capture ICD-9 coding for specified dates of services. Ensured the accurate capture and submission of
documented diagnoses for the purpose of risk adjustment, while maintaining confidentiality and
compliance with HIPAA regulations.

02/09 – 07/09 – Wellness Medical Care – Mount Vernon, NY


Front Desk Coordinator
Hired on a part-time basis at the conclusion of my internship. Acted as receptionist and registered
incoming new patients, created charts, entered patient data into the PMP (Practice Management Program)
software; i.e., Eclipse; obtained authorizations and verified insurance. Entered Physical Therapy and
