The HealthGuard-15 measures the blood pressure and estimates the body fat of adults
aged 18 and over.
Getting Started
Assembling & Setting Up Your HG-15
First you'll need enough room to place the scale, the integrated cuff, and your computer
next to each other as shown in the illustration below.
Next, open and remove the contents of the hardware bag (2 phillips head screws, 2
washers, and 2 thumb screws). Attach the are rest to the cuff as shown below:
Once assembled, attach the cuff to the table top using the supplied thumbscrews:
A- Communication Cable
B - Power Cord
C - USB Cable
Note: The HG-15 may take 2-5 minutes to warm up before it is recognized by your PC.
Place the optical standard in the cuff as shown and click "OK"
When the Zero Adjust is complete, you will see the following dialogue box:
Performing a Measurement
To start a measurement click the "Begin" Button on the HG screen:

Step on the scale. When weight has been successfully measured, the
following dialogue box will appear:

Place the left arm into the cuff, and press Start. The following screen will appear:

The measurement may be stopped at any time by clicking the Abort button shown above,
OR by pressing the red Emergency Stop Button on the side of the cuff housing (see
photo).
It is very important that the test subject be still and quiet during the evaluation. Talking
or movement can cause errors in the measurements.

As soon as the test is complete, a results screen will appear hat provides an evaluation of
the information that was gathered.
The results will remain visible for 60 seconds. The user has the option of simply writing
them down, or clicking the "Print Results" button for a 3 page report.
To obtain the printed report, the "Print Results" button must be clicked within 60 seconds
of completing the test.

2. Open this folder and you will find a sub folder named "Kiosk."
3. This folder will contain a file named bias.txt. Open this file. You will see the
following window.
