, also supplied from our own development and production.
COROFLAKE Polymer coatings
offer an extraordinarily high level of resistance to most solvents, organic and inorganic acids and alkaline media in
addition to an exceptional temperature stability.

TIP TOP Oberflchenschutz Elbe GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary, provides a range of qualified services which supplement our line
of products. This specialized company, recognized as a leader in its field, is responsible for the execution of all rubber lining and coating works within the Stahlgruber Group and is in charge of all preparatory works, from the application of the REMA TIP TOP rubber
lining and coating materials up to the vulcanization of workshop linings. In addition, TIP TOP Oberflchenschutz Elbe GmbH
manufactures all corrosion protection sheets used for workshop as well as on-site rubber linings and assembles the site equipment as
required.

Olympic DAM Australia:
Complete lining of a mineral processing plant for uranium ore. The tanks were lined
completely and/or in segments using approx. 45,000 m2 of CHEMOLINE 4 CN.
The pipework were lined with approx. 25,000 m 2 of CHEMOLINE 4 CN
and REMALINE 40 CN. Since various tank bottoms had not been built using
conventional stainless steel, REMA TIP TOP utilized an innovative system, which
involved the application of approx. 13,000 m2 of a specially developed 3 mm thick
geomembrane.
Medium: inorganic salts and sulphuric acid

Wacker Burghausen:
REMA TIP TOP hard and soft rubber lining materials were used to protect the 11
tanks within this brine processing plant, which had a total surface area to be lined that
exceeded 2,000 m2. The lining work for all tanks having a diameter up to 3,200 mm
was undertaken at our workshop in Wittenberg, where they were provided with a
CHEMONIT 31 hard rubber lining to protect against corrosion and, in some cases
also outfitted with CHEMOLINE 3 and/or CHEMOLINE 4A soft rubber linings as an
additional protection against abrasion. Larger tanks were lined in a nearby shipyard
and/or on the construction site with the CHEMOLINE 4 CN rubber lining.
Medium: sodium chloride, brine, hydrochloric acid and caustic soda solution

Iskenderun Power Plant:

The German firm of STEAG constructed 2 power plant units with respectively 605
MW in Iskenderun / Turkey. TIP TOP Oberflchenschutz Elbe executed the
complete rubber lining and coating works for the flue gas desulphurization units
installed downstream. Approx. 4,800 m2 of CHEMOLINE 4B was applied to the
absorbers on site, along with 4,000 m2 of CHEMOLINE 4 CN to the tanks. A total
of 10,000 m2 steel surface areas in the stack flues and the connection ducts were
protected with COROFLAKE 23. The spray zones and circulation pipes were
rubber-lined with 900 m2 of CHEMOLINE 4A and CHEMOLINE 4B at our
workshop in Wittenberg.
Medium: flue gas, scrubbing suspension

Bewag Power Plant Reuter Berlin:

Extensive refurbishing works were carried out in the C scrubber of the Reuter
Power Plant using REMA TIP TOP rubber lining and coating materials. Approx.
2,150 m2 steel surfaces in the scrubber were protected with CHEMOLINE 4B.
In the crude gas inlet, a steel surface measuring 300 m 2 was coated with
COROFLAKE 23. In addition, TIP TOP Oberflchenschutz Elbe was also
responsible for the execution of various auxiliary works, such as the preparation
of surfaces and treatment of steel, as well as all dismantling and re-assembly
works, in conjunction with several different subcontractors.
Medium: flue gas, scrubber suspension
