NEW OVARIAN-CANCER with Diesel and Gasoline engines
SCREENING METHOD
Ovarian cancer is a deadly disease partly because symptoms are
so indistinct that women are often not diagnosed until it is too late.
Recently, the hunt for better screening methods has produced a way
of more effectively screening for the disease. According to a study of
Lots of great deals on our entire car line
200,000 women, combining blood tests with ultrasound scans has been
found to catch 90% of ovarian cancer cases. The CA125 blood test
looks for a compound produced by ovarian tumors, while transvaginal
ultrasound provides more useful information. The long-term study is
‘09 Ford Focus
particularly encouraging because nearly half of the ovarian cancers with 35 mpg and Ford Sync for hands-free
detected by the combination tests were at an early stage (stage 1), when phone and MP3 operation
survival rates can be as high as 90%. This method of screening is not
currently recommended for all patients.

It is important for a woman to have routine pelvic exams to screen

for enlarged ovaries since ovarian cancer has few, if any, symptoms in its
early stages. If you have questions or concerns about your gynecological
health, contact WISE OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY P.A at
940-626-8008. The office is conveniently located at 1713 South FM
51, Ste. 201, Decatur. New patients are welcome.

P.S. Ovarian cancer was diagnosed in more than 21,000 U.S. women in ‘09 Mustang ‘09 Edge ‘09 Fusion
2008, and killed more than 15,000.
