Bachelor 1 at ESG Management School
2015 Academic Year and Application Sessions

LESG Management School offers the opportunity to senior school year students enrolled in a French high school abroad or in an equivalent
international program (such as A-levels), or in a French overseas department or territory to join the school in the 1st year with no need to come
to Paris to take examination tests. The 2015 intake offers about 30 seats via this procedure.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURE

FACTOR AND EXAMINERS

It mainly consists of an application form to download, fill in and send back to our
Admissions department including the following documents:

Completed application form (including essay questions).

School reports from the last two years leading to Baccalaureate or equivalent.
Copy of the transcript of official results for the Baccalaureate or equivalent as soon

as obtained.
1 or 2 reference letters from teachers or academic supervisors.
Certificate of Registration for the current academic year.
Certificate with official score for one of the following English Test: TOEFL, IELTS,

Cambridge test (FCE, CAE, Proficiency in English). This test is only necessary for nonnative speakers. Applicants who are unable to deliver one of the above mentioned
English test certificate (if they are non-native speakers) may have to comply with an oral
interview in English, depending on their previous results. Such test will last approximately
20 minutes and can take place either on the spot or by videoconference (via Skype).
Copy of an official score for a French Test TEF or equivalent (if your mother tongue
is not French).

The application form (with all academic records) is worth 7 as a ratio, and the
English test* is worth 3 (if taken) and which gives a total ratio of 10. If so, only the
academic records will be taken into account. The Board of Examiners will determine
the official admission mark according to a single ranking for all applicants for one
session where each test is given a weight factor as mentioned in the table below. The
Board of Examiners may set up a waiting list to call for complementary applicants
whose score failed to reach the admission mark according to their ranking, should
better ranked applicants withdraw from the admission list.
At the end of such stage, the final decision for admission is taken by the Board, during
which the year of integration of each admitted applicant is decided, that is to say in
first year for Baccalaureate or equivalent holders. Applicants who join the school
through this process are eligible for the official degree of ESG Management School,
should they meet all the compulsory requirements to be awarded such diploma.
The chairman of both the Admission Board and the Board of Examiners awarding
the diploma of ESG Management School jury is nominated by the State Education
Officer - by ministerial order form March, 8th 2001. This officer or their official
representative is to attend the Boards deliberation to safeguard lawfulness.
The Board is composed of the State Education Officer, the Ministrys representative, the
Dean of the School, the Academic Dean as well as the professors in charge of written
and spoken exams. The decisions made by the Board of Examiners are irrevocable.
* The English test is not compulsory for English mother tongue applicants.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
All application forms must be submitted to the ESG Management School Admissions Department. They must be clearly and correctly filled in and sent back before the closing date
referring to the chosen session -postmark attesting- with all requested documents. Please refer to the title Documents to enclose.
