The S.KI LIGHT does not sacrifice body stability in


favour of light-weight design. The robust
aluminium box bodies with 40 mm thick walls are
constructed using high-strength 3.5 mm profiles
and can also be equipped with wear plates when

required. The weight-optimised steel chassis are


designed for constant heavy loading.
Nevertheless, the S.KI LIGHT does not weigh any
more than a comparable vehicle with an
aluminium chassis.

The Body Details.


We equip the body of your S.KI LIGHT to your
specifications. The thickness of the side walls and
the floor along the rear-wall configuration can all
be customised to match the vehicles field of
application. Areas of the wall and floor subjected
to especially high wear can also be protected with
wear plates.

The plastic coating protects against wear, offers


good slippage and prevents freezing.

Clamping chains between the upper edges. The


optional roof profile bows prevent water from
collecting on the tarpaulin which can then trickle into
the cargo or freeze.

Sludge-sealed body design: The external pendulum


tailgate is equipped with a rubber seal.

Body heating: The heat from the tractor's exhaust


heats the lower lip of the tipper body.

Wear plates optimise the durability of the rear part of


the body.

Practical, low-weight and easy to operate
Thewinding aid helps to unroll and roll up the
tarpaulin across the tipper body. Where required,
roof bows can be utilised to prevent water from
collecting on the tarpaulin. Securing the load with
the rollup tarpaulin is no problem even when the
load protrudes slightly.

On the left-hand side of the body the rollup tarpaulin


is folded over the upper lip, attached and secured
via the eyes.

Bows ensure that the rollup tarpaulin does not lie on


top of the load. The optional roof bows prevent water
from coming into contact with sensitive loads.
