2. Scope & objective of the Course:


THIS COURSE WILL ENABLE THE STUDENTS TO GET INDEPTH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE VARIOUS
ASPECTS OF CRIMES AND VARIOUS CRIMINAL OFFENCES. THE COURSE SHOULD PREPARE THE
STUDENT TO IDENTIFY A ACT AS AN CRIME OR NOT AND HOW TO PROSECUTE OR DEFENT THE SAME
.THE STUDENTS WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO LOOK INTO THE VARIOUS CHANGES THAT HAD TO BE
INCORPORATED DUE TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF RAPIDLY CHANGING SOCIETY INCLUDING
INTOLERANCE TOWARDS OFFENCES BASICALLY TARGETED AGAINST WOMEN.THEY WILL ALSO BE
ABLE TO OBSERVE SOME SEVERE SHORTFALLS IN OUR CRIMINAL LAW AND NEED FOR SPEEDY
REFORM OF THE SAME.
