WRITER'S ASSISTANT (Jan. 1993 to Sept. 1997)

Roderick Thorp Inc. Roderick Thorp was a writer specializing mainly in crime
novels and best known for his best seller Nothing Last Forever which was adapted into
the film Die Hard staring Bruce Willis. First he was my neighbor and friend, then my
employer and eventually my mentor and collaborator.
Researcher and typist for novels and screenplays.
Helped him transition from using pens & yellow pads to word processors &
computers.
Prior to 1993, I cut my teeth with production work on various films, commercials,
industrials, and music videos. Although most of my time was spent advancing up the
ranks in production (PA, assistant director, production manager, producer, etc.), I had the
opportunity to obtain professional experience in every position within the world of
filmmaking truck driving, props, lighting, sound, camera, editing, sound editing
everything except for make-up and hair.
Through all of the above, I continue to pursue my own projects as a screenwriter,
videographer and artist, including the moderate successes of the gallery showings of my
creations from Computer Folk Art and Computer Folk Art 2.0.
